~All right.~ She stood, walking around to sit in the chair beside Seph instead. She put both hands on his shoulders and slowly started to send him to sleep with ijutsu.

Seph slowly began to drift. Solid items became blurry, became doubles. He shook his head, trying to rid himself of the blurry vision. He blinked, then slowly began rocking forward.
~Phairen, sto-!~
"--Too late." Seph's right hand shot up, keeping him from slouching the rest of the way onto the table. He shook his head. "I don't think it worked, Nyl.." He frowned some, closing his eyes.

Seph looked at his hands, flexing them. He almost marveled at them as they went from fists to open-palm and back again to fists. He shook his feet, then looked at Nyl. "It didn't work." He said, matter-of-factly. He stood up and shook his whole body, as if loosening it up or testing it out.

Nyl kept a blank expression, but she also stood. "...I noticed." She raised an eyebrow at him. "But apparently you feel better now."

Seph stretched and smiled. There was something about his smile that was different, though. He blinked and took a deep breath. "Yes. I must go. Lot's of work to do." He said, making his way towards the threshold to the main room, leaving his mug.

Seph stopped mid-stride, waiting. Finally, he turned. "Then we should discuss it." He moved back to the chair and took a seat, facing her.

She closed her eyes for a long moment, as though summoning up strength. She opened them again and fixed him in a steady stare.
"What just happened to Sephiroth and his Protector?"

Seph stood slowly, his eyes locking with hers. He smiled genuinely and pocketed his hands, inhaling deeply and releasing the breath luxuriously. "I'll be in the Ho Dojo." He closed his eyes and nodded, turning towards the main room again.
