[OOC:] Poor Stars! yum_tea Diablo patted the head of his dragon, smiling back at Myra. "We're a couple minutes away, so you might wanna brace yourself."
Maria opened the door slowly and tilted her head. Shiro looked a little....off. She didn't know why. "Need anything?" she offered.

Myra blinked a little as she was told to brace herself. The princess cuddled up more to the demon, yawning cutely. "Braced."
Shiro glanced to her and quickly looked back to the window, feeling his face heat up a little. "Food. Anything's fine." he muttered, trying to stop blushing.

Diablo laughed a little and hugged the princess before the carriage stopped. Before he could open the door, though, a woman with long black hair and bright blue eyes opened the door. "Diablo Montez you did not tell me you were coming to visit, nor that you were bringing a girl home!" his mother said, before practically dragging both Diablo and Myra from the carriage. She pulled them into a ginormous hug and laughed. "But I'm happy that you came, anyways! Happy birthday!"
Maria raised her eyebrows as Shiro didn't look at her and shrugged. Sure she'd get him food, but she'd also look into getting some sort of head shrink... He had problems. So she told him she'd be back, and left the room. She wondered what his favorite food was... Maybe his grandfather would know. So she then turned her thoughts to where the older raven would be.

Myra jumped as Diablo's mother threw the door open and dragged them out. Well she was wide awake now... And of course that hug was crushing. "M-Ma'am... M-Ma'am... I-I can't breathe..." she wheezed. The two little dragons in her coat poked their heads out and the little white fluffy one, hers, bit the woman's arm. Myra was mortified. "Ah! I-I'm sorry!"
Shiro's grandfather seemed to just be getting up as he was standing right next to her. "Good morning, miss. Did you sleep well?" he asked, smiling softly.

Diablo struggled to get out of his mother's hug, and when the dragon bit her, she finally let go. Instead of being mad, though, she looked at the little fluffy thing and cooed at it, "Aren't you so cute! Where in the world did you find something like that?" Diablo rubbed the back of his neck, wishing he could have stopped this meeting before it happened.
Maria turned as the elder raven appeared as she was thinking of him. "Er, yes, I did. Excuse me, but I was wondering what sort of food Shiro would like?"

Myra caught the dragon as it let go of the woman, cuddling back up to Myra. She then blushed embarrasedly. "I-I made it."
The man smiled and stroked his beard a little. "He seems to be favoring stews and noodles as of late. Not that I blame him. Easiest food to eat when you're in pain and tired."

The demon raised her eyebrows before smacking Diablo's arm. Hard. "You, young man, need to start writing me letters when you find gems like her. I would have had so much more prepared! Shame on you!" Diablo grimaced a little before his mother hugged him again, almost making his eyes popped out. "Mom, you don't even know her name yet." "Well what is it?" she demanded, putting her hands on her hips and pursing her lips. Diablo put his arm around Myra and smiled a little, hoping he was safe now. "This is Myra. Myra, this is my mother."
Maria nodded, understanding that. "And, um, which way is the marketplace?" she asked, feeling rather stupid.

Myra gently placed a hand on his, meaning she'd try to protect him better. She then bowed to the mother demon. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
The old raven smiled wider and pointed to the front door. "A few feet out the door. You can't miss it. Just follow your nose."

The mother demon grinned at Myra. "Look at you, Diablo! Bringing home a nice, adorable, well-mannered girl. Oh, your aunt will be so jealous. Wait until you meet who your cousin Jacob brought home. Myra, dear, don't think that I'm using you for a competition. We always knew that Diablo would bring home a sweetheart like you, but his cousin, well. Enough said. Let's get you two inside and fed, shall we!" A pair of servants came and started to unload the carriage while Diablo's mother led the two inside, commenting on how cute they were together, and how it was so romantic that they'd met at school.
Maria thanked the raven and set off. He was right, she couldn't miss the marketplace. Though she was immediately entranced by it, she didn't spend time to wander, instead finding a noodle stand and debating over what to order. The man at the stand eyed her cautiously, before asking where she was staying. She frowned and nodded towards the house she'd just come from. The man's eyes widened and he asked how she knew Shiro, which she thought was a ridiculous question, but since he was already making an order, clearly for Shiro, she answered that she'd met him at school. The man didn't ask anything else, and she paid for the noodles before returning to the house. She knocked briefly on Shiro's door. "Food," she said through the door.

Myra just blushed a little and stayed close to Diablo as they were dragged inside. She was rather hungry, but all this was getting a little embarrassing...
Shiro sat up, hearing Maria at the door. He got out of bed and opened it, taking the food. "Thanks. I'll be sure to pay you back." he said, already starting to eat. He was starving!

[OOC:] That moment when you realize you have no homework and that Harvard wants your application.... Diablo held onto Myra protectively, knowing full well what his family could be like. The first thing that happened when they stepped inside was a little girl about seven years old launched herself at her older brother. Diablo smiled and twirled the girl around, before hugging her. "Myra, this is Cici, Cici, Myra." The little girl blinked dark brown eyes at Myra, then smiled and waved. "Hi! You're pretty...Are you a princess?"
Maria shook her head. "Don't bother," she said, standing there kind of awkwardly. She wasn't sure what to do now.

Myra smiled at the little girl. They looked so alike. They must be siblings. So she glanced around and made sure Diablo's mother was out of earshot. "Don't tell your mom, but I actually am. But it's our little secret, k?" she asked kindly, smiling brightly at the child.
Shiro munched on his noodles before looking back at Maria. "So.... What do you want to do?"

[OOC:] yum_puddi Diablo's sister stared wide-eyed at Myra before squealing and bouncing up and down in her brother's arms. She reached out and hugged Myra, then hugged her brother again. "If you marry Diablo, does that make me a princess, too?" she asked, making Diablo shush her and avoid looking at Myra.
Maria raised an eyebrow and shrugged. "I don't look like I know, do I?"

Myra giggled softly at the girl. She was so cute. "Let's go catch up okay? It's the first time I've been here. I'd like to see the rest. Right Diablo?" she asked cutely, the dragons peeking out from her pocket.
Shiro looked to her still. "Ya kinda look like you haven't got a clue in the world."

[OOC:] Well, I'm applying at least. Cici giggled and nodded. Diablo smiled at her, then Myra, and jerked his head towards a set of stairs. "Let's start there. I'll find you a guest room."
Maria rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Thanks," she said sarcastically. He seemed to be better now, with sleep and food. She wondered, though, how much pain he was really in.
