Well I have posted... it is your turn Ava!
@ I still agree with Avalon on the missions, complete waste of time; Contrast, the Bingo missions is what everyone is going to go for... seeing as you get lines/ryo/items from the dead folks.....
And Missions are locked due to not having a Kage.... thus it's super epic fail....you should fix that Mods..

And Missions are locked due to not having a Kage.... thus it's super epic fail....you should fix that Mods.. You both super epic fail. Kage's don't lock missions, as you can always ask a Mod instead since we NPC Kages. That's what those two from Fire did, but of course not everyone reads the actual full rules. They just get a jist and go on. I wont bother rebutting the rest as I'm just bored and tired, plus I'd only be repeating DBL. So.... Meh. In other news... I have no other news. So ciao? o-o

psh. I would accept that point, cept for the fact that all pertinent information to a subject should be placed in a manner where its accessible from its point of origin. In the rules for missions, in the missions thread it does not once say anything about 'if your village doesn't have a kage, contact a mod responsible for controlling NPC kage activity' it says only this Aquiring a Mission: To acquire a mission simply pm your kage. You may only complete certain missions so many times and, depending on your rank within your village, may only attempt certain missions.
yea I posted, Oasis isn't after you right now, the rabbit talked her out of it for now, cause she needs to do her turn in the arena.
anyway, I'm cookin with a fever I'm fairly sure at least, so I'm gonna bug out prolly. I have classes tomorrow an this is not lookin good lol.

Consider it a Golden Rule of thumb, a Mod can give permission for nigh anything. I'd think common sense would dictate if you didn't have a player kage that a mod would take it's place sine mods control NPC's not made by the characters themselves.
That aside we may just remove the "request" in the first place since they don't draw from village funds at all and already have the limitations for accepting them as is. (If you complete one and didn't have the requirements though, then to bad no update for completing it since rules where broken).
That said 120 is only -12% this means if you have 0 in the pertanent stat and 0 buffs to apply to the stat you'd still have a 38% chance, remember 0 is impossible for a low level player, so your looking, at absolute worse, a 37% chance (if you have 1-2pts in the stat and 0 buffs). This is a genin ranked character that is attempting to do something they're horrid at.... so they would be expected to fail more often than not. Example, a nin that's good at combat but cant find his own shoes isn't going to do well on a mission that requires tracking and no combat.
You must judge these off statistics, not look at a series of bad rolls and go "see, it's not balanced", because you could equally take a skewed series where player keeps rolling unnaturally well and say "see, it's to easy"... Instead we can only scale these fairly by taking a general average. So let's take the characters average stats. The sets are 40, 30, 20, 20 So let's assume that the 40 is going to the resistance (since that's your Chakra / Stamina, etc) and 30 is going to the style you want to focus on. Divide it by 3 (unlikely) and you're getting 10 per stat or a +2% making that chance a 40% success rate.
Consider then that you have 3 people (if you have a proper team) making this check, and only ONE needs to succeed (in the mission you used as an example) and your chance of success (assuming we're getting that same 40% average) rises to a 52% chance that one of your members will succeed. Again this is with 0 buffs from items or jutsu... a team with no one that's actually good at the mission you choose to take.
---They're garbage: That said, yes, the rewards for the D rank missions are low... saying they're a waste of time though is a bit of a joke. Role play out the same number of lines outside of a mission and regardless of what you roll you are going to get equal (if you would have failed the mission) or less out of it (if you succeeded) making them still far better than standard rp'ing outside a mission. Not extreme power ups, but again they're the lowest rank, and they're not supposed to be.
At this point these rewards are likely to garner more than fighting, because at this level anyone you fight is bound not to do well. There are exceptions (such as yourself Ava, and Wolf) but those are rather "extreme" circumstances where your playing a genin at nigh god like strength. -----------------------------------------------------------
Now I'll go judge that fight. Ele proposed some higher rank missions a while back I believe, I'll see about getting those up. The higher the ranked the missions clearly the more valuable their rewards will be. They'll be going from giving you a few levels of an item to several to somewhere in the 10-20 levels, etc.

New fight is unlocked.
I'll move onto dealing with missions (ie simply removing the "pm your kage" requirement)

One new mission up that Ele had made a while back. Slightly modified but for the most part in its original format.

@dbl: Although it's pretty dead right now, I just noticed that Grace is a public guild all of the sudden. Some guy randomly started a profile before he was accepted or anything.
btw, I declined him, his reason for entering was "cool" =
edit: yea, and he looks to be pretty illiterate too... I didn't bother deleting his profile, so you can take a look if you want
