Reko awoke several hours later, rather uncomfortable. He stood up, his clothes drying as he did. Greed stood finished approaching him soon after, and stood by his side.
"Annoying, isn't it....." Greed stated, sharing their feeling. They could feel Sei's intentions in the world's energy.
"Yes.....We'll kill him next time we see him?" Reko questioned. They had no grudge against the person, of course. But, he wanted a peaceful system. For that, Yawgmoth had to die. And if he dies, taking everyone elses energy would just be harder.
"If we can...this world is strange, and we have been out of practice for a long time." Greed replied. They both turned and began walking away, towards into distance.
"Well lets go have a little practice, eh?" Reko said, and they both disintegrated.

Reko stood on the cliffs edge, returned after days of collecting energy for his magic trick. Around his body circulated a massive amount of energy, the song of the devoured singing loudly. With Greed combined with him, they could easily transfer this without pain. And they did. Placing his hands in front of him, he ushered the energy off into the distance. Where it collided in the ocean, a rip would open between the dimensions of this one and another. Energy lashed out from the torrent like whips, sometimes striking the cliff side leaving gashes that ran deep.
From the rip, a large, thick pillar of rock, metal, bone, and other materials not in the dimension rose, causing large tidal waves that rose just high enough to lick Reko's feet. It rose for quite awhile to it suddenly, violently, stopped. Storm clouds spawned and circulated around it, the ocean became violent around it, and blue and white flashes of light and lightning shot through the clouds. The rip snapped shut and in it's place stood a cold, inhospitable tower that made outer space feel like a day on the beach.
  The Pillar of Shiva.

Wandering slowly around the wilderness, Ziven found herself wandering along a familiar place. With a small smile and a deep breath, she sat herself on the edge of the cliff, allowing her feet to dangle off the edge. Blue eyes gazed calmly out over the beach below to the water moving endlessly before her. Dressed in all blue, only her hair and cloak could be seen, with but the hems of her skirt showing near her ankles, though this would be difficult for anyone to see with her feet dangling over the edge.

Arthon walked to the cliff, looking more tired than he normally did with his book in hand. He had spent all night walking and looking for a suitable place to open up his new shop. The idea of having a shop by the cliff side was very appealing, but the sickly elf was very picky where he wanted things to be. The feeling of the place had to be just right, the view perfect and the flow of traffic optimal. "What do you mean there's someone else here?" He said, looking around for a moment; then he saw her. Another elf! How grand! Despite all of his traveling and all the other elves in the world, most seemed to avoid him. Perhaps they feared they would get sick if they neared him, or maybe they had some kind of inkling of the type of power he held. It didn't matter, for surely an elf in this place would not discriminate! "Hello there!" He said, walking towards the woman. His clothing was of fine quality made of black and red fabric. They weren't necessarily clothes of nobility, but they belonged to someone who had seen good money at some point. The man himself was actually quite handsome but obviously looked ill for some reason.

As time passed, her mind began to wander. A curiosity struck her, recalling a portion of something she had read quite a long while ago. Uncovering her hands from the depths of her cloak, she held her hands open, palms up, and with a faint glow, an ornately bound book appeared in her hands. There was very little writing on the cover, leaving all but the author of this book a mystery to anyone whom found it. Opening it slowly, she smiled sweetly as she began to read. Her passion for books and for ensuring that she remembered every detail of what she had learned in the past had always been a passion of hers. Today was no different as she reviewed the book. The sky above her began to grow thick with clouds, slowly but steadily as the day wore on, though she seemed oblivious to this fact, now that she had immersed herself in the book.
Though she had a keen sense for knowing when others were about, today she was allowing herself to act as if she were alone, pushing away the indications of other people, for the most part. However at the moment she heard a voice, her ears perked. At first, she decided to continue with her reading, believing the sound was that of someone passing, which happened often. It was not much longer until she heard the sound of a greeting, which caught her interest. Looking to her side, there stood a male elf. At first she tilted her head, surprised to see someone new looking rather eager to find her.
Standing gracefully, the book in her hands disappeared with a small puff of smoke once she was on her feet. Bobbing her head politely, she smiled to the male. "Greetings, enjoying the breeze of the cliffs also?" she asked kindly, unsure of the intentions of the stranger. Though it was still in her nature to be trusting and welcoming of others, she had learned also to used a moderate amount of caution when greeting strangers.

Although she seemed to be a bit wary, the woman before him seemed kind enough. Perhaps something in her past had given her a natural distrust of strangers- or elves?- which conflicted with a good nature. At her words he nodded his head and smiled kindly. "Yes, high places always relax me the most. And the breeze smells so... fresh." Carefully he looked over the edge of the cliff at the shore below. Perhaps he could build down there!... No, when the tide came in the ocean would wash away his home. Besides, how would people get down there? "In truth I am looking for a place to build my shop. Unfortunately I am rather... picky." Very lightly he chuckled, then turned his full attention back to the woman. Swiftly he shifted the book from and to hand, then extended his newly freed hand in the human greeting of hand-shaking. "It is a pleasure to meet you, miss. My name is Arthon, seller of oddities and antiqueties." After speaking his bowed his head slightly, then looked back up and added "But don't worry, I'm not going to try and sell you anything. Just meeting the people here."

