Felina gasped in shock at Jenna's actions "What did you do that for? I thought he was your friend" she scolded her remembering when they had last met. She walked over to Oassu and placed her hand onto his face releasing tiny white sparks onto him "It's not much but it will stop the swelling. Sorry I can't do anything more" she told him sadly.
Satoshi frowned looking at Alpha "now might just be your chance" she whispered to him reaching out for her kunai. "Oassu may be annoying sometimes but that was harsh. It's not the smartest thing to do when choosing to pick a fight with us" she spat.
Corella trembled a little pushing Zadina back "Did you have to start a fight here? You're disrupting the peace and making a scene so please leave us be, we haven't done anything bad to you" she asked stuttering the last part of her sentence. "I never really know what to do in these sort of situations" she whispered hanging her head in shame.

Itaka frowned "I'm fine...." he said squinting at the new figure "So....it's you"
The black man nodded "Ya it's been a long time Itaka" he said.
Itaka laughed heartily and stepped in as both men pulled themselves into a hug patting each other on the back "Barbaros you old dog what the hell are you doing here?!" he asked.
Barbaros smirked "Whatcha think brudda I came out here looking for you, y'know word on the street is you and pipsqueak over there are dead....though considering how mad his girl is he might be soon enough" he said glancing at the dazed Oassu and the weeping girl on top of him. "She only hurts him cause she cares ya?" he sighed.
Jenna dried her tears and hugged Oassu "He is my friend but he could have at least wrote to me I was worried sick about him" she moped.
Gilgamesh's head tilted curiously "Wait...you mean you weren't planning on fighting them to the glorious death?" he asked tending to a shocked Enkidu.
Sophia looked up at Mari and shook the teddy bear and knife questioningly. Mari shook her head and scooped her up "So...are you like friends or something?" she asked the newcomers.
Zadina hugged Corella "Don't feel bad this took us all by surprise" he whispered back before floating towards the group again "I don't think they are going to cause much trouble anyway..." he told her.

Seph sighed and relaxed a little "You know, it would have been a whole lot better if you told us you guys knew eachother" she complained folding her arms huffishly. "Still whats that guy doing here? He was up in the mountains two days ago" she asked jabbing her finger in the direction of gilgamesh.
Alpha shook his head leaing back against the wall "Sorry Satoshi, looks like we are going to have to wait another day to find out the outcome of our bet. Anyhow are those two from your guild back home or something?" he asked examining the strangers.
Hebal stared at the people they had encountered lowering her spear slightly. "You guys are friends... my mistake" she muttered calmly turning to Itaka "Hey aren't you going to at least introduce us to eachother" she suggested still feeling slightly confused

Felina frowned taking a step back from Oassu and Jenna, who she had found rather intimidating on their first meeting. "I can sort of understand why you're mad. Him not writing to you must have caused a lot of worry but if you keep doing stuff like that he would end up in a bad state" she told her avoiding eye contact.
Satoshi groaned putting her kunai away. "You all know each other? It's a shame because that would mean there is little action to be had here" she pouted looking down at her nails and taking a nail file out "Let me know when all the happy little reunions are over" she added no longer taking an interest in the strangers.
Corella stumbled forward still shaking "I hope not. I'm just not strong enough to stand up to most people yet" she whispered with a sigh. "I don't get it? Why did you guys have to come up and surprise us? Couldn't you just have said hello?" she questionned nervously

Barbaros pointed his finger at Corella "Thats what I said!!" he laughed.
Itaka rolled his eyes "Let me explain, Jenna is a friend of Oassu's and his second in command, same with Barbaros here, he and I go way back."
Barbaros clapped him on the shoulder "My brutha from anotha motha, oh Scarlet baked you these cookies by the way" he said pulling out a small basket and passing it to Itaka.
"We're grateful how is she these days?" Itaka asked peeking at the cookies.
"Pregnant, 5th on the way" Barbaros chuckled "Oh congratulations man! But what are you doing all the way out here...an why is he here" Itaka said jerking his head to Gilgamesh.
Jenna hugged Oassu tighter "I'm just glad your not dead and don't worry I have some potions on me" she said getting up and helping Oassu up.
"It's um...good to see you again Jen" he said dizzily.
Barbaros rolled his eyes at the group "Well General Alex outlawed the thieves guild and united them under his influence declaring you two dead so we set out to find you." he nodded at Gilgamesh "We found him in a forest he said you were heading to some library and he'd show us the way. We saw your ship leaving and followed suit."
Zadina raised an eyebrow "You got here awfully fast if you were racing an airship."
Barbaros nodded "Yeah thats because I've got a bad a** bike" he said lifting a bush aside revealing the most bad-a** bike Zadina had ever seen.
Itaka smirked "Still got that thing I see."
Barbaros leaned into Itaka "I leant Jenna one of your chocobo's...she's quite good with it" he said.
Jenna nodded "Yeah Boco is a brilliant steed" she said whistling causing a proud powerful stud of a black chocobo with a lance and bags straddled across it's back to come out of the bushes. Jenna instantly gave it a hug and it warked happily "He's a good chocobo I've grown quite fond of him"
Gilgamesh sighed putting his swords away "Very well I can see I won't be fighting them today." he grumbled.
Mari giggled patting Satoshi on the shoulder "I'm sure Gilgamesh will still want a fight after all this Satoshi" she reassured her.

