[Mosstar jumped off the high rock, feeling the cool leaf-bare breeze ruffling her raven, black fur. Her golden eyes pierced with worry and anger as she gazed in the distance ahead of her, feeling the uncomforting tension go down her spine.] "Those snakes...let's just wish to StarClan that they don't come..." Mosstar growled silently.
The thought of snakes only made her chill with disgust and fear. Not only did she hate them because of the harm they caused her clan, but their physical appearance just causes Mosstar's fur to perk. Their long tail like body, smooth scales and piercing eyes...just too much for Mosstar.
Before she was going to hurl, Mosstar decided not to think about those vile snakes, instead walked around the camp. She giggled at her son's furious reaction with Ravenwing. Suddenly something struck her, she didn't see a single glimpse of Foxfire around camp lately. Suspicion didn't bother Mosstar, knowing the warrior for a very long time. He was reliable.
((Just in case if everyone doesn't want to read this long post, it's just about Mosstar not liking snakes and how they freak her out. She is wondering where Foxfire is but isn't suspicious.))

She smiled at her freind Spottedpaw as she headed off with her mentor. Immediately after she felt her stomach grumble and she growled in response. Her amber gaze glanced over to the small fresh kill pile and she quickly turned her nose up to it.] I dont need that, i will earn my own food. Besides, the rest of the clan could use some more. [She got up and padded over to the river's edge, craving the taste of fish. She glared intently at the thick layer of ice that covered the freezing cold water. With her paws firmly planted on the edge she began to claw at the surface to dig a hole in the ice. When she could see the splashing of water she looked in to find no fish anywhere. She scoffed as she turned and continued to dig through the ice and snow.]

The white warrior fur lit up with pride "finally my very own apprentice!" he thought looking at the sky. his gaze seem to stop at the warriors freezeshadow and ravenwing "oh great what did kittypet do now" he thought tilting his head. "sunpaw! where are ya?" he called out but he couldn't see the golden tom . he saw a fiery pelt along the river "dragonfire, what are you doing?" he asked as he padded up to her looking down at the black churning water. "ya know there's not going to be much fish around its to cold" he mewed amusement flickered in his eyes.

[Ravenwing glanced around slightly, only to see the white furred warrior gazing mockingly at him. His ears twitched as he realised that Cloudfur probably didn't think too highly of him - not that he blamed the white furred warrior, really. It wasn't his choice to be caught and kept as a kittypet though! He sniffed as he decided to go for a hunt, after all he had to see whether his skills had declined or not. As he trotted through the forest, he noticed a certain gladiator's flaming pelt, as well as...ugh, Cloudfur's white pelt. Giving himself a quick lick to make sure he looked presentable, he amiably made his way to the two warriors.
"Well, there IS fish even though it's cold, we just can't get to it. ((o really? Didnt know that. I thought that since it was thin ice that if she pressed her wait against it while digging she could brake the ice. sweatdrop ))
[Dragonfire spun her sharp gaze around to face Cloudfur as he spoke to her with amusement in his voice. Her head wiped around Ravenwing also joined in to look into the hole she had made. ] "Well i know that now." [She said with a huff of defensiveness as she puffed out the fur and her chest as the two toms sat beside her.. She shifted her gaze, attempting to find any movement. Nothing, the snow remained still and silent. She grumbled and looked down at her white paws.] Is there nothing to eat anywhere!? I could try fishing in the hole in the ice but i dont want my paws to fall off. I wonder if there is any pray in the borders?

[Ravenwing smiled knowingly at Dragonfire's distress, and made his way silently to the river bank, sniffing very carefully. With his nose very close to the ground like a hound on a scent, he sniffed along the river bank for what seemed like a very long time. Finally, he stopped at a slightly sheltered spot beside the frozen river, a small hole covered by a dead log. He sniffed very carefully and quietly at the entrance of the hole, before peeking in stealthily.]
Aha, so my nose was right. Water voles are really plentiful at this time, around the river bank...
[He thought as he beckoned Dragonfire over with his tail, then pointed inside the hole - but without making a sound, for fear of waking the sleeping water vole up.]
(Water voles don't hibernate but they spend the whole winter in their holes by the river bank. Jaykit stumbled while walking across the springy grass. She felt the grass like they were blades against her skin. That's because she has lots of patches of missing fur. "I should've listened to you mother..." She whimpered in pain; both inside and out. The little gray kit walked for what seemed like moons, then smelled cats; and lots of them. "Where am I?" She asked before falling to the ground unconscious.

But it wasn't long before he saw the unconcious Jaypaw on the ground. He gasped and put a paw on her chest, feeling the steady breathing.] Good, she's alive. [Hollowkit didn't know what to do, but he knew he had to do something. The scar on his right eye seemed to burn, telling him to leave but he couldn't. He promised his mom he would be a great help! Hollowkit picked the kit up by the scruff and dragged her into the medicine den, laying her on one of the moss nests. He soaked some moss in the pool, so when Jaypaw woke up she wouldn't be thirsty. Hollowkit waited patiently for the gray cat to wake up, his green gaze flickered with anxiety.] ╚═════════════════════════╝and filled with unforgiving memories...
