Sharpening regular pencils is a pain, more so when you're in a class and the tip breaks off. I always make sure i have mechanical pencils, or a pen.

[Teh Dixie.] And Youki~, muchas gracias for the advice. Every little bit helps, and I appreciate your insight. <2+1 Really, right now I'm scared about college. I don't know exactly WHAT I want to study, I have too many interests, but some things I do love and have a passion for I feel like I would be an embarrassment in the professional world, ie: music and writing, art. Plus, unless you are a deity in the field, you can't really count on money.
My parents have flip-flopped in my head so many times about whether I should pursue a career that will make me happy, or financially secure. DD< I'm trying to see if I can mesh the two together with some Biology. I love, LOVE that science. Computer engineering, too. But, eeeh. Genetics, ho~ I was a music major; I just never finished college. Anyways, study what will make you happy and don't worry about how much money you'll make with a career. Even if you decide not to (or can't) make a living related to your degree you can still get plenty of jobs that pay well, especially if you have any kind of college degree. I had a job working with lab animals... until I got fired... grr... cry

DD: [hugs and loves Meer] I hope your situation improves.
Oh mans, Youki, Tennessee is like Texas. Big in music, though thank God I'm getting out of Nashville. Damned Country Music Capital. UT is begging me to be a music major, got a scholarship for my playing, but eeeh~ I'd abash that field. Not that I don't love it. I plan to be a music minor. :33
Do you play/sing? {Lord, I just thought of music ed. That's one thing I would probably never, ever, do.}

[Teh Dixie.] Do you play/sing? {Lord, I just thought of music ed. That's one thing I would probably never, ever, do.} in school I played trumpet and trombone... nowadays I do piano mostly, and play guitar in a band (when we're all in the same city), and I do recording/production/etc tech stuff.
