Focht waited, not wanting to rush the explaination. She was doing better and had finally figured out about her injuries. His ears twitched alittle as he let his mind wander a moment as she thought.

*She looked over at him when she finally finished compiling her thoughts, so she could try to make some sense*
"Well, I guess the simplest way to put it would be to say that it's a soul detachment"
*She started and seemed to think a moment more before speaking again*
"When I think for a long period of time, or am given something to contemplate that rattles my brain, my soul just detaches and goes off while I'm stuck in thought mode. It's strange really, it never used to happen, but then it started to all of a sudden"
*She shook her head remembering past occurrences*
"My skin will turn blue, my eyes seem to loose all source of life and my body will go limp for the most part, but my body is amazingly still able to protect itself, though it takes a long while before it'll move, one hell of a live saving mechanism... I'll be dead before my body reacts"
*She laughed in a saddened tone as she thought a little more about the last time it happened and what could've happened if he had not been there to wake her up from the nightmare of that detachment*

The sound of clinking armor glided through the cool evening air as Kahlendria dropped to her knees, and flipped up the visor of her helm. Her gloved hand soon found the string holding her mask, and hooking her finger around it she yanked downwards roughly to pull it aside. Tears stung her eyes as they formed, only to spill and roll over her flushed cheeks. She felt herself gag first, the dreadful feeling soon being followed by the sound of her vomiting.

It hurt, burning her dry throat. The sight of it, the smell, none of it was at all remotely normal. Pulling herself away from the bloody mess she limped back towards her sword. She'd been there for quite some time, living off odd plants and cleaning herself in what natural ponds she could find scattered about. Collapsing next to her sword with a heavy sigh, she tilted her head back and breathed in deeply. She felt a sharp pain inside her body, probably the start of an infection. Knowing her luck, it would probably be something fatal.

Tegral's boots thudded on the cold earth of the forest, his luke warm breath making billowed whisp infront of his mouth, and cracked twigs and small plants under the weight of heavy weapons. Normally he didn't have to eat, but right now he was popping sweet red berries into his mouth, savoring the sweet juices as they slid down his throat. He kept sharp tabs on his scanners, despite the seemingly calm external appearance, watching for energy fluxuations, abnormal heat signatures, and various echo patterns. What did he expect to find? Really...his scanners would show no one there until they were right ontop of him, despite being a high-tech weapon designed to hunt and kill people! They use the excuse of magic to shield them! What a load of bull s**t.

She was a woman in a forest in armor with a sword. Everything there was to be read could be and would be. She wasn't magical, she never had any use for magic. She usually got along just fine with her sword, and maybe just a tiny dash of spice here and there.

Sighing, she slipped her helm off and sat it in her lap. Her gloved hand then slipped the medical mask back into place, and she placed the helm back on, letting the visor slide down. She was sitting at the base of a tree, her burdened breaths filling the air with the smell of...decay.

It wasn't a strong singal, but Tegral caught it regardless. A faltering life signal baring due east. Hmm, what to do? What to do? Oh why not, maybe just for fun. His smirk turned into a smile as he adjusted his course, hardly breaking stride. Not too far, only about half a mile. At Tegral's current speed it wouldn't take him much more than 15 minutes, 20 tops, to approach the target.

His approach could have been heard by the deaf, him pushing over small shrubs that got in his way, walking through bushes, and crushing anything under tow. He kept his hands in his pockets, the long sleeves of his coat hideing his arms. Most everyone knew he was a machine, regardless if he'd ever met them or not, but he still felt like he had to hide the fact, because he was just that way!

Crashing, crunching. Probably a bear, it was after all a forest. Kahlendria didn't move, she was sick, and tired. The bear could go die for all she cared. Instead of getting up, she simply reached over and grabbed a hold of her sword. She at least wanted it in her grip.

Tegral's body materialized from the darkness off to Kahlendria's left, yet still within her vision. The last thing you wanted to do was approach a cornered opponent from an angel where they couldn't see you. Then they felt as if they were being hunted. His voice came out cold and metalic, his bio-scanners running over Kahlendria's body, "Who are you?"

"Who's asking" She replied, coughing once more. Her chest heaved, and she felt as though she were going to die. Her eyes were blinded by tears, and her muscles felt sluggish. It was a if each breath was labored, and as if each bit of air she got was as fresh as that in a dank cave. She felt like she had moss growing inside her chest.

"Who are you?" He asked again, his voice firm and cold.

Seeing no real value in argueing over a name, she looked up to try and make out some details about Tegral. "My name is Kahlendria...What about you stranger?" Normally she'd be wary of such a demanding man in a dark forest, but she felt that only the most desperate could be attracted to a dying woman.

"My name is Tegral, no more questions." Taking another step closer he activated the small shoulder mounted flashlight. The immediate area was bathed in a soft glow as energy surged into the machine. "What happened to you?" He asked, in that same firm voice. Scanners ran, locking onto viral infections or bacterial abnormalities. He looked her up and down, not really looking at her but rather looking for any external wounds.

She had no external wounds. Aside from the disease, she suffered from malnutrion. It wouldn't have been a problem, except that not much of what she ate was actually being digested properly. Her stomach was also slightly infected, though most of it seemed to be pressing on her lungs. It wouldn't be long until it pressed on her heart however. "That's a nice...light." Closing her eyes, she fought to stay awake. Her grip on her sword weakened, as she drifted in and out of conciousness.

Another step closer brought Tegral's legs into striking distance of Kahlendria's sword, however he was still a bit too far to actually hit her himself...unless he fired his cannon. "Again, what happened to you?" His light remained focus on the woman, Tegral's systems were trying to find the cause of the illness.

Her visor blocked most of the light from blinding her, as she coughed again. "Nothing...I just have..the flu or something." Pulling up her visor, she peeled away the blood-soaked doctormask, and spat onto the ground next to her. Her hand soon found a tuft of gass, and she yanked a handful of green blades free. Putting them into her mouth, she began to chew the grass, anything to get the taste of moldy blood outof her mouth.
