[Elleon ~ Carribean Sea ~ Dutchman's Deck]

The dark agromancer winked at Alice after her appearance, drumming her nails on the railing beside her. Then Nick reached his breaking point. Elleon clasped a hand over her mouth as her face turned pink. Audible snorts could be heard coming her--her attempts at concealing her laughter were failing. She didn't even have to say anything more, it was enough to get one rise out of the stupid b*****d. As soon as her giggle fit had subsided she sighed and got back to her feet.

"Oh man, that was great, made my day," Elleon smirked, wiping a laughter induced tear from her eye. "Okay, well I had just dropped by to see what was up, and obviously not much. I'm off to the salon, the ladies are welcome to join me. I wouldn't be very good arm candy if I didn't look my best."

With a snicker, the small blonde turned and opened up a portal. She didn't need to say anything to Ajora--he knew where to go when he needed to. . . unwind, and goodness knew after that little episode and the day to come he'd be running to her soon enough. After one quick glance back at the group she stepped through the portal, leaving it open for those who wished to join her.

[ Ajora : Caribbean : Dutchman's Deck ]

As Saint continued to antagonize Nicholas, Ajora bowed his head and massaged the bridge of his nose between his thumb and first two fingers. Then Nicholas went and had his outburst, and Ajora was left... relatively speechless, actually. When Azrael called out via the wind, Ajora didn't seem to budge, though he sent a message via the charms.

"These neophytes will be the death of me."

As Elleon laughed and left, Ajora sighed under his breath. Quietly, down the deck a bit, a Corridor opened, and out stepped a second Ajora. He came alone, but he was carrying the Trident in his grasp as he strolled toward the main mast, the Corridor closing behind him.

"I'll only say this one more," they spoke simultaneously, giving an odd effect due to their opposing positions on either side of the group. "The lot of you will respect everyone here at my welcome, or you'll bite your tongue--off, if you have to."

"I created you newborns once, I can create you from scratch again," they said, the one on the deck lightly flourishing the Trident in the glimmering morning light. "I've already killed a few of your number, either for insolence or uselessness, and I've no qualms with thinning the herd further. As far as you all should be concerned, every moment in my presence--in our presence," he noticeably glanced to Kuro Oni, and then to Azrael, and then to Alice, smiling somewhat. "--is another moment of judgment. If you can't work well together as a team, you can leave or be put to other, more substantial uses. Capiché?"

[Anthony ~.~ Shipwreck Cover ~.~ Black Pearl]

Anthony stared at John in disbelief. "Replace your legacy!?" he said, sounding rather horrified. "No one's gonna die today! Or tomorrow! Or the day after tomorrow!" He gestured to the both of them with his finger. "You and I," he tilted his head behind him at the others, "And the rest of them hooligans are gonna fix this and get home--alive and in one piece. So stop talking like the next battle will be our last. We've gotten this far, right?"

The young man paused and looked down at the waters below. "And we'll get James back, too..." An image of a flame of darkness flickered in his mind.

The knight turned his attention back to John. "Unless you were just kidding... in which case, lulz all around!" He couldn't help but chuckle.

[Lucian ~.~ Caribbean ~.~ Flying Dutchman]

Lucian stepped back once Nicholas raged. He completed the high five himself, then lowered his arms to his sides. "That's coo', just leave me hangin' like that. I don't mind."

"These guys are gonna get me killed before I even get a chance to meet my original--or worse, before I get to do ANYTHING AT ALL!" the Replica thought as he glanced from Dusk to Saint.

The short blonde girl left. In fact, her leaving made the young man realize he hadn't paid much attention to the original Replicas since they all started appearing. He glanced about him, taking note of the others. Kuro-Oni he already had the pleasure of meeting. The other one who seemed to be ignoring them all, but perked up when Nicholas let out a burst of wind, and the other girl who appeared shortly after the blonde. They all were quite seasoned, as opposed to the new bunch. If anyone had the right to complain or ask another to prove his or her worth it would've been them and not the newbies.

