Oh you miss understand dear Elf, 6 feet is the distance between my army and his death strike missiles. The actual table is 8ftx4ft and it was quadrant set-up. lol good times!

I'd love to see the force organization charts you lot used for that game. Three Death Strikes along with a battery of other tanks?

Lady Blodwynn THREE Death Strikes? I'd love to see that in a game. All I can say is that the opponent better end the game -really- fast.

grab the enemy by the belt drop pod army, blood angels jump pack army, bike army gets into the hth before you can say "countdown" also wolf scouts wth meltas and meltabombs wreck the deathstrikes nicely Marbo can blow them up nicely too... Vendettas can snipe them out nicely due to height advantage let me not start about infiltrating fleet-footed terminators from Shrike, and entire army flanking from Korsarro Khan

Evok, your posts are getting more and more confusing every day. One moment you are handing out tactics and the other you're on about guard, then you're back to anti-guard tactics.
What gives?

sorry, my outrage at such level of powergaming - 3x most deadly weaposn in the guard arsenal... just forces me into "find a counter" mode - including guard solutions for blue on blue engagements...

Okay, I've got an Executioner that I am most likely going to roll without any plasma sponsons, what should I mount in the hull? Lascannon or heavy bolter?

Sorry old bean but I find that you are overreacting a wee bit. Yes the missiles are powerful, but have you read the rules? Launching a missile takes a while to achieve.

I'd take Lascannon, if your Executioner doesn't finish the target off, then the Lascannon should.

205 points for a single BS3 tank.. gonk
And to think that the other tank will be a Punisher with three heavy bolters clocking in at 200 points crying

If your taking a Punisher, you need to take Pask, in a game I had against Nids, he made all the difference in scoring enough hits on the Carnifex to kill it, very lucky.

Lt. Brookman I'm not taking Pask until there's a proper model for him. sweatdrop Make a proper model for him! You've got enough Guard bits to practically make a whole list.
