Rei happily took one and broke it in half.
"Thanks, Caleb," he grinned. He tossed out his PokéBall, and a Bagon jumped out. After a moment's hesitation, he offered the other half to Bagon.
"Here you go, Emo Cloud. Give it a try." The Bagon took one sniff and chomped down on the cookie, shutting its mouth on Rei's protected hand.
"Um, Emo Cloud..." he muttered softly, hoping not to catch the attention of the others.
"Emo Cloud... Let go... Please let go..." The Bagon only stared, close-jawed, back at Rei.

Eating after working? Caleb kinda guessed that could work out the same way as eating after swimming. He was taken aback by Brick eating the cookie. Not so much as the Tyranitar eating, but he ate and the way he eyeballed the cookies.
Caleb had better be careful, otherwise those cookies would disappear!
Speaking of disappearing, Rei's Bagon had clamped down on his hand. That was definitely a sight Caleb had never seen before. He couldn't help but be reminded of his Trapinch.
Before Caleb could offer more of the cookies to anyone, high pitched laughter suddenly erupted from the sub. Looking at the sub, he couldn't say he remembered the bright orange paint job before. Not to mention the crazy looking face on the front of the watercraft.
A group of Rotom phased out of the sub, making the submarine go back to the paint job they had given it. Turning the sub on and off seemed to have stirred them after started living inside. The cookies had only got their attention even more.
"Kekekekeeee!"
The cluster of Rotom rushed for the group and their cookie stash.
[Protect the submarine and the cookies! Battle two Rotom! Feel free to catch one if you'd like.]
Caleb looked to his Marshtomp and them to the Rotoms. Floating ghosts, yeah ground type moves definitely weren't going to be much help this time.
"You keep an eye on the cookies..." Caleb told him. The Marshtomp gave him a salute.
Caleb sent out his Chinchou and Whimsicott.
The Rotoms weren't going to wait for him to make a move! Electricity flared out from them towards Caleb's pokemon. His Chinchou scooted forward, absorbing the electricity.
"Hurri...wait no...use Mega Drain on the one to the left!" Caleb ordered. His Whimsicott was quick to do so, absorbing energy from the Rotom.
"Finish it with Bubble!" Caleb ordered. His Chinchou nodded before spewing a bunch of bubbles at it. The Rotom made a crackling sound before disappearing. The bubbles also hit the other one, weakening that one a little as well.
Now use Grasswhistle on the other one!" Caleb instructed. The Whimsicott looked around before plucking a piece of grass up from the ground before putting it to her lips and making a whistling tune. The Rotom quickly fell asleep.
Caleb tossed a poke ball at it. After the ball had stopped rocking, Caleb went to collect it before sending it to the storage system.

Upon hearing the mischievous laughter, the Bagon turned its head to look at the source.
After the haunted shack, Bagon hated ghosts. With a burning passion. He saw them head for the cookies.
Not. Today.
With an almighty roar, the Bagon released Rei's hand and charged at the group of Rotom.
The nearest one took a Dragon Claw to the face. In shock, the Rotom used Substitute, allowing Bagon to thrash violently against a fake of itself. Giggling madly, the Rotom sent jolts of electricity at the Bagon, further provoking its rage. The substitute finally defeated, Bagon turned to the Rotom and chomped down on its plasma body. The Rotom fainted shortly afterwards.
Bagon turned its attention to its next victim and proceeded to charge, but this Rotom was ready for it. It sent a weak jolt of electricity coursing through Bagon's body, paralyzing it. Bagon crashed to the ground, its muscles suddenly not responding as they should. With a cruel laugh, the Rotom used Hex, and Bagon's vision blurred.
"Well, good effort, Emo Cloud," Rei said as he returned his Bagon and swapped it for his Treecko.
"Gex, good luck. Agility, then Energy Ball. Try not to get paralyzed, or you'll have a hard time." The gecko focused on its reflexes and tossed its leafed stick to the ground, increasing its speed. The Rotom sent out an Electro Ball at the same moment, getting a solid hit in before the speed difference was no longer significant enough to continue. Treecko, now faster by just a hair, proceeded to slam an Energy Ball at the assailant, which tried discharging its energy into the gecko.
Noticing its allies were no longer supporting it, the Rotom attempted to escape, but Gex was in quick pursuit, and slammed the Rotom to the ground, pinning it while Rei tossed an empty PokéBall.
In three clicks, the battle had ended.
"Thanks, Gex. Didn't want that one to get away. Emo Cloud would've had a fit otherwise."
Rei's belt shuddered. Another point for Inkay!