When the second Ajora appeared, Lucian did the shifty, squinty, suspicious eyes. When they both started talking, the Replica couldn't help but smile. His words alone were hardcore. He'd hate to see the man in action. When he finally finished speaking, the Fallen Knight saluted Ajora and said,
"Capiché, sir!" He lowered his hand. "Now what?" he asked. "Do we go off and fight some mobs?" He became animated and started fencing with imaginary opponents. "Or gun down some newbs?" He pretended to man a machine gun and even went as far as to make the 'duh-duh-duh-duh-duh' machine gun fire sound effect. "Or, you know...," he sat down on the deck beside Nick, "I don't mind sitting around s'more either."

[Dusk : Caribbean : Dutchman's Deck]

'So much for him not controlling and leading everyone in his path. Stupid power hungry worm. Dusk thought to herself with a loud sneeze after Ajora's speech.

"Heh, whatever," Dusk said after her sneeze, "You seem to be forgetting that I don't follow your skinny a**. I follow no one's orders. I am here for my own reasons. You maybe the one responsible for my being born, but that means I'll give you the same respect as I'd give any other fat a** mother."

Dusk soon let out a loud bored yawn as she headed over towards the portal that Elleon opened for the others to follow, "Well, boys, I am leaving this stinky algae infested joint and going to the salon" With that the red haired replica stepped through the portal Elleon opened. As Yoko followed after her and her smaller foxes disappeared.

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Black Pearl]

Dawn looked over the edge of the ship, tuning out the conversations and movements on board. Demyx and Axel were talking with Leon. Anthony and John were enjoying each others company. The pirates were being pirates. Meanwhile she was just there standing alone looking at the sea. Her hand gripping the railing of the ship tightly. As she was standing there slightly a portion of what John said caught her ear. Something about if someone died. Then Anthony answered him. As Dawn came closer, she could feel her heart skip a beat.

"Dang straight no one is going to be dying here!" Dawn said as she got closer to the men smiling playfully, "If you die I am going to the Underworld and drag you out myself. That goes to both of you." Though she was smiling and had a teasing tone to her voice, it had an underlined seriousness and pain to it.

'The last thing I want is to loose someone else during all of this...' she thought to herself sadly as she rubbed her arm slowly looking down.

