*Luke looks at her, only now realizing how much it took out of her.*
You okay?

:::Cora continues to lend her support:::
To control and manifest the power, apparently takes a lot of energy. :: biggrin own to Maggie::: That is much bigger than an apple. You've imporved, I'm very proud of you. :::For a second she sounded like her trainer, she smirked and came back::: I look forward to being able to do something similar.

*Maggie nods to look, breathing in and out slowly, her color starting to return a little*
*She tilts her head to look up at Cora, a funny sort of smile settling on her lips for a moment* Thank ye . . . I'm certain Tavin will teach ye as soon as he's able.

*Luke, being himself, starts to play with the basketball.... A show-off by nature, Luke bounces the basketball in and out between his legs... He kicks it up... lets it ride on his shoulder, and then catches it in his palm.*
*He does all this without lifting his eyes for praise, but that doesn't mean he's not looking for it.*

:::Cora hears the ping ping ping of the basketball as Luke plays with it. Her attention is naturally drawn. But she can't for the life of her figure it out:::
What a strange object... what purpose does it serve, Luke?

Recreation mostly. It's fun. You play a game with it.
*He describes the game of basketball, it's purpose, points system, the way the game is played.*
I've been playing it since I was....Christ, 5?

:::Cora looks up as though recalling something:::
Ah yes, Malazar once introduced the concept of sport to me. Interseting... :::She didn't have much to say for Luke's skillz though, she was more concerned with Maggie:::
Maggie, are you able to stand on your own, comfortable, or shall we sit down?

*Maggie listens attentively to Luke's explanation, although some of it is lost on her*
*She looks to Cora at her question, straightening herself into a standing position* I'm alright, truly. A bit weak yet, but 'twill pass soon enough.

Mmm...:::Cora nods, but she stays close in case Maggie feels faint again:::
:::She takes a bite of the fruit, she was getting better at it::: Maggie, what is the biggest thing you have imported to the Brink thus far?

*Maggie motions to the basketball as Luke twirls it* Actually . . . that is. *the ball falls to the floor as Luke vanishes, bouncing a few times until Maggie bends to scoop it up* Farewell, Luke . . .
*she examines the ball for a moment, then passes it to Cora for her to inspect, and lowers herself into a chair, deciding to sit after all*

:::She's...not quite sure how to feel about Luke leaving. Sad that he's gone, but glad that she doesn't have to keep hiding the embarassment for now:::
:::She focuses on the ball...:::
Hmm... synthetic fibers, fibruous and maliable. :::She squeezes it::: As I predicted, it is hollow. The elasticity allows it to bounce.
:::She throws it to the floor, only for it to beem in a complerely random direction at the force she threw it:::
Oh goodness! :::She first looks to Maggie, and make sure it's not headed her way. When she sees that it's safe, she follows the ball:::
I forget my own strength sometimes.

...nn...
No. :::She picks up the ball::: I am chemically enhanced so that I can perform my duty more proficiently. I am 7.563 times stronger than the average human of my age. Many of my perceptive functions are advanced as well, such as vision and hearing. If I focus, I can hear your heart beating.