Now Brick wouldn't normally hurt a fly unless ordered. But these creature were going after cookies. His friend's cookies. Potentially his cookies. He can't stand for such an injustice.
Dark was still hard at his arcade game, now becoming frustrated. He was so into the game he didn't noticed the mega ring around his wrist glowing.
A powerful aura surrounds Brick as his fury builds. The light and energy swirl around him, overcoming and eventually transforming him. Brick lets out a powerful roar, blasting the light away and revealing a mega Tyranitar. Although Brick was a bit different than a standard mega Tyranitar. It appears that large red triangular shades had appeared on him during the transformation as a symbol of how close he and his trainer are.
The Mega Brick eyes the ghosts as they approach. He snarls and screams a warning of them against going after the cookies. The warning falls on deaf ears. He lunges forward as fast as he can, Shadow Clawing whichever ghost that crosses his path. He stops at a Rotom which was eyeing the cookies particularly suspiciously. He lunges at the Ghost and chomps down hard with a Crunch attack. The ghost goes down quickly; cursing it's unsatisfied craving of baked goods. Another Rotom approaches, angry at the defeat of it's partner. Brick gives no quarter as he assaults the ghost with a similar Crunch attack. The Rotom faints, only to dream of the sweet, savory desserts. By now the spontaneous mega energy was wearing off. Brick felt his body shake as he reverted to his standard form.
Brick scratches his head and looks around with his big soft eyes. Maybe after they share the cookies they could go for ice cream?

After the rest of the Rotoms fled like the pansies they were, Caleb sighed and sat back down.
Well that happened. Brick's mega evolving might not have entirely scared the Rotoms at the start, but it sure surprised Caleb a bit. He wasn't going to say anything about it though. Nope. Not at all.
"Well that...was interesting..." he said.
Caleb looked down at the bag of cookies before looking at everyone else. Oh what the heck. He divided up the rest cookies so that everyone had an equal share. Since his family now had an easier way of contacting him, he'd probably get care packages sent from home anyways.

Rei thanked Caleb and went to the Pokémon Center to quickly heal his team. Upon returning, he sent back out his Bagon, who was impatiently staring at Rei's raised arm holding the cookies.
"Emo Cloud, go thank Caleb first."
The Bagon had other plans. He rammed his head into Rei's shin, and the Aquan instinctively lowered his arms and grabbed at his leg. Emo Cloud wasted no time chomping down on the now reachable cookies. And Rei's gauntlet-covered hand.
"That's cheating, Emo Cloud! And get off!"

Brick gladly took his given share of the cookies. He was so happy right now. No, like, you don't understand. He was like SUPER happy. He savors the cookies, placing one in his mouth at a time. Chomping down slowly and rolling it around in his mouth. So good.

Allen rushes onto the scene, his hair in a static afro looking like a huge red bush. There was a frustrated grunt on the back of his head as the Rotom that had run into him on his way in tried to pull away. It was effectively static'd to his head. "Uh, hey guys." He waved with a sheepish chuckle. His tiny Pawniard could be heard cackling in a distance. The trainer squinted in it's general direction.

Rei waved, trying his best to hide the pain that was slowly creeping up his Bagon-ended arm.
"Hello, Allen." He paused. "Um, I like what you've done with your hair."

Allen squinted to at Rei, "Loving your gauntlet there." He chuckled. reaching out for a bottle of water to dump over his head. There was a loud static-y crackle and pop and one could see a Rotom flying off into the distance. Allen long hair fell flat over his head.

"Thanks," Rei replied. He looked down at his Bagon. Curling his hand into a fist, he lightly bonked the Dragon-type in the head. Surprised, the Bagon released his bite and jumped.
"There. I should've done that sooner," Rei grumbled, shaking his hand in an effort to remove the Bagon drool.

Caleb gave a small nod to Allen. He'd just been sitting there eating his share of cookies. His Marshtomp's share was long gone. Not too far away played a faint, chiming melody.
"Well that's my cue..." Caleb said, getting up and running to catch up to the ice cream truck.

Rei's Bagon looked at him pleadingly.
"No." Bagon's eyes widened.
"I said, no." The eyes began to water.
"No, you Trubbish, and that's that." The lower jaw began to quiver.
Rei followed Caleb, thoroughly disgusted with himself.
