I'm having a hard time waking up this morning. Luckily it's my day off. I've felt drained and exhausted all week so it's kind of nice in a way to be so lazy.

Yeah. But the Director was also responsible for movies like Deathproof, so I guess we can't be too angry at him for his taste in graphic violence lol.

Hmmm. I don't remember all those details. o___O; I know we got to know you better in the Ron/Draco thread. Hmm...

Akikko
I'm sorry for disappearing for the past week or so, guys! I had a hell of a week, and then, right as I was getting to feel tons better/have free time, I had a busy birthday weekend. I shall reply to the chat thread posts in more depth in a bit! <3 And then reply to the roleplays. Hopefully. If I don't have homework to do during this free period. e_e

Kat and I are gonna play Legend of Zelda today. It will help inspire our muses for a OoT-based roleplay. whee I've been playing with various ideas for a new bad guy. 3nodding Ganondorf and Sheik's son from the future, perhaps. I'll have to do some imagining. XD

I decided to get my shift covered for today and not go to work. This paycheck is kind of the playcheck of the month anyway, so I don't think it'll hurt to take a mental health day. ^_^

How goes everyone's week?
PostPosted: Fri Jan 22, 2010 12:52 pm

Mental health days are great. Hope you're having a fun day off with your Zelda. :O Y'know, I always thought Zelda was the guy. O_o And then I learned Zelda was the princess.

I was so confused as a child because of that....

XD Hahaha. Dork.

MY WEEK WAS GREAT. I spent the past 4ish days at my Cousin's house in the middle of nowhere. God I love that place, so much so that I really hate coming back to my apartment. D:

AT least until school starts next week, then it'll be fun again. ^_^

They've got such a beautiful place though, a 1/4 a mile of driveway, way out in the middle of nothing, you can see trees and snow and hills for ages and ages, and their house faces to the east, so when we walk the dog in the evening, we walk back facing the sunset, and it's always awesome.

<3 Great place to relax, not to mention the bed I stay in is the softest bed ever. It's got a memory foam top thing, and a padded top on top of that, so it makes it so soft and comfy.

Mmmmmmmmm, Imma get me one of those some day. IT's like sleeping on a gigantic, fluffy pillow. :3

YES.

New Characters! biggrin IMAGINE THEM TO BE AN EVIL ICE CREAM MAN. With a seemingly innocent like.... ice cream truck. :3

Ice cream man? I want ice cream....

Okay, so today I was supposed to have like nine hours to write s**t while Naz was at work...

My nephew comes running to my door just as I get home from dropping Naz off; 1. He's supposed to be in school, and 2. He's not supposed to come over until 5pm regardless.....

So, apparently his mother needs me to watch him because she has a funeral to go to blah, blah, blah. Says she'll only be gone until 4pm. So, like a dumb mother ******** I agree. Sure, that gives me time to hang with him, clean and then I'll still have like four hours to write something.

She didn't get back until 7pm. -_-;;;

I have to leave here at 8:45 to get Naz.

I have a clean house and no ******** fan-fiction written.

Bah.

......I only ever seem to b***h on here anymore.... Damnitt, man.

I did find a few decent fanfics online though. Rookwood/Luna and Bellatrix/Alice Longbottom. Maybe that'll make up for the lack of my own creativity.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 22, 2010 7:03 pm

b***h away, woman. :3 VENTING IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL. And we enjoy going 'DAMMIT THAT WAS INCONSIDERATE OMFG WE LOVE YOU WTF AT LEAST YOU GOT TO READ SOME GOOD FANFICTION! (Was it sexy?)'

Yeah. :3

I dunno if you've ever read it, but there's a really good Voldemort/Luna fanfiction on fanfiction.net.... can't remember the name, think It has 'moon' in the title thoguh. :3

I'm reading HP crossovers. Mostly CSI and stuff. Hehe. I love CSI/Bones/Criminal Minds/whatever and harry potter crossovers. XD

Waaaaait. How old is your nephew anyways? O_o

But at least your house is clean? :3

BONES OMFG I LOVVVVE THAT SHOWWWW. <3333 I enjoy the plots and the weird trivia provided, and I'm absolutely in love with the characters. The writers and actors need some big friggan kudos for such witty dialogue sequences.

Dylan is 8. And I asked her - the fanfiction was quite sexy, apparently. ^_^

I'm glad you've gotten to spend time at your cousin's houuuuse. <3

Days like this suck so hardcore. D: Kat goes in at 6 AM until 3, but I work 2 PM until 11 PM. Therefore, she brings me to work early on her lunch, and we don't see each other from sunrise to almost midnight. CRUEL. gonk

Not to mention this morning I couldn't really get back to sleep because my stomach's been upset. I got around 45 minutes to an hour of additional sleep after waking up at 5 with Kat.

Trying to listen to positive music to wake myself up and put myself in the right mindset for a lonely 9 hour shift.

Awww! That's terribly sucky, Naz. *cuddlecuddlecuddle*

I'm reaaaaaaaally sick. e__e I've got a runny nose, a cough, a headache, tired eyes, and bowel problems D:

I blame Darrell. XP

Oh, did I tell you guys that we thought for a while that Darrell had lupus? We were really worried, 'cause he apparently tested positive with it a year or so ago, but it was one of those 50/50 tests. Vitiligo is a sign of lupus, as is rheumatoid arthritis (which runs in his family), so he got blood tests for it. Thankfully, they came back negative for arthritis, lyme disease, and lupus. Buuuut they make think he has mono. Which means I might have mono.

