Yeah, I know what you mean both ways.
Going hiking was my way of de-stressing from a stressful job. That and it was great exercise. XD I just love to be around nature when I hike. It makes me feel rejuvenated.
Sometimes you really do need to just get away from it all or it'll drive you crazy.

I think it's a healthy endeavor.
Right now my break is driving to class and back...when people don't cut me off. I can listen to the station I like and sing loudly and off key even.

Which isn't really an optiobn open to me very often, 'soz I be workin' most every day and starting early in the morning. Handstands and hangovers do not mix, people. rofl

Being the single parent I am I don't get drunk or even drink anymore. I have to be coherent 24-7. Just in case I have to take him to the doctor or worse. That and I don't exactly have some one that is all that willing to drive my drunk butt home. rofl

hmm.. well, I personally don't drink just for the simple fact that i am extremely picky about what I drink. And, by extremely picky... I don't mean just liking certain brands or doing it at a certain time. I mean like.. I have extreme food texture issues.. i don't wanna smell the alcohol or taste it. I don't like pulp... so if it has piece of stuff floating in it.. that's out too. tried beer for first time last summer. thought it was too much like a flat gingerale... and not as sweet. someone said you need to acquire a taste for it. so many things out there people say you need to "acquire a taste for". To me that's like.. well if you eat/drink anything long enough you might acquire the taste for it. doesn't mean it's any good at all... means you just got used to it's yuckiness. doesn't mean the yuck isn't yuck. *points her index fingers together* but i don't mind some twisted smirnoff sometimes. teh green apple seems to work for me.
Nah. for me. i just want some ice cream... or one of those hot fudge ice cream cake things from big boys. mm... two giant brownie cakes... huge scoop of vanilla icecream in the middle. adn hot fudge all over the place. yum...or hair brushing.

I brush my cousins hair. I don't have a girl though and she lets me. She's such a tom boy that she forgets to brush her hair sometimes.

Grats on finding a bf, Panda. ^^
I used to love hiking; it's something I've really missed since we moved away from the mountains. We are trying to plan a camping trip to the outer banks sometime this month, while it's still not too hot and before our summer gets really busy. Hopefully it'll work out.
Panda, your cousin reminds me of myself when I was younger, at least based off of what my mom tells me. XD My parents used to have a horrible time getting me to sit still for that. My husband helps brush my hair now; he likes it long and I made him agree to help take care of it, because if it was left up to me, I'd probably have cut it all off by now.

I have to get mine cut for the summer. Or else it will weighdown my head and cause heat stroke. Black hair= heat! gonk

I normally get mine cut in the summer. I have dark hair and it gets too hot.
I haven't found a good hiking place to replace the one I had in Maryland yet though. The closest thing we seem to have to a hill is "Rib Mountain".
I used to hate brushing my hair. When I was in high school I was known to go to school with out brushing it. Which is funny because no one noticed. rofl

My baby is one today!! gonk I can't believe it where has the time gone!? I no longer have a baby, I have a toddler now. Now time to get the house presentable for the big birthday bash this weekend!
