MISSION- A Planner for a Scanner
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to the Abandoned Ship and get the scanner.

I decided to go on a mission, and went to look at the mission’s board. I looked for I wanted to go and do. I found one: A Planner for a Scanner. I looked at the time and saw that it was early, about 3 in the morning. I grabbed a box of donuts, and started eating them as I walked out the door.
The water was about 5 miles away. The trip was made easier with my bike, and I left it on the shore, thinking about coming back for it later.
I got to the water, and I looked out over the vast sea. I thought I knew where the ship was, and threw a Pokeball, from which Carvanha appeared. I hopped on it, and finished the last donut in the box, throwing it into the sea.
I headed in the direction of the Abandoned Ship, and about 15 minutes later, I realized I had gone the wrong way. I turned around in circles, and knew I was lost.
I headed this way and that in the next 30 minutes, and then I heard a loud horn. I looked up and saw a huge ship, heading right towards me.
I told Carvanha to swim as fast as it could or it wouldn’t make it out of the mission in one piece. Carvanha got the hint, and swam away from the oncoming ship, while I yelled for them to stop.
They couldn’t hear me over the loud horn, but I took a rope from my pack and threw it up over the ship, and the sailors took notice. They ran over to the rope and looked over the edge of the ship. All they saw was a boy crawling up the rope.
The sailors tried to help me up, and they pulled on the rope, which made me go faster. In no time I was up on the ship with my Pokeball out. I returned Carvanha and staggered over, trying to find a bed, before I was knocked down by the ship’s speed.
I looked up and saw hundreds of faces spinning in my head for about 10 seconds, then everything went black.

I woke up a couple hours later, and when I did, one of the sailors gave me a glass of water. I took the cup greedily and drunk the water.
When I tried to sit up, the sailor forced me back down. I rolled off the bed and stood up, only to feel a pain in my left leg.
I looked down at my left leg and saw a giant rash there. I asked the sailor what had happened and how I had gotten that rash. He told me that is was from the rope I was climbing.
I lie back down and let another sailor tend to the rash, wincing slightly as he put some bandages over it. I tried to go back to sleep, and within a couple of minutes, I was sound asleep.

When I woke up hours later, I went outside of the cabin I was in, and I saw a beautiful sunset. I sat there staring at it for a couple minutes, mesmerized by its beauty. When a sailor came out and sat right next to me, I snapped back into it. I asked him where the Abandoned Ship was. He told me, and I went to the edge and stared in its direction. He asked me why. I told him the answer. He gasped. “No one has ever done it before!” hw exclaimed
“I know. That’s why I must attempt it.” I said. I went inside to rest for the night, as I needed a good night’s sleep for the next day.

When I woke up the next morning, I let them feed me breakfast, then stole some of their food for my journey. I planned to leave at 10 AM, when they were out on their little fishing boats.



It was finally 10. It took long enough to get there, but no I was ready. I walked to the edge, sent out Carvanha, and told it to check if there were any rocks at the bottom. It dived under to check.
A few minutes later, it came up, shaking its head. I walked to the other side, prepared to run, and finally started.
As I ran, I thought, ‘Is this really a good idea?’ I didn’t have time to change my mind, and before I knew it, I jumped.
I started falling, first slowly, then beginning to pick up speed. I hit the water in a perfect dive, and jumped on Carvanha’s back.
Carvanha started to maneuver around rocks in its way, and only skimmed a few of them. I lie back and started to rest.

Later that night, I found that Carvanha was tired. I told it to pull up to a large rock, and it did, so I jumped on it. I returned Carvanha, and told it to take a good rest.
I sat up on the rock all night, not tired at all, as I had gotten some sleep earlier on the ride. I just sat there, wondering when I was going to get to the Abandoned Ship. I fell asleep while wondering that.

