Sage smirked, " just give me something to work on, and you can have the pancakes...you know, a simple drill for chakra control, or something that will assisst me in maintaining chakra output."

Okay... 'eres what you gotta do...
Take deeeeeeep breaths... just feel for the natural flow of the chakra through your body... okay? Close your eyes if it helps you to visualize the flow...
*Drake closed his eyes as if following his own instructions, but then opened them suddenly*
Know your flow, backwards and frontwards... you've gotta know the way you work, be in tune with it... you got that?
I know it sounds elementry, but it is essential!

Sage smirks, " your trying to get me to close my eyes so you can swipe the pancakes, aren't you? in any case...I'll be more specific. I need a training techinique that I can practice...like climbing a tree without using your hands. that kind of thing...I already have meditation down."

I told you I'd give you trainin'... I wouldn't cheat you outta it. I don't know what you already know so... but now that helps a little...
Tree climblin'? Rubbish! Eheheheh. S'pose next your gonna be askin' if you should be tryin' to walk on water? HA! Nonesense. Trees and water. Huge mass. Easy practice. Beginners stuff.
*At blinding speed Drake grabbed one of the pancakes and held it on his fingertips*
Lets try this...
*Drake tilted his finger tips as if to let the pancake slide off, holding his hand outwards towards Sagetim. But the pancake stuck.*
Pancakes are thin. If you apply just a smidgen' to much o' chakra...
*The pancake mushed up instantaneously at Drake's fingertips and fell to the ground in a disgusting heap*
... you lose a pancake... and you get a mess at your feet. Sure, climbing a tree your fall or put a little mark in the tree. But a pancake... you need perfect control!
*Drake made a quick wave with his hand and a burst of wind sent the mushed up pancake at his feet flying away and out the dojo door*

She wandered from her room to the kitchen, headphones on and katana strapped to her back. She made a sandwich and headed to the main room to eat. Seemed like this was getting to be her routine: eat, meditate while the food settled, then practice kenjutsu for awhile.

Takuan awoke quite suddenly his eyes hungry, for that simple thing. Food. It had been a while since he left home. Silently he got up, placing his gear on the couch. He hadn't been able to find his fathers room, and so he had slept on the couch.

She looked up in the direction the voice came from, and saw Seph hanging upside down at the kitchen doorway.
She giggled a bit and said, "Hello to you too," before taking another bite of her sandwich.

He smiled and winked at Damaris before lifting himself back up into the shadows of the rafters and hoping down to the lynolium kitchen floor.

He smiled again at Damaris and nodded. "Good, good!" He stretched some, as if having just woken up from a nap. "I'm not really a cat person, myself. I'm more into foxes. Foxes or birds. Matter of fact, forget foxes. I've had enough of them, I don't care how many tails they have. Except one. There is a white fox I'm okay with." He grinned and nodded for his own benefit. "What about you?"

"I actually prefer cats. Just... not ones that talk. And turn into naked chicks. That was just... odd. To be honest, that cat is probably the only animal I've ever run into that I don't care for," she said smiling, before finishing up the last of her sandwich.
