Perhaps it was just being alone in the dark forest, but she felt as if something was wrong. Now, if she was a child she would have shrugged it off, but now she learned such instincts were not to be ignored.

She was fairly certain that her sheild could withstand a substantial amout of power.

However, she was not one to take chances. She growled low in her throat, a threat that would reach the keenest of ears, to stay away, that attention was unwanted.

A threat that would most likely be ignored.

Supporting himself on a tree trunk Hidjie paused and looked up at the shield, "What in the world...?" he mumbled as he took a step closer. A keen ear might have been able to pick up that growl, but Hidjie's nothing more than a human. He radiated no power, what so ever, and he stumbled through the darkness like a city boy dropped into a forest in the middle of the night. The shield was glowing...light...which ment Hidjie could see and thus not be afraid that some psycho killer was waiting for him around the next tree. Oh he wasn't paranoid or anything like that, but the Black Company did have a habit of random warrior popping out to take a few swings at Hidjie...and since he didn't have the strength nor agility of ten thousand men he never really dodged them. Instead he always seemed to die...DIE?!?

The woman's brows narrowed, her eyes gleaming bright in the darkness. She slipped into the shadows away from the fire, wrapping her cloak around her tightly, and letting her breathing slow. She had heard the footfalls, undoubtably male, heavy, so he was of a substantial amount of weight.

Her clawed hand dug into the ground and her body tensed, ready to spring at any moment, incase she felt threatened.

Hidjie being Hidjie approached the shield with a sence of awe and excitement. Of course he'd seen things like this all over the place, everyone and their mother's had shields that could stop a damn nuke. Nuke? But it never ceased to amaze him of the impossibility that these people could come up with. Not even one pace away from the shield he tapped at it. Figuring how stupid that idea was the second his finger touched the strange white glow. These things normally electrocuted people, or removed entire limbs just because everyone was so damn powerful.

The woman watched from her hiding place as the man went to touch the sheild. She felt herself smiling with slight amusement at his caution and quickly stomped down the warm emotion. She knew the sheild would nat harm him, it was meant to protect, not to hurt.

The sheild would most likely just seem like a wall, a see through wall, but a wall none the less. The sheild would be warm from the energy it created.

It was like...solid air. Some barriers crackled energy, and others swirled like the mist, but this one was just like solid air. Not smoth or slick...it was just like the air suddenly became solid. Using the back of his index finger's knuckle he knocked on it twice. Man it was getting cold outside and the red, short sleeve, t-shirt didn't do a whole lot to cut the chill. The shield felt warm, yet despite the warmth Hidjie didn't think it'd be...smart...to huddle up close to it. Eerie glow...Eerie silence...? Oh yea, definately not something Tegral wanted to be around. Taking quick to his feet he promptly walked in a different directions. Too many freaks and weirdos who could blow up mountains with their farts to suit Hidjie.

The woman sighed as she heard the footsteps getting farther and farther away. She did not know how much the area had changed since she had last been here. She did not want to draw attention. She was here to look for someone and that was all.

She crept out of her hiding place and sat once again near the fire. She sighed and tossed back her hair that was falling into her eyes. She was tired, so very tired of having to keep up with all the twists and turns that her life took. What happend to the peaceful life she had so hoped for?

Gutted, destroyed and burned. Thats what happend, she growled and wiped furiously at the mere drop of fluid that fell from her eyes.

Yotsuba
*As he started to pull his hand away, her grap didnt loosen right away. Since her soul still had not returned to her body, her body was slow to react. Once her body realised the s'posed threat had ended her hand slowly let go and dropped back down to the ground. Her arm made a small thud when it landed on the ground. Her eyes still the milky, clouded stubstance it was, the dark orb of her eye still there, moved slowly as if trying to look at Focht. A few moments later her skin started to fade color slightly, a clear sign her body and soul had been seperated for too long and it wouldnt be too much longer until things took a turn for the worst. That is if her soul didnt find it's way back soon*

Focht reached over and shook Yotsy's sholder gently, trying to wake her up. This wasn't something he didn't have much experience with souls.

"Yotsuba? You ok?"

((sorry for the short post, gotta pick up somewhere though sweatdrop ))

*Her body shook a little when he shook her shoulder. Her body didn?t react quickly, it was still limp. Her milky, yet darkened orbs in her eyes slowly moved from side to side with the movements from her shaken body. Her skin color was now almost clearly pale blue. The only thing keeping worry from setting in was the fact that her body still appeared to be the same temperature as it would've been normally. After a few moments more had passed her eyes settled in, the milky residue had started to fade away a little at a time. Then without notice a small ball of crimson energy appeared from the west, as if it had just stopped while on it's speed of light travel and shot into Yotsy's chest. Her body was still the same blue-ish color, though within minutes her body began to glow the same color as the orb of energy that entered her body. The orb had clearly been too small to be a complete soul, but nonetheless part of one. Her breathing with time, began to pick up speed slightly. Though she seemed to still be unconscious*

Focht shrugged at the effect of the ball of energy and continued to shake Yotsuba. It seemed to have helped Yotsy with what ever that had been.

"You gonna just lay there Yotsy?"

He wasn't in much shape to go anywhere and he didn't want to leave Yotsy like she was.

*With a little time her body's color was starting to return to it's normal shade. But that one little orb wasn't going to cut it, she needed to have the rest of them, to complete the soul in it's entirety. By now her eyes had lost all the milky substance it had before and were now nothing but dark orbs. She blinked twice, as if nothing had happened, and just that, nothing happened. She continued to just lay there, but slowly the glow around her body grew a little more brighter as if calling out to someone or something. Then out of no where, at the same speed as the first one, a total of seven more energy balls, of the same circular size appeared the same way. They appeared to just sit there, floating, as if conversing with one another and deciding if they really wanted to go back. Her glowing aura grew a little more, as if trying to attach to each little orb and pull them back in. With some success they were each forcefully pulled back into her body. Once they all dissipated back in, her body jumped violently and then went limp once again as she shut her eyes. When she opened them again, her eyes were back to normal and she looked up at Focht*
"Maybe . . ."

Focht smirked and poked her stomach gently. Having taken her injuries, she wouldn't be hurt by it. His left arm still was bad but for the most part, he was fully healed, even the injuries he had taken from her were well on their way to being healed.

"Laying there won't do you much good. So, what was that about?"

*She tried to sit up, but found it a little too hard to, considering what she'd just gone through. She found it almost impossible to move at the moment, and her head was hurting a little. She looked at Focht, with almost a confused look on her face as if she had no idea what so ever what had happened. Then she thought for a moment and it struck her like lightining. She let out a heavy sigh and shook her head slightly*
"I'm sorry, I do that sometimes, and it happens without notice..."

Focht chuckled alittle, watching her try to move. When she could move, he had a favor to ask of her but it could wait, he had waited this long already. His tail started to sway gently behind him as he seemed to relax alittle.

"Well, its interesting to say the least. So, care to explain or is it none of my business?"

*She glanced down at her stomach for a moment having just realized that when touched her, she didnt feel any pain. She looked back up at him knowing damn well what he'd done. She shook her head slightly and sighed a little. Ignoring that now she went back to what he'd asked her before*
"It's not that it's none of your buisness, it's just hard to explain, or more like hard for people to understand"
*She reached over and moved her tail a little with her hand and almost instantly it was able to move again. Her tail swayed and laid down in her lap as she sat up with almost no trouble at all*
"Well, it happens often really. It can also turn for the worst if I am alone when it happens..."
*She started and paused to take in a deep breathe and think about how to explain it so he could understand it*
