Arain's face saddened. His joyful aura dimmed. "My mother was Aerith Gainsborough. My father was Zack Fair. They both died... To protect someone... Cloud Strife was his name..." He looked up. "After she died I took to wandering. Eventually I came to a nice person, who took me in. Her name was Aniakaru. She died when SOLDIER invaded, looking for me. After that, I started wandering again, and met Kirin. Stayed with him for a while, then went and built myself this house."