{Kyle : Atlantica : City ->Throne Room}

"Well, let's just say I think I might know the way. Maybe we'll find a fish we can ask or something." He said with a shrug. He kinda remembered the way. If nothing else, they could just look for the biggest building and work their way towards that.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~Some Time Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"See, I told you I totes knew where to go." He proudly exclaimed to Sayrike. "We barely even got lost." Pfft. Getting lost. That was like an insult to him. Of course he knew the way. Pfft.
Swimming into the throne room, he headed over towards the group for tactics fun times. "Sorry we're a bit late. But on the plus side, we found Yuffie!"
[ Kyle ; Sora ; Seymour ; Yuffie : Atlantica : Throne Room ]
"Yeah, you guys gettin' some strat goin' on?" she asked, swimming up beside the group; Joe had also shown up by this point, so everyone was present and accounted for.
"Yes'm," Kyle nodded, his arms crossed as he carefully tread water with his fin. "Now that we're all here, I'd say it's safe to start. So, first thing's first--Seymour, the amplifying magic you set up for the mermaid princesses, how does it work?"
"It is simple magic, really," he began, shrugging his arms slightly; even when modest, his voice held its lofty tone. "Their magic is projected by their voices. The room, then, was made to take their magically-attuned voices and play them over the entire battlefield. A massive effect range for no additional mana."
"So if another with musical magic were to be placed in the room?"
"The same effects would apply..."
All eyes, for the moment, immediately turned to Jenny. Kyle gave a brief smile.
"And that, Jenny, is where you should be," he said, briefly raising a brow. "And, if possible, the Siren herself. You are her summoner, right?"
"A musical Aeon... the potential boons our defenses would have would be nothing short of magnificent," Seymour mused, taking his chin in his elongated hand as he thought.
{Bobbi .:. Atlantica .:. Throne Room}
Bobbi nodded along with Kyle and Seymour as they spoke. She was concentrating hard on what everyone was saying, and filing the information away in her head. For all that she was an air-head, when she made an effort to remember something, it tended to be permanent.
"I'm planning on roaming above the battle field, unless anyone else has any better ideas," she said. Her tone was completely serious for once, and she crossed her arms as she met each person's eyes. "With my bow I do much better at a distance, and I'd be able to see most shifts in enemy movements from above. If I spot something, I'll relay it through the charms. From what I saw when the vision of the army was passed around, it looked like most of the Heartless and other creatures were primarily staying near the sea bed. I know a lot of them like to range upwards, but I'm betting they're going to focus on the city. Of course, I'll come in closer as necessary, but I figure we should have at least one person with a vantage that will give us a view of what the blighters are up to, and the mobility to do something about it." The Archer looked around at the group again, then focused her gaze on Kyla.
"Kyla, you're the only other person in our group who has any kind of range that I know of," she continued. "But with your Lotus Shield, I think you'd be a lot more help down with the rest of the group and melee fighters. I'm offensive only; you can provide some defense." Bobbi shrugged. "This is, of course, only my opinion. You know where you'd be of the most use better than I do. I just wanted to throw that out there, just in case it was in the 'things that need to be said' list, and if you hadn't thought of it yourself."
Sayrike::Atlantica::Throne Room
"See, I told you I totes knew where to go." He proudly exclaimed to Sayrike. "We barely even got lost." Sayrike could not roll her eyes back any farther--a useless effort anyway, since the mask covered them--but her exaggerated, playful body movement made her sentiments toward Kyle's remark and his use of slang clear. "If by 'barely' you mean--" (and here she held up her index and middle fingers to simulate quotation marks) "--'totes,' then yes, I'd agree." They had to ask a passing herd of seahorses for directions through the labyrinth of the city streets. Sayrike had enjoyed her time with Kyle, though--he was funny, polite, and entertaining, so it hadn't so much been "getting lost" as it had been "time for playful banter." Even Yuffie was a bit of a character to be around after they had found her. However, playtime was over, and it was time to get down to business (to defeat the Huns! Oh, no wait, they've already gone and done that, I think.)
Battle talk got underway. "Well, if we're offering up strengths, I'm mostly good at shielding as well, with some long-distance attacks. But I think Kyla would be more versatile than me with attacking, since it seems she can create what she wants with her magic." It was true; in a horde-type onslaught, Sayrike's abilities didn't work as well. It was better for her to single out a few enemies to copy and tailor her attacks for. She'd feel more comfortable with a solid weapon of some sort, but she didn't think anyone had a foil or a naginata lying around, which were the only two weapons she had ever taken lessons for. Oh well, life dealt me another hand this time around.
