Deflation in the marketplace makes me sad

Hi hi heart
I'm currently hooked on Frito Lays Kettle Cooked chips right now. All the crunchy goodness of Doritos, but now with more salt. redface I know, salt is not good for me.
Edit: Oh! I bought my fairy cloth. 2.2k in the MP, people are selling stuff at lower prices now to get gold for the new items. xd

The deflation has been very weird lately. The worst part about is that I don't keep gold on hand -- I invest in items -- so while the prices are down, if I had kept gold instead of items, I would be overjoyed.
emo But I didn't.. so now if I sell my items to get the gold to buy the deflated items, I will be losing out. It makes more sense to wait until things start inflating again for me.
But it makes me want to cry.
