I have a mac because I'm poor. My rich daddy gave me a Mac for free because he likes Macs better. Don't assume mac users are all rich. Most of them are, and then there are those of us who take what we can get. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be rich! I'm just...not... ;;>.>





That really is my issue though, "beggars can't be choosers." I wish I wasn't a beggar so I could choose, but I am, so I can't, and I get ******** over because of it. If this is one of those "you're not as poor as you say you are, you have a mac" things, see above. I'm likely as poor as anyone here. Except all the college debt is my mother's instead of mine. And neither of us have jobs. In b4 "your mom goes to college."

@Em I never said you were rich or that having a mac makes you rich. I said you got screwed because you had a mac. That's just how I see it. If they had started charging a monthly like WoW then I would see that as being screwed due to lack of moeny. I know a lot of people take what they can get. I myself only have my dell because my great uncle died and my grandma gave me his laptop. My parents would have never bought me a laptop and I wouldn't have one at all w/o old uncle bill, may he rest in peace.

▀ _ I get ******** all the time on what I want, doesn't help much being the middle child, but that's irrelevant. And I said nothing of your mac. My best friend has a mac and her family barely makes enough to pay bills in one month because she's going to college. But its art school so its understandable.
As for being as poor as everyone here, that's something you can't measure with a ruler. Someone can have nice things and be dirt poor, or they can have really shitty things and have lots of money. Both could be considered poor, its all one of those glass half empty or full. Like if you took one look at my parents, you'd think they had a lot of money. House is all nice and rebuilt, have decent cars, have expensive toys, two trailers, fridge full of good food... My dad goes to Hawaii and Alaska all the time for work too.
But they have like, no money. I can't go to college. My mom can barely go to college. Both my parents run their own businesses, just to make ends meet. My mom cleans for an elder lady every week just for a bit of extra money. There are times when neither of them have work. They're self employed.
As for me, instead of going into (I should say further into) debt by going to college, I've looked into the Pell grant. You can probably get in on that if you want to go bad enough.
But I moved out, and have no money. I have a computer, yes, it was a gift for my birthday, and I baby the hell out of it. So until I get enough money made up, once I'm employed, I've had to be a beggar, and I can't choose either. Its no ones fault but my own, for moving out and not having a job. Its one of those things you just have to accept. One of those c'est la vie things. Sure you'll get ********, get over it, figure out a way around it. Its just an obstacle in the road of life.
As Xane said, take what you get and be thankful. So you got screwed on one thing. I'm sure if you wanted bad enough, you could figure out how to get League of Legends to play on your Mac as a Windows application. Its definitely possible.
Until then, as I said, move on, you might find other things you like that are free and you can play with friends. /shrug

Never resort to what you have until you've scoured all possible options. Its kinda the way I live. And it gets me into trouble sometimes too, but again, its my own choice, my own consequences.