[Axel: Black Pearl biggrin eck]
The unmistakable sound of Fearless’s voice brought the red head to attention and the nobody slanted his sights on him before pulling his usual deviational shrug. “That begs the question doesn’t it? It’s the only thing I know I truly want- if there’s any sliver of desire left. I can’t honestly say- once I have my change of heart I’ll have to get back to yah on that.”
It wasn’t much of answer to Leon’s question but exactly could he say? Making assumptions about his decision if he got his heart back- from the perspective of someone who had none at the moment- wasn’t the most reliable view point to use.
Pushing himself off form the railing he crossed the distance between them and crossed his arms in thought.
“If I recall my old life back then well enough- I was quite the firecracker, even before I had these powers. I liked a good challenge- who knows; maybe the idea of sticking it out will appeal to me. Wanna make any bets?”
[Kyla: Atlantica: throne Room]
‘I don’t think there’s anyone on our own end who’s that foolish-…then again. We do have nobodies who tempt fate ‘- was the thought reply towards Joe. He sounded about as friendly and cuddly as a badger!
When Kyle and Sayrike returned the artist waved to them, “ Welcome back- and Yuffie you say?”
Yuffie…Yuffie.. hmmm she was the girl in the yellow jump suit or… -no it was the ninja right? Where exactly was her reference game again? Was it 8 or 7?
Her wondering were answered as the said girl arrived swimming up with them with that impish grin plastered to her face. Kyla felt glad she had nothing of value on her- last time she checked Yuffie really liked things that were small, shiny, round and could summon creatures to do your bidding!
Seymour soon joined them- looking as fabulously creepy as ever and soon their group was complete.
Winging it didn’t seem very prudent with Ajora sporting some new tricks and minions.” She replied to her and settled into silence and Kyle began the briefing.
When the subject of the mermaids being boosted by Jenny came to attention Kyla smiled at her thinking again of the little extra trinket she had in her pocket- If she really needed to take out the big guns with Siren, Jenny would have that in her arsenal.
When Bobbi made her suggestion Kyla flipped through her book to assess what she had.
“Bobbi is correct that I have some more range; I have my basic defense magic shields, then on top of that- like Sayrike mentioned, I can also manipulate my surroundings to a certain point- my practical pictomancy allows for rudimentary manipulation of the battle field. Barries, walls, pillars. These are easily converted for the underwater. My practical Pictomancy is good both offensively and defensively- there is one other thing though-”
She looked up from her book to each one of them. “ If I’m correct some of you may still have those summon equips I gave to your earlier before our group split. Jenny still has one, does anyone still have there’s? Kyle? Joe? Bobbi hmmm-“she looked through her book, jumping back a chapter or two.
Also she'd have to take some time aside ot study Sayrike and Kyle's abilities as well in order to create a summon equip for them in the future.
“ I can’t re-call if I gave you that Lunar Bow or not Bobbi. Also Joe- would you like to utilize that new ability we refined back at the ship at some point? If so you'd need to ask someone to be your donating partner ahead of time so I can prepare it."
"Just thinking- this power you now have at your disposal is something Ajora would not see coming. Anything new that he’s not seen us use maybe best sprung on him later. Like when he's most vulnerable- if such a chance arises.”
So there were massive tactical advantages with her being with the group- or holding the front by the city with Bobbi above, but one thing to keep in mind was that Kyla's specialty was making others around her stronger.
[ Kyle ; Sora ; Seymour ; Yuffie : Atlantica : Throne Room ]
"Bobbi brings up a valid point that I was going to come to next--we'll need mobile eyes," he explained, looking back around. "People with a good vantage point should definitely transmit what they see to Jenny while she's in the room. That way, she and Siren will know which musical boons are necessary for the moment."
"If Bobbi can fulfill that role, then all the better. Personally, I was going to ask that Kyla try to do so, due to topic number three: defense. Specifically," he paused, a small frown coming to his features. Whatever he was about to say obviously annoyed him somewhat. "--mine. I'm going to be on the backside of the battlefield, completely focused on making sure my spells go off without a hitch. Any interruption and it's likely the entire web will collapse. I had originally planned on asking Kyla to fulfill that role because her magic allows her to affect essentially anything she can see or envision with her mind, giving her--as you guys said--a great range. She can affect the battlefield and defend as necessary. And with that sort of vantage point, she'd be able to transmit back to Jenny the general outline of the battlefield, while Bobbi goes through the specifics."
