scurr Sgt_OBrien scurr my Devi's are made with all the heavy weapons i could lay my hands on, which is: 2 multi-meltas 2 plasma cannons 3 heavy bolters 1 rocket launcher and two sarges. i scrounged all of these off friends who only needed the lascannons. i lagged out and posted this kinda late. sorry. That's kinda how I got the ones I have now. I have 2 heavy bolters and a plasma cannon to play with. I was going to make two devestator squads, one with 2 rockets and a plasma, one with two heavy bolters. i put mine into an anti infantry squad(H bolters,plasma cannon,etc.) and an Anti-tank squad (rockets and multi meltas) I haven't played with multimeltas much yet in devastator squads, I was worried about having to get them into position.

Why not just take the Vindicator chassis and replace the Demolisher cannon with a big plasma blaster?

It might be fun to drop pod 4 meltas into the middle of the field. = o it would be fun,incredibly fun however i prefer suicide bike squads armed with melta bombs and a power fist. it works i almost took out a land raider before i was shot to crap by a squad of marines.

Lt. Brookman Why not just take the Vindicator chassis and replace the Demolisher cannon with a big plasma blaster? Well, you could. But I'm not really wanting it for a siege tank. Though that would be neat looking. Kind of like those covenant tanks in Halo.

Bikers don't seem to be as useful as they used to be, now that they're not scoring units. They're pretty much just an interesting support choice. Mine at the moment have a power weapon and a plasma gun.
