*pulls self out of pull and then helps her up*
*grabs a towel from a nearby chair and hands it to her before getting one*
*rubs hair first then starts drying off ther rest of body, throwing towel over shoulder and wringing water out of trunks*
*after a moment, stands beside her, eyes downcast and asks in a quiet voice* Do you wanna come over and stay the night at my place?

*Smok slept overnight at the pet spa, then when Amy brought Thistle in to work with her, he played all day with her. When Amy went home, Smok followed them, knowing that he'd get a good meal at Karrie's house.

*Kits laid back on the blanket that she'd spread on the grass earlier that afternoon on top of the hill. She, Rod, Karrie, Amy, and Mitri had spent the evening up there, celebrating the Fourth of July. Various pets had also been there on and off, as Kits' dragons liked to wander off, and Thistle and Hiro had been fighting over who got to sit on Mitri's lap. Karrie had made dinner for all of them, and when it got dark, they'd set off some small fireworks that Kits had brought. Karrie, Amy, and Mitri had gone home a little earlier, taking Velcore, Thistle, and Hiro with them. Kits' dragons hadn't been around for a while, so she assumed they'd found places to sleep for the night* People are still setting fireworks off... *ears twitch as she hears another in the distance* They'll probably be doing it all night.

No, not at all. *nuzzles her cheek before kissing it* It's a perfect night for camping out under the stars. *whispers to her again* Happy Independence Day, Kits. *reaches up and gently tilts her face towards, then gives her a soft, sweet kiss before turning back to the fireworks*