Seph reached out to pet the chocobos beak "Nice to meet you guys. It's a cute bird and Itaka has bred some really good chocobos from what I have seen" she stated pulling some greens out of her bag to feed Boco "That reminds me, we should go and make sure Chobi is ok with Hayate." she added scratching her head.
Alpha nodded taking in the new information "Nice to meet you guys. I'm guessing you won't be able to turn home now that Alex has taken it over. Maybe the elves will give you somewhere to stay for a while and congrats about the kids sir" he added politely but wanting to keep conversation to a minimum.
Hebal grinned putting her spear away and grabbed hold of both Jenna and Barbaros's hands. "Nice to meet you guys I'm Hebal and I hope you have been enjoying your stay in the elves village with their being so many beautiful flowers" she chirped giving their hands a good shake.

Felina sighed cautiously approaching the black chocobo "Sounds like you've had a rough time. Don't worry about Oassu, I can probably completely heal is injuries if given 5 minutes to concentrate." she reassured Jenna patting the top of Boco's head. She walked over to Oassu placing her hand upon the top of his head "Is it still hurting" she asked.
Satoshi yawned continuing to file her nails "yeah yeah chocobos are great and the bike is awesome, but I'm more interested about what Alex is up to right now. When was the last time you saw him?" she asked bluntly then suddenly scratched her head "You know we probably saw him last so forget it" she grumbled.
Corella smiled weakly at Barbaros and bowed "Nice to see somebody sees sense. I'm Corella it's nice to meet you... I think" she introduced herself shyly moving towards Zadina. "What do you think of these people. I don't know what it is but they scare me a little" she whispered into his ear.

Oassu nodded "It's fine now" he turned to the group "Don't worry about Jenna she gets a little excitable but shes a good girl" he said dizzily only for Jenna to glomp him around the neck when he wasn't looking "The best girl!" she cheered.
Zadina smiled meekly "I'm Zadina pleased to meet you" he said shyly "I don't know I'm a little scared of them too but Gilgamesh is a good man...he's a hero you know?" he told Corella.
Jenna dropped down from Oassu to shake Hebal's hand "Thank you Hebal its nice to meet you, don't worry about us we're staying in the inn's we come across, Alex mighta frozen our assets but we still get some money" she reassured them.
Itaka and Oassu frowned "He did what now?" they sighed. Itaka shook his head dismissing it.
Gilgamesh grumbled "Well since this whole quest seems to have changed I think I will go back to the inn." he said storming off.
Barbaros called after him while shaking Hebal's hand "Lighten up a little! It's a pleasure to meet ya" he said to Hebal before putting an arm around Itaka and pulling him into a nougie.
"Ugh come on Barbaros knock it off!" he said grabbing his arm and twisting and tossing Barbaros to the ground. "You've not changed a bit" he said rubbing his head anyway this is Seph and this is Alpha" he said indicating the two demons.
Barbaros pushed himself up from the ground laughing "Yeah its a pleasure to meet you too and yea Itaka has bred some good chocobo's its one of his passions" he said rolling his eyes.
Mari bowed to both of them "My name is Mari its a pleasure to meet the both of you." Sophia waved from the bag "And this is Sophia" she giggled.
Jenna and Barbaros leaned over squinting curiously in disbelief at the tonberry, "Ugh salutations Mari" Barbaros said uncertainly. Jenna nodded meekly "Yeah.....hi...." she said

Seph rolled her eyes at Gilgamesh making a rude gesture at him when he wasn't looking. "That guy may be a hero to you but to me he is still just an annoying sword collector" she told Zadina wiping the dirt off one of her hands leaving the chocobo to eat.
Alpha scratched the back of his head "It kinda makes sense that Alex would freeze the assets. Money gets power and an army if you have enough of it, bah hes no friend of ours. Oh yea and don't mind the tonberry, she has never used a proper knife so is harmless for now" he added patting Sophia on the head.
Hebal smiled shaking Jenna's hand a little longer before letting go "Is the inn ok? We are all staying in the palace so we haven't had the chance to look around most places like that" she asked jumping with fright then looked behind her only to see that Cid had hopped onto her shoulder.