"Mmm, I have always had a fondness for high places also, so peaceful and, for the most part, rather private. Not everyone likes heights much." she said softly, looking to him with a smile, which dropped for a moment to follow up in saying; "Not to say that company is unwelcome, rather that it is a nice change of pace and scenery to have a place to go to which is less .. involved .. than other places." she continued, smiling again. Her shyness showed in this statement as the slightest hint of pink rose to her light cheeks. She listened politely, nodding her head to show understanding and curiously arching a brow when he mentioned his wares. Smiling more brightly with his final comment, she nodded her head.
"I understand where you have come from. Finding the ideal location for a home or business is very important, be it for personal preference or strategic benefits." she said cheerfully. "If you would like, I could suggest a few places .. otherwise .. I would say you will have your work cut for you over the next few days. There are many locations which would suit your needs, in my opinion." she said softly, nodding her head once more. Though it was a bit out of order, she smiled and extended her hand in return, taking his up in her own. It was at this moment that she noticed something seemed just a bit off with him, but she decided to carry on. "I am Ziven. I have been here for many years and am quite knowledgable of this place and many of the residents." she said in a cool tone, sounding like she had said this before to others, though not in any sort of rehearsed tone. Her kindness was genuine and sincerely wanted to help. "When you are settled .. I may like to browse your antiques and oddities. I have always had a curiosity for such things."

Arthon began to laugh, which led to a small coughing fit. knowing the fit was coming the elf turned his head away from his company and covered his mouth with his shoulder. "I understand your meaning, but thank you for the clarity." He said when she tried to explain herself, a broad smile on his face. Though it sounded... awkward, his words were actually an old saying his people used to have, translated into the common language. There were some things he could not break away from despite how much he disliked his home city. His dislike was not evident on his face however, just the kind smile of a man who enjoyed being kind. "Being alone is wonderful, but being alone with the company of another is even batter. Something like that, yes?" He nodded his head, looking around the area for a moment. It really was quite beautiful here...
At her suggestion for help Arthon looked at her again and nodded eagerly. "That would help me quite a lot! I have already searched a bit, but was beginning to fear in would take me most of the week in order to come across a location I preferred. Your help could save me insurmountable amounts of time!" At the mention of her name his mind began to race once again, channeling the memories and thoughts of his 'informant.' All the information from it basically simply stated that she was a very kind person; but the elf did not need that information to know that this woman was kind. She also talked about wanting to browse his wares, which gave him an idea. After the handshake he put his book into both of his hands and mouthed a strange word. After that he opened the book to a page somewhere in the middle; laying inside the book was another book. There were no words on Arthon's book, which was black and bound in leather; but the smaller book seemed to be a dairy of some sort. "This book is a first hand account of the the founding of Alagaësia which, I believe, is one of the major places where elves gather. It a good find, and I will give it to you if you promise..." He smiled and held out the two books to Ziven. "... To be my first customer when I open shop."

Ziven looked to him with wide eyes, in awe that he would even have such a thing, let alone have it for sale .. even more so to her. Blue eyes shifted from him to the book and back again, looking both pleased and a bit suspicious. "My goodness .. I hardly know what to say." she said softly, continuing to look between him and the book. Her curiosity was at a high, she wanted to know more answers. "My apologies for prying .. are you not well?"

Ah yes. Strangers giving valuable things was often followed by suspicion. One would have though Arthon would have learned this by now. Unfortunately for him he was raised rather selflessly and found that giving people a sample of his wars was a good way to establish a constant flow of business. Oh well. When she mentioned his heath he smiled and shook his head a bit. "I am afraid that I have a very weak immune system. The world, to me, is a deadly thing; even the most pure air doesn't sit well in my lungs... though I do so enjoy the outside. It's worth the sickness." He nodded his head a bit, still holding out the books. Knowing that his arms would not be able to hold the books like this for long and tilted his head to the side a little bit. "I can always give this to you later, if you wish to get to know me first. I believe there is a human saying that is... Do not take candy from strangers. Yes?"

She paused again, considering his offer and at last held out her hand, accepting the book. "I am always a bit hesitant to accept such a splendid gift too quickly. It has caused me grief in the past. I can see that you are well meaning though. The other thought on my mind .. is that I should provide for you before taking .. which is more in my nature.she said softly, her cheeks again gaining color, more so than before. It was rare to meet someone who wanted to be so kind to another without knowing them, stranger so to do so with her. "My apologies for seeming rude .. I am a bit odd .. I will admit that much for the moment. My words and actions can seem cold or off putting, but I do not intend for them to."

Arthon nodded his head in understanding, having been in a similar position. Well, it seemed like a similar position. The elf did not know what had actually happened to this woman. Smiling kindly Arthon closed his own book and brought it to his side. "You cannot always give first, isn't it nice to sometimes receive before you give?" He chuckled a bit, trying not to cause another fit. At her apology he simply lifted his hand and waved it dismissively. "Every person is odd in some sense, and you do not strike me as someone who is naturally cold. I don't need to know why you have cold moments, but I will not old it against you." As a strong breeze came he closed his eyes and inhaled deeply through his nose. It was salty, yet also carried the scent of flowers and grass. It was an amazing smell. Once it Arthon opened his eyes and looked at his new friend. "So, where do you think I should set up my store?"

She smiled, holding the book with as much care as one may give to a child. Nodding her head, she smiled more brightly. There was a pause for a moment, her eyes darted to another passing but quickly returned to Arthon. "Aye, this is true, I would expect. I suppose I simply feel the need to justify myself to others when I feel I have been rude." she said with a bit of a smile, giving a small laugh. "Indeed, let us walk then?"