SAVE ME. D:

I think lupus was what they kept misdiagnosing Kat's mother with. As well as lime disease. House has a running joke of "it's NOT lupus!" that I see throughout the fandom, so I wonder if it's a common mistake then?

I hope neither of you have mono. D: Ugh I hope you feel better, lover.

D: Poor Naz and Kat. Schedule conflicts suck balls and I hope you don't have a day like this for a while again. x_x

JANINE HAS THE KISSING DISEASE. O_o

.... it's always lupus.

Except in this case.

Noooooooo!! I'm sorry everyone's been so sick lately. D: .... please don't transfer disease over to me through the computer.

*Gives everyone chicken broth*

I'm glad Darrell doesn't have Lupus though. D: It's bad.

I think I'm still in shock, but I'm finding what just happened to me funny.

So, as Naz stated, I took her into work on my lunch. As I was driving back to my work(I have to drive this long a** stretch of road that's like the middle of nowwhere stereo-typical farmland Mid-west) my car started to make this really loud grumbling noise. My car(his name is Moody because he has so many ******** from the two accidents) has a brake leak and an oil leak, well, I've been sick the past two weeks and whenever I went out to get in the car I just drove Jess to work then home again etc.

I didn't once check the oil.

When I got back to work I decided I'd just put some oil in it and let it run for a few minutes after I was done for the day and was going to head home. I got three full bottles in him and he's still not as full as he should be.

I start to drive out, s'all fine and peachy, seems the oil worked.

Then I get about half way down the stretch of the middle of ******** nowhere road, no phone, don't have Jess' Mom's new number on me so no one to call for help even if I did have access to a phone, my tire decides that it no longer wants to exsist.

Apparently, not only was my engine ******** up earlier, but my tire had gone flat.

I thought maybe I could push through and make it to the first gas station, but it was just shreds of rubber and I was about to be driving on the damn rim, so I pulled over.

A complete Godsend is the fact that on that stretch of nowhere road are the military bases and houses, so this really sweet, amazing soldier happened to be driving back from Derby(The small town I work in) having picked up some supplies because he was making dinner for his little squad/buddies and saw my dilemma.

He changed my tire for me, told me that I ought to go put some air in the spare so it didn't blow on me and went on his way. He commented on the fact that he helps people out with flat tires on that road all the time. Another guy had actually stopped to see if we needed help while he was working on getting the bad tire off, so that seriously overwhelmed me.

You don't really think people will stop and help each other out anymore, ya know?

So, I got back in my car and got to the first gas station so I could put air in the tire and buy one of those tire pressure gauge things.

At this point my adrenaline was still full force because that had seriously freaked me out. It really violently ******** shakes when you try to drive on a ******** wheel. And the thought of not having a vehicle again terrifies me because Jess and I would both be royally ******** and we'd probably lose everything without the ability to get around. Also, I wasn't about to freak out in front of some nice stranger over something so minimal(at least to him) as a flat tire.

My hands were shaking like crazy, but I managed to put a little air in the tire before I went in to buy the gauge to see if I had enough in there. Unfortunately, because my hands weren't steady and because the gauge is a cheap piece of s**t, the little needle thing broke off in the ******** tire thing. I tried to put more air in it anyway, and I think it got in there.

So, I over-paranoid-ly drove home, praying the entire time that the spare held and didn't blow. I have no idea how any of this works and how sturdy those things really are. The soldier said it has like a 300 mile life span, so I'm hoping that will last until Friday when I can just go buy a new tire.

The tools Jorma(No-a**) has here at the house don't include the needle-nose pliers I need to try and get the needle thing out so I can go get a better one at Wal-Mart and try again so it's all safe and secure. I'm just going to wait until he or my sister-in-law get home to see if they have a pair elsewhere/at all.

If worse comes to worse and I can't get it filled in by the time Jess gets off work I'll just have to carefully drive over to her work and pick her up anyway. It should be okay.

I also need to go out and get some band aids because I ******** up my fingers trying to pull the needle free when it first broke off. I think I was a little hysterical. But I don't really want to drive in the car again because I'm still afraid of that damn spare.

I'm coming to understand that I do better in dire situations involving my own misfortunes with someone else around because I put up a front and just go into leader mode and it doesn't hit me quite as hard as when I have to deal with it all alone with no help/other influences.

I just can't believe how hard the ******** car shook before I pulled over. My shoulders hurt a little bit from it.

I still have the shredded tire in my trunk. It's pretty gnarly.

O.O

Holy crap, that all really sucks. Well, not all, I mean the army guy was cool, that's nice. But holy frig, your car.

I really really hope you can get Jess home from work without incident so everythign will work out alright. Crossing my fingers and knocking on wood and all sorts of non-jinx-y things.

O_o Holy crap though.

With the pressure gauge thing.... air might just slowly leak from your tire... or when you're driving it might just fly out and then the air would leak faster.

So driving carefully/a bit slowly would probably be best.

Having the only thing you have for transportation potentially break down though, I mean, that is freaky. D: I wish someone had been there to help you. sad

At least you didn't get into a bad accident though, thankfully. I hope nothing goes wrong when you go to get Naz tonight.

It's okay. Not ten minutes after I posted Jim(My sister-in-law's dad, he lives next door to them, so four houses down from us) saw that I had a spare on my car and went and got his younger room mate(He's like 38-ish) Eric to come help me. He took me up to the gas station and we got the tire all filled with air and stuff.

It's all okay, I hope. Xp

Now, I'ma go play a few video games with my nephew then be back on around 8pm or so until I leave at 10:30 to get Naz.

*Loves on*
