Des Voh d20 is good as long as you stray from the rules, and dont dive so deep into them. You cant put such limits on fantasy. I may use d20 rule but I was raised on D6. Number 1 rule of D6: Dont let the rules get in the way of a good time. That translates into D20 as the phrase "House rules"

K-Blade I’ve tried it and I’m not impressed at all with it. D20 works for us because we also play D&D. same rules but the swords shoot laser beams. Makes it easier on us as we only have to memorize one set of rules.

The game is better without rules at all, and the limits is your imagination. Which is why I like Arcane casters. They have virtually endless potential as-long as you set them right. My Darth Eldritch was going to be a manifestation of that theory by combining the Force and Sith Magic.

K-Blade This game happened long before wookieepedia and the newest books out was the Thron trilogy. You need to understand that reference material from that day and age was non-existent. This is with the old D6 system, not that new D20 thing that everyone is flocking to like a bunch of lemmings. I need not remind you of how many years pass from the first Deathstar to the 2nd one. Plenty of time for romance and life other than just hack and slash gamming.Agreed. I find constant "shoot stormtrooper, get outta dodge, then shoot TIEs in your ship!" to be pretty freakin' boring after a while. ._. Now, a teen idol singer kind of character ... now that I could get into! heart

Then you're back to the whole Cops and Robbers thing where people would fight over who shot who.

We are a more combat oriented group, but that doesn't mean that we fight all the time. We have plenty of story moments as well.

We use house rules to adjust the base rules. That way seems to work out well for us.

Just be prepared to rub shoulders with the scum of the galaxy and be chased by Imps. We do have a love/hate relationship with the Stormies, dont we Ral?

It's been awhile since I played a good game of sabaac as well. Hell I never really got R'al together as a character until I started gambling. Then everything fell into place.
