Hermit Omega Why? It's a good saying to live by. I feel like it's equivalent to blowing off any complaint one has. It's okay to complain, especially about the sorts of legitimate things you were talking about (not even really complaining either). It's just a weird tick of mine, like my inability to tolerate eating noises.

I don't see it as blowing off the complaint, more just admitting that there is nothing to be done about it.....
i would think you would like the statement, being a pessimist..
i also hate food noises....

Oh the topic of school debt, it's pretty shitty and I am in the same boat Omega. 20K in debt~
My brother went to AI and they really ******** him over.
Anyways it seems we have already moved past this topic but I wanted to put in my two cents. biggrin
I thirdly hate the sounds people make when they eat. Gross.

I didn't used to hate the sounds of eating, but then I read Watchmen.
One word: RONCH!!!!
There are no 'sound effects' in Watchmen. Rorschach is unique amongst his peers in that he actually MAKES sound effects. They're inside his speech bubble. He's actually audibly saying "Ronch, ronch, ronch" while he eats.
Now every time I hear someone eating I only imagine "RONCH, RONCH, RONCH!"

Yea. I'm not sure about the pacing. but we shall see.