"If you're good at defending as well, Sayrike, then it couldn't hurt to have you around," he said, turning to face her with violet eyes. "The more defense I have, the longer I can withstand any pressure and give others time to come help out if it comes down to it. I don't expect this set-up to last the entire battle, either, so it's not like you would be out of commission for the whole thing. It's mostly just a mass-thinning measure."
"The amplifying room will also need defense. More than any other location," he explained, now looking to Seymour. "That's where I think you and Yuffie would do best, Maester. I dislike having to cut out our strongest mage and our most agile fighter, but those boons affect the hundreds of soldiers out here, so they take priority."
"And what about me?" Sora asked, raising an eyebrow. He already had a fairly good idea where he was going--where he always went--but wanted to hear it out to be sure. "Front lines?"
"Front and center, just like the rest of our key fighters," he said, nodding. "Keep in mind, though, we are a defense. So long as Atlantica stands, we're victorious. We just need to hold the line until they run out of minions and monsters."
[Saint.:Caribbean:.Flying Dutchman]
"No problem broski," Saint retorted as he smiled softly at Nich. He silently made his way back into isolation toward the opposite end of the ship to await further orders. He needed a break from the tension.
[John.:Caribbean:.Black Pearl]
John laughed heartily at the reactions of the two. It felt good to have the kind of comradery that existed between them. Whether or not it was forced upon them was irrelevant. He knew they would have his back, and he would have theirs.
"Ok ok," he laughed, "No one's dying. I promise you that..."
He looked out over the ocean to the horizon, and breathed in the fresh air. He floated up onto the rail and sat down looking out.
"When do you think this little shindig's gonna start then?"
[Dani :: Atlantica :: Throne Room]
“Maybe I can be of assistance,” Dani spoke, breaking her long silence. “I am good at mid-range combat because of my chakrams and also we are in water, which is my element.”
Dani then looked specifically over to Kyle. “Is there anywhere you would like me to be in your plan? Dani asked the leader of the group.
[ Ashley :: Caribbean :: Dutchman's Deck ]
“Glad that drama is semi over,” Ashley spoke, her water clones in front of her due to the fighting that had ensued.
“I guess I will stay here,” Ashley said looking at Ajora “I am interested to see how all of this works out. I at least understand how to try and keep a level head.”
[Noelle .:. Prote ~ Atlantica ~ Throne Room ]
Noelle stayed quiet, knowing exactly where she would be--on the front lines with Sora, Joe, Kyle M, and some others. Her concern was still about the Geists, though. There were quite a few of the monsters out there, and they were a little trickier than the heartless when it came to being on the receiving end of attacks. No sooner had she started to wonder when Prote would be back did she catch him strolling into the throne room beside her, very easily able to feel the cloud of cold water around him.
"I have gathered the information you asked for." He said directly to her. He knew it was easiest to communicate with her because she knew him most.
The small blonde glanced from him at the others and said, "You guys keep going, I'll find out what I can about the Geists and follow you up."
[Jenny :: Atlantica :: Throne Room]
Jenny looked up with a look of surprise on her face as Kyle mentioned her. Naturally, it all made sense to have her there though a pang of longing echoed through her heart. She wanted to be with the others, where she could see them. Nonetheless, she gave a quick nod; knowing full well that her powers would best be served elsewhere and that she could still protect everyone... even more-so. She just had to trust them.
Siren on the other hand seemed far more delighted, silks rustled as her attention was caught. .:Finally~! Something to do! We'll give them a performance that'll knock 'em dead~ ...literally.:. A melodious laughter followed after like the chiming of bells.
The mage tried to convert some of her summon's confidence into her own as she took a deep breath, looking to Kyle as her determination flared. All annoyance from the previous night had long dissolved into forgotten songs and in its place, guilt settled. Neither Kyle nor Kyla had slept a wink and as much as they tried to hide it; it showed to her like an untuned violin in an orchestra. "I'll try my best to watch over all of you!" Her head bobbed slightly in a slight bow, a habit she had yet to dispel. Then, she looked to Bobbi and Kyla with a smile. "I'll entrust my vision over the battlefield to you then," Jenny added, still a little flustered that so much weight had shifted onto her shoulders. She couldn't let them down, nor did she plan to. Not now. Not ever. She was going to light up the field with explosions.
