[ Does anyone know how the scores were judged? Like, what the three numbers meant? ]

Quote: Point System: Fighter can gain up to 5 points in each category.Spelling/ GrammarPunctuation, spelling, right word usages. Conciseness/ Writing AbilityDoes the writer have a good grasp on making the details clear to the reader? How good is the writer at in creating an effective and/or interesting writing scheme, in addition to augmenting their clarity? RoleplayingDoes the writer stick to their character's personality and overall "feel?" If a fighter is a stubborn fool, then the posts should show this. Dialogue and mood setting can also can attribute to this. Creativity/ StrategyUnique plans or good strategies that make use of the fighter's situation, setting, and ability are examined. If they have both, even better. Control of the FightHow well was the fighter dominating the fight? Each number is a score from one of three judges representing your total for the fight. The maximum you can get is 30, which would represent a 5 in every category, or perfect. You got a 17/30 from one judge, 17/30 from another, and 13/30 from the third. And then the overall total of those three scores against your opponent's overall total determines the victor... which has caused some controversy. Now, as for an actual breakdown of what you got in each category from each judge, you can request that info in the Judge Panel.

er, not 30, max is 25. >_> That's what I get for posting while half-asleep. And I know the edit button's back, but the format for Gaia is all messed up on the work comp so the edit button doesn't show up. Yay graveyard shift!

Ah, nothing like painting a veneer of contempt and fury over depression. I can actually buy it.
On a related note, baby-endangering known-nothing drunks don't count as "men" in my books.

Sorry, I'm just upset at a former friend of mine for being a goddamn reetee and her drunken b***h of a babydaddy for being a drunken gay French Communist.
And ranting about Raymond Hazen makes me feel better. No matter how bad I feel at times, at least I'm not a bitchtool.

Boring...my opponent's still not here >.<
I'm getting by, though...
Oh, me and cael came up with an interesting idea to like, make a high score table for the tournament, adding the total points everyone makes throughout the competition, and seeing where people rank.
We thought this up because we noticed that (for some incredibly odd and freaky reason) he and i had the highest scores of the first round...
I've actually almost got it completely sorted out, my only problem is how to "score" the ones who won by default, dq, or ko, and thus have no scores

What you should do for the DQ's and free pass people, Kyt, is take the average score from the other fighters in the first round, and give them an average score for that round.

I guess that could work...does 52.2 sound acceptable? I'll can put zeroes for the no-shows and dq, but what about the ko?

I'd say 52 sounds about right.
I'd just give the average score to anyone that didn't advance via judge scoring.
The DQ and KO should probably get like, 55 for KO effort, and the DQ should just get the average.