I woke up, feeling refreshed. I sent out Carvanha, and it was refreshed too. I jumped on its back, and we started moving again.
I didn’t go to sleep this time, I crouched down on Carvanha’s back, looking straight ahead. I urged Carvanha to go faster, and pretty soon I could see something blurry in the distance. I was sure that was the Abandoned Ship, so I knew Carvanha was on a good pace.

We got there within 2 hours. I jumped onto the edge of the ship, letting the salt water slosh into my sneakers. I returned Carvanha, knowing it had done a great job, getting me there in 2 days. I knew it deserved a good rest.
I stood there and realized I hadn’t seen any Pokemon in the sea. I wondered why, but pretty soon I got my answer. I giant Wailord loomed up to meet me. I yelled, and ran inside the ship.
A few seconds later, I felt the ship rock. I grabbed on to the nearest doorknob, and the door flew open.
I looked inside the door, and saw the Scanner sitting on the table. After the next shake, I saw it fall off and go down the drain. “NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed. I tried to dive after it and send Treecko down the hole, but the next shake also had a rumble to it. I rolled over to the wall, and the table nearly fell on top of me.
The shakes went on for about 5 minutes, then everything stopped. All was quiet, and the ship was at peace.
“Treecko go and find that scanner!” I said, throwing Treecko’s Pokeball. Treecko materialized right in front of me.
“Treecko Treecko!” Treecko said, ready to find it for me. Treecko jumped down the drain, determined to come back successfully.
I sat there waiting for about 20 minutes, and then I saw a Feebas poke its head above all the water in the ship. I stared at it, and then it pulled its head below the surface again. It came up again, slowly, and then popped its head below the surface again. I felt a ripple in the water, then saw the Feebas charging right at me from underwater.
“Duskull go!” I said. Duskull appeared right in front of me. “Use Confuse Ray!”
Duskull used Confuse Ray, which hit Feebas straight in the face, causing it to see lots of things. It slapped itself, trying to get unconfused, but it just kept hitting itself.
Finally it stopped and speeded straight towards me again. “Duskull use Night Shade!” The attack hit, and Feebas sat there, jerking around as if something was on it, and then it used Water Pulse.
The attack hit Duskull, sending it flying backwards. It hit the wall and fell to the ground, but managed to get up. “Duskull use Attract!” I yell.
Duskull uses Attract, and suddenly Feebas is attracted to it. It won’t see anything hurt Duskull. While Feebas is in its trance, I tell Duskull to use Return, which it gladly used and hit Feebas for a ton of damage, but which knocked it out of the trance.
“Feebas!” it said angrily. It speeded right towards Duskull, but flipped out of the water and used Water Pulse. The attack hit Duskull, but it was sent flying out of the room. I followed, as did Feebas.
“Duskull are you OK?” I asked.
“Du-Dusk-ull.” it said. It got up very slowly and used Night Shade behind me. The attack hits the Feebas, and I turn around, pulling a Pokeball with me. I throw it, and it hits Feebas, enveloping it in a red light.

Shake, shake, shake.
Shake, shake, shake.
Shake, shake, shake.
Ding!

I had caught the Feebas, and I heard a faint noise from the room I had just come from. I walked back in, and saw the Scanner sitting there, with Treecko trying to get through the bars.
I returned Treecko, and took the Scanner, running outside to see the sun high in the sky. I hopped on Carvanha again, and started the long trip back to HQ.

I found my way back to shore, got my bike, and started to ride back to HQ.

I personally think it's gonna be a pass from the beginning, but I'm not sure.

Btw Brian, would it also count as a mission for Carvanha and Treecko, or just Duskull since he was the only one who battled?

Me: OK Sports, we're heading to Mt. Moon.
*Takes off my coat and calls out Aerodactyl*

Me: sweatdrop Yeah I think you have a point... grab him.
*Aerodactyl swoops down and grabs you by the arms and we fly to Kanto*

*We arrive at Mt. Moon a short while ther after and Aerodactyl floats in one spot ten feet above the ground and drops Sport*

*Jumps off Aerodactyl and returns her*
Me: Now let's see...
*Starts looking at my surroundings*
