She looked at him, "What's wrong?" Then, upon his comment, she replied, "Indeed they should, I payed my share of the rent for that house...." She smiled and laughed softly. Her melodic laugh chimed through the dead air but twas very soft. No one could have heard it except for Rauvn. The others were a bit to far off. She sighed and continued walking.

Rauvn chuckled nervously. "I'm...not used to physical contact. I've kept to myself for the most part." You're a moron, boy, you know that? Rauvn chuckled again. "Well, let's see just what's going on, shall we?"

And Then It Was Over

Autumn is the b*****d child of all the seasons. Summer is time for vibrant greens and blues, winter the age of white and dull yellows and spring recalls the scent of dew and cool, wood-scented breezes. What is autumn? A mix of the other three seasons, but replacing summer's glow with a pale fade, winter's wonderland with ghastly jagged yellowed leaves and spring's life with the first signs of death. A polar opposite of her sisters, Autumn loomed over New York and marked Central Park her own.

Trenton noted that a war was raging with each breath the ex-greenery took in, all of the skeletons growing dumb crooks and bends, groaning into submission and forced to listen to the crackle of their own young under the soles of the passers-by, each leaf now bearing no resemblance to a shard of an oak's crown.

His cigarette left a hazy trail behind him as it was forced back into full lips after the rich first drag. Dark locks and strands were kept well away from his pale, well-formed features. The pony tail danced with each "clack, clack, clack" of boot soles under him, a drum roll that incessantly beat on cobblestone as he roamed to particularly nowhere. Autumn made people so very interestingly strange.

The silver swastika gleamed dully under stray rays of afternoon sun through jagged fingers of wood, piercing, sometimes uncomfortably to Trenton's eyesight. He withdrew his hand back into a midnight-tinted overcoat and checked the pack of cigarettes back in. His gaze straight into the horizon of decaying trees, he simply continued to take his quick strides deeper into the park.

*Rogue walked down through the city and then advanced to the park. She lit a cigarette casually and strode at a slow but even pace. She kept an eye out for trouble*

*She moved quickly through the park after she got a call from a contact. Another assignment. She flipped the phone shut and headed towards the club, several blocks away.*

A femenine figure paced its way in the opposite direction, toward him. He paid little attention, as he was much too busy enjoying himself with macabre metaphors on what the seasons were like. So very much like Trenton. A thinker.

She smiled sadly at him, "I'm sorry. Would you prefer that I not lead you thus?" she asked with a sideways glance at him. Yes, he is very peculiar.....indeed he is. Why hasn't he been in contact with many people. When, how, does he feed? Goodness.....I really must look into these things before I do them. Outloud, however, she sighed and waited for his response. She'd kept her thoughts carefully out of her outer mind which seemed still and yet flowed as a river does.

Without looking at her, he replied, "No, it's fine." He smiled again. "Are you okay, you seem...uncertain of something?" He glanced in her direction and though his eyes could not be seen, concern radiated from him.

She offered a small laugh, one of a rather bllithe nature. "No, I'm not uncertain about much of anything." She smiled again. "Just about whether or no the path ahead will be flooded or not." She smiled, even though he couldn't see her face. She continued to hold onto the sleeve of his jacket and walk along. She wondered how he got around before while wearing the blindfold that seemed to heighten his senses. She sighed again, looking out across the clear sky of the night. So beautiful ..... so majestic ..... so daunting. It shared the same fate as she, eternity....

Rauvn continued to sniff the air and cast himself out for unseen dangers. "They seem...riled up." He grinned and then frowned suddenly. "It's been a few days since I fed. What about you?"

She shook her head, "No, I'm quite contented, thank you. I don't feed as often as most vampires. After all, I'm not exactly like most vampires...." She smiled. "So, no, I'm good..." She smiled. Her soft voice was kind as she said these words.

"I think I need to find a blood bank or something along those lines." Rauvn seemed to drift into his own thoughts momentarily as he was led along by Alistair. "How much further?" He sniffed the air again.

"Just across the street beyond that gate there....." She guestured infront of her person. She had careful hold of his jacket and was guiding his blinded steps with a very delicate sort of hand she didn't wish to hold too tightly, as that would possibly make him cringe again. "As for a blood bank....I know of a bar...."

She must think that she needs to lead me around. She doesn't know that I can still "see"., he thought to himself, momentarily forgetting that she could hear his thoughts. "A bar? With blood? And I wouldn't have to jump a mortal?" His voice seemed to sound skeptical, but it also seemed to hold hope. "That would be...wonderful."

She shrugged. "Well, since I don't have to, I'll just let you go...." She smiled at his last comment, "It is.....and the taste is somehow very similar to that of wine.....though, it's blood, of that I can assure you." She smiled again. "Every so often, however, my need to hunt kicks in and hunt I do." She shrugged, having decided to be honest.
