"Did someone mention my name?"
Coming up behind the group uncovering the electrodes, Liam blinked, quirking an eyebrow at the trainers. He had had some trouble locating his backpack, and in the short time he had been away, apparently he had been needed. Whoops. Well that sucked.
Glancing over Alastair's shoulder, the healer started pulling out a few potions he had left over, trying to get a count on the electrodes.
"Anyone know how many there are?"

"Chi!" Katie chirped happily to the scientist, flicking her tail and rubbing the top of her head affectionately against the scientist's chin. She was probably as much of a danger as a dust bunny. Letting out another happy squeak, she ran up the arm of the scientist who was patting his colleague's shoulder, perching up on his shoulder and sticking her nose in his ear, sniffing him.

That was just Alastair’s luck, wasn’t it? Have someone sneak up on him right after he had figured that they were off taking a nap. Or… err… not-napping. “Do you always sneak up on people like that?” he asked, once he finished having his little mini heart attack. “Let’s see… so far, we’ve got two dug out. It looks like there are at least two more in there. You can see the white against the mud sometimes, see? I’d bet on more though, just in case.” Better to overestimate than underestimate, right?

Kiri, seeming to pop out of nowhere as usual, ended up face to face with an Electrode. "Eh?!" she stared at it, dumbfounded, with an expression of shock on her face. Oddly enough, the Electrode was doing the exact same thing!

Lock's eyes divert from the mixture he was making, spotting a red-headed boy doing something near to what he was doing himself. He just went back to work.
Faraon walked up to his owner and sniff him. "Perrr..."
The man smiled. "are you going to help me energize those electrodes after we heal them?"
The persian tilted his head as he began cleaning dirt off his fur. "Perrrr...."His first bristle with static for a moment, making the healer smile. "good."

 Fin blinked as a girl popped up out of nowhere, close to the freed Electrodes. "Hello, there," she said cautiously. "Be careful with those Electrodes, we don't know what might set them off. Are you with us?" She hadn't seen her before.

"Oh, I try," Liam responded to Alastair with a smirk, his eyes glittering in amusement. He had seen the other around during the trip. Seemed like a smart guy. Which was ok in Liam's book, as long as he wasn't making trouble for him. Call him self-centered, but if you weren't hurting pokemon and you weren't trying to get in his way, you were usually ok in his book.
Giving a slow nod, the healer bent down in front of one of the electrodes, checking to see how many potions he had.
"I have never seen an electrode take a berry before... but lets hope they do... I don't know how many more potions I have. I have one revive, but I was hoping that would be only for dire emergencies."

Kira followed all of Locks directions and smiled to Faraon. "My, aren't you the helper. I'd get Katie to help, but I think she's still residing with those scientists...." She turned to Lock. "What else can I do to help?"

 As her pencil moved across the sketch book, she seemed happy to finally get something on the paper before her. "You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet. Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it. You know you can if you get the chance, in your face as the door keeps slamming. Now you're feeling more and more frustrated, and you're getting all kind of impatient waiting..."

Curious about what a healer’s work involved, Alastair did a bit of staring over Liam’s shoulder. This was slightly difficult, seeing as Liam was about half a foot taller than he was, so it was really more like staring around Liam’s shoulder (at least until the healer knelt down)… but, of course, Alastair would not let himself even think that. “Actually, you know, I think it’s better that you at least try to sneak up on people. It’d be freakier if you managed it without trying,” he said, looking on the bright side of things. Well… sort of bright. From a certain perspective.
“…Do they even have mouths?” he asked, looking down at the electrodes with a strange fascination. As far as he could see, they were just spheres with no apparent orifices. To think that such a creature could actually live. It was sort of beautiful, in a really twisted way.

Lock walked up to one of electrodes and sat infront of it, which stared wide eyed at him.
"Its alright, I am here to help you. "He petted it softly before pouring some of the mixture on it. The pokemon looked unsure but soon didn't care as the healer started to rub it in gently. Letting out tired, but happy sounds, it started to rotate under Lock's hands, who chuckled. The potion he was using was not only suppose to heal but energize. "I see you are perking up already, that's good!"

Kiri slowly, as slowly as possible, turned to face whoever was talking to her. "Erm. Yeah. I jumped on a wagon and I've been hiding out in a compartment somewhere since this thing started." The electrode blinked a few times before hopping a bit forward to investigate Kiri. The smooth, hard surface rubbed against her for a second, and then backed up a bit. "Is this one gonna explode on me or anything...?"

Arin chuckled a little, smiling. "Names Arin." Though shortly after that, the other trainer had wandered off to talk to others.
Hush, meanwhile, was back to digging around the other Electrodes, happy to be getting dirty.

"Well it's more fun if you try. Probably just as amusing if you don't do it on purpose, but you don't get the same feeling when it's an accident, you know," Liam teased, glancing over his shoulder at Alistair before returning to the pokemon. Slowly he examined the one in front of him. Charcoal black, they certainly didn't look too happy.
"You know... I'm not exactly sure... I've always used potions when dealing with Electrodes..." the healer responded a little sheepishly, running his hand over the spherical bomb pokemon's surface, checking to see if there would be any lasting damages. "Combusted forcibly... the rockets probably agitated them to the point that this self defense was necessary, in order to prevent itself from having any more injury," he spoke mostly to himself, raising his voice a little more than the norm so Alastair could listen, "They'll probably have some scars from the Rocket's prodding, but other than that I think a few potions and they'll be good as new." Glancing up at the other, he grinned, handing him one of the squirt bottle-like devices.
"I'd appreciate it if you could help me with the other one. Whadja say?"
