"Oh but I do want to know what it is! Please tell me! Please please please!" Maria pleaded like the hopeful child she was in spirit. She followed along, her natural curiousity driving her on once more.

Jackie smirked once more as she noticed the queen following nearby, together with the report of the queen's disappearance form the ball she had been asked to 'smoother' the queen for cooperation with the suits.
"Well, you could always snatch a deal with the suits, manage to get new advisers perhaps? more open minded ones" she said as she walked along the hallway that had a view to the garden heading for the north wing of the castle, she saw many silhouettes around, mostly dispersed couples, there was just one of the couples that she didn't like, a woman she didn't care about and a man in a suit uniform... she was hating the masquerade at this time for she couldn't guess who it was, it it was a lower rank there would be no problem but for a higher rank questioning would be in place.

Maria thought on it for a moment, growing serious. "The idea is tempting, though I am not sure I should. My current advisors are terribly annoying, but wouldn't I be abusing my power just as mother did if I were to do that? Wouldn't firing them mean execution for them? I do not hate them so much as to have them killed..." she admitted after thinking it over. Plus, couldn't this simply be the suits trying to worm their way into her good graces? "Thank you for the offer, though."

Jackie smiled "there!" she said brightly turning around, she wanted for Maria to realize what she had just said, she was a little surprised at herself for feeling so exited about just a little detail that she shouldn't be exited about but it seemed it was way to early for her to reason as usual "Do you realize what your words just now meant your highness?" she said expectantly.

Jackie sweat dropped, realizing it had probably just been a lucky sentence that the queen had not quiet really thought about, she sighed and decided to explain " You said, and I quote 'wouldn't I be abusing my power just as mother did if I were to do that' you don't need to DO it your highness, you just need to SUGGEST that option to them to take the first road I told you. doing what the THINK they want" she said then placing a hand to her chest "but then again you might not like to take advise from me, you seem to not like the suits all that much" she added smiling.

"It isn't that. I'll just have to think it out." Maria said with uncertainty. She knew that this could very well be her walking right into the Suit's clutches. Plus she had already figured out that the girl she walked with was working wih he suits. Somehow this seemed like something that Nobody had warned her to be careful about.

(sorry I haven't been posting as much lately sweatdrop I was really busy yesterday...I was at my aunt's and I didn't expect to stay there really late sweatdrop
This is getting very interesting....very interesting indeed 3nodding )
Eight changed into his usual work clothes, getting sick of the nostalgia that the masquerade bought. He quietly went out of his chamber, walking down the hallway, towards the infirmary to check if any casualties are there to keep his mind busy.
Amy heard more rustling in the woods, her humming stopped. Her senses were alert, cautious of her surroundings...
