XxxLa Rose NoirexxX Chicken Balls I'm with you on that Gawthy, i've been to way too many funerals in the last year. Its just kind of scary that someone who was living last week could be pushed down an aisle in a wooden box. And someone you once to referred to in the present tense is now in past tense. But... at least its closure...I know what you mean, sometimes t's just so hard to comprehend that someone so full of life one week can be so lifeless the next. in one year my three granparents died, this boy I used to play rugby with was high on cocaine and ******** knows what else was basically find by his girlfriend with a knife in his chest (he slipped apprently), my bestfriend for years was raped and murdered in another country, another friend overdosed and one hung himself over a local park. you think you could get used to it but you never can, losing someone is always upsetting, but atleast we can put them to rest in a place where they will never be alone ]

Although, a point that was made in a play I'm studying makes a lot of sense.
Its called "Our Town", and its about just any little town, with everyday life. Eventually the two main characters who at the beginning were just young teens get married after graduation, and then years later, the girl dies in childbirth. She asks to relive one day in her life, and then finds it overwhelming that she didn't enjoy that day as she should have when she was living, and asks to go back to the graveyard. There on her grave is her husband, who is crying, and she says: "They just don't understand, do they?" Meaning, that instead of mourning over those who are lost, we should all enjoy the fact that we are still here to live our lives, because you never know when it will just be over.
I don't know, I thought it made sense, but that's just me.

Chicken Balls Yeah that does make sense gawthy, thats a pretty mice message. Studying isn't always a bad thing. Haha, well, I never study anything unless its for a good cause. I started studying this particular play so I'm a bit familiar with it when I go to my weeklong drama program again this summer because that's the play we are focusing on. (In case you can't tell, to me acting = a good cause <3. )
Gem: Well, from my understanding of it, it must be a pretty "intimate" play with the rest of the audience with the Stage Manager kind of connecting everything together, and talking directly to the audience. Its very different, I can't wait until I get to start interpretting it in July. <3