Felina rolled her eyes at Jenna picking Cid up from Hebal's shoulder. "Oh sorry I didn't introduce myself, my name is Felina and this little guy is my pet Cid. I hope you are enjoying your stay here" she informed them politely before tickling the rabbit under his chin and placing him into her bag.
Satoshi glanced over in the direction of the others, her gaze following gilgamesh storm off. "Oh yea I'm Satoshi nice to meet you and stuff" she waved to them standing up straight. "So what do you want to do next?" she asked feeling slightly impatient for being on the same spot for more than 5 minutes.
Corella scratched her head rubbing Boco's head "Say, who did that gold one belong to I saw with you guys before? Was it yours?" she asked directing her question at Seph before shuffling back towards Zadina. "Are you sure that guy was a hero? He seemed funny looking to me and reminds me for some reason of Elithana" she whispered into his ear.

Zadina chirped "He's a great hero from the Epic of Gilgamesh! Brave and true...we just kinda kicked him for miles earlier so he's not too pleased" he said nervously.
Oassu rubbed his head "Ok Jenna but what are you doing all the way out here?" he asked "Ugh lets keep walking you can explain on the way" he said walking again.
Jenna hopped onto boco shifting her lance to the side slightly before padding along beside Oassu "We came to get you two silly! The thieves guild has been overrun and we need to bring you two back to help" she blushed slightly "Also I....I was thinking maybe something bad had happened to you and had to see for myself"
Barbaros nodded "Thats right a got a letter from you so we knew you couldn't be dead so me an Jenna set out to find ya, we'd have brought us more but only a small group could escape without suspicion we picked up Gilgamesh on the way but now we've found ya you'll be able to come back and it'll be just like old times." he said "The inn's here are fine, we can't be picky anyway living on the road" he told Hebal
Itaka rubbed the back of his head taking a cookie from the basket "Y'see the thing is I can't go back yet" he glanced at Seph then at Oassu and Felina "I've got other commitments to keep."
Mari patted Corella on the shoulder "Don't worry about him, he's good really" he told her.

Seph sighed shaking her head and taking a step forward. "You'll have to go back there someday. We will all need to go if we are to take care of Alex and Neliel but right now. We still aren't strong enough physically and in number to just storm in and restore everything to the way it was" she pointed out gazing up at the tops of the trees.
Alpha shurgged leaning in closer to Itaka "We haven't got anywhere planned to visit after this place if you want to go back with them for a while, though it might be dangerous" he whispered to Alpha stealing a cookie from the basket.
Hebal frowned "No need to worry Felina has been keeping us all safe and injury free. But is it really that bad in the city? Then again Alex isn't a very nice guy. Still what happened to the rest of the people who escaped?" she asked rubbing the tip of her ear.

Felina laughed shaking her head "I haven't had to heal you guys all that much" she answered modestly walking along on the other side of Oassu. "Are you wanting to go back with those guys?" she whispered to him nervously.
Satoshi scratched her head thinking over what the others had said."It's true that we haven't planned anything special after our visit here so I don't see why we can't go but Seph kinda has a point about Alex. Why don't you let us give it some thought" she argued calmly continuing down the path slightly.
Corella giggled poking Zadina on the nose "Don't be silly. To kick somebody miles away you would need to be several hundred feet taller and you are nowhere near as big as him. Maybe you have just been reading too many books while you've been away" she chriped

Oassu bit his lip "I dunno, Alex kinda charmed us last time, I'm not sure we could fight him yet," he told her.
Zadina wriggled his nose poking Corella back "Your the silly one Oassu was almost a hundred foot when he booted Gilgamesh away" he told her.
Barbaros appeared quite taken aback by this news "Hmm..I see...is there something you gotta do first mon?" he asked Itaka.
Itaka folded his arms "Well I wouldn't mind not fighting for a little while but yea I suppose we were considering going on the hunt for longevity items" he told Barbaros.
Barbaros glanced at the others before leaning into Itaka and whispering "But I thought you...uh...were already set for that" he whispered quietly.
Itaka pushed him away "Not for me, for him" he said jerking his thumb at Oassu "He and Felina are quite taken with each other and we might need to find something to boost his life," he said.
Barbaros smiled "Ah...I see now" he glanced at Hebal "Well a few like us have formed a resistance but really Alex isn't oppressing anyone its just he's controlling everything, theres almost nothing going down in the city that he doesn't know about."
Jenna padded up alongside Barbaros "So are you ok to go then?" she asked the others.

Seph turned her head in the direction of Jenna and Barbaros. "I take it you're coming with us then? I dunno about Gilgamesh but maybe we could get you two into the palace... provided you don't steal too much" she told them with a snicker, imagining Jenna stealing knives and forks from the dinner table.
Hebal smiled weakly hopping along down the path again and kicking a few more leaves out the way "It could be a whole lot worse then if he isn't doing any oppressing. In about 5 minutes or so you'll get to meet the last member of our group. He's a little stiff but nice" she cheered skipping on the spot for the others to catch up.
Alpha smirked shaking his head at Hebal "She gets a little excited and over enthusiastic at times" he whispered to Barbaros and gave Boco a pat on the head before turning to continue down the path. "She is right about our friend though" he added burning the remaining leaves on the path into ash.
