twas bad timing Mr. Chaos. when we started this conversation you weren't on. you never agreed...but you weren't supposed to be online and looking without showing your own picture too. mainly it's just unfair that you can see us, but we can't see you. that' puts us at a disadvantage. i don't hate you...but it is unfair. i agree with haki. ------- haki this is a quote from a conversation i had with someone else on the topic of voice. you don't have to sing in choir, and i wasn't trying to convince you to, but it'd be good if you ever entered a musical to at least be in the habit of singing regularly (though at my school the theater director is more likely to cast someone in both organizations for the part than anyone in just one.) mainly it was that you shouldn't ever not sing. you can choose to not sing in public, but it ruins your ability to sing in the future if you ignore it in private too. AriaofRevelations learn to sing using just your throat (pinch your nose...only M&N and other closed consonants should have issues there, because they tend to be nasal. relax your diaohram, and allow your belly to come out as you breath in. fill all of your lungs up, then as you sing push with your abs. you want to keep your throat wide, it should feel as if you're yawning. first and formost, you should practice matching pitches and listen to the way you hear yourself sing. it's not the way others hear you, but it should sound good still...possibly even better. i recommend recording yourself as well. spend a lot of time listening and tuning before you add volume, but at the same time never be unconfident because it restricts your voice. there is more for later, but you should probably at least try out those things now, and figure them out. they will need to be habit later. also, music doesn't fill all my time. i wish it did. my parents and my obligations to them take up most. then homework...then sadly rping...because i don't practice in between posts like i should...mainly i have to be silent at 8 and after so my brother who's 3 and shares my room can sleep. the solution Chao, is for you to take a NEW picture. or scan an old one or a student id or something.

a lot of people are. i wouldn't have had me in a tux for the dev. id if my mom hadn't made me have my picture taken. the fractal was made by me and photo shopped in. we just want your soul, and the camera will steal it for us.
well if you don't care you don't care. but don't say you are bad at it. not giving a rat's steed is different from inability.

but seriously. that's a pointy question. how should i know how good or bad i am. i enjoy it...so i do it. i love everything about music...and in order to learn composition you have to take music theory...which includes aural (ear) and voice training. you have to be able to replicate music you hear on paper. and you have to be able to sing from sheet music, and carry a tune in your head. it was very annoying to learn, mostly because i didn't want it to be hard. i also do choir. 4/7 of my classes this year are music related. i'm also sedatephobic ...so i sing or tab rhythms whenever there is nothing to make noise. i don't have money for voice lessons anymore though....

silver...you're so...blue. honestly i don't know why you're so afraid of cameras. you aren't ugly enough to be afraid of cameras. you have to look 1/3 as bad as me or worse before you can be afraid of cameras
