[ Songkit took a deep breath. Foxfur was pretty nice. She bet he was tough, and was nice in the inside. She padded out to Willowheart.]

[Pelt? Somehow, that insult sounded strangely familiar to him, but he couldn't point his paw to it. He opened his mouth to throw back some insults, but as suddenly as the weight had been thrown on him, it had gone. Through the chaos Eaglesoar managed to make out the words "Bramblefire" and "Eaglesoar". At least someone here recognised him. Hang on...Bramblefire? His stupid good for nothing fur ball of a brother? He hardly recognised his brother now, he had grown much more muscular and stronger during his absence. It was as though their roles were switched now, with him being the weaker one and his brother being the stronger fighter.]
"Yeah, thanks for the homecoming, furball. At least someone here had more than just their precious pelts in their heads."
[He shot a glare at Bramblefire before getting to his feet, shaking the dirt off his muzzle.]
"Thanks Foxfur. Uh...yeah. I'm back."
[A very anticlimatic homecoming, he had to say. A shameful one indeed, he couldn't even throw off an intruder on his back, how would he defend Nightclan now?]

[Avaricekit felt a vibration pass through the air, making his ears perk slightly. What had that been? He slowly shrugged as another scent caught his attention. Glee flilled the kit, and he squeaked slightly, bouncing clumsily toward the scent. His father was back!
A sudden drip on the ground ahead made Avaricekit halt in his tracks. A scent wafted from a small distance away. A scent that awakened something inside him. The curiosity of his young mind asked one thing: What was that delightful scent?
With a malicious grin, the tom stalked foward, his worries of his father washed away. He was keenly focused on the thing that Forsaken had dropped on the ground in front mother, with the delightful, metallic scent. A small growl came from the white kit, a hunger growing in his belly. He clumsily plopped down on top of the piece of prey, burying his muzzle in the wet, viscous liquid oozing from somewhere on the prey. He growled slightly in delight, his claws sinking deeper and deeper into the prey item.]

[ooc:] xD Yeah, you can thank Timber for the name. I absolutely love the nae though. He's Puresun's kit, camping out in the territory. I got to have him for special purposes. Pudgy little thing though. He gets to take a trip. (See the Order of Destinies forum for the details. ^w^)

(( @ iZann: LOL one of the kittens IS named "Irekit" xDDD For the same reason too. >;3 There's a secret "easter egg", if you will, about the kittens that should become apparent right about now...
oh right, you've been gone. Well. let's just say Purekit=Purepaw=Puresun, and she's kinda a mother now. And not with Forsaken.

[I jumped as Forsaken reappeared, twitching my ears a bit self-conciously. He had startled me. I had sensed something near, a dark presence such as a predator. I knew it wasn't Forsaken because I could recognize the sensation I recieved when he was near. This sensation was similar, yet different. There was definitely something watching us.
Trying to shake the feeling, I smiled at Forsaken with relief.]
"That's okay," I said briskly. "I'm sure you needed to train your apprentice something important."
[My hazel eyes glinted coldly at him. I didn't like the concept of a demon teaching a living cat how to be demon-like. I knew I couldn't control him, but I greatly disliked Slasher and I was very keen to show my disapproval of Forsaken's teaching him.
Glancing down at the twisted piece of prey, I had to chuckle.]
"Do you always have to mangle the poor things?" I taunted with a purr.
[Before I could begin eating, Avaricekit jumped on the prey and started digging in. Shocked, my fur bristled at the sight of my little kitten ripping into the flesh of an animal. Kittens were supposed to drink milk for at least their first half-moon. Why was he hungering for flesh only a day after birth?? (( I figure it's been a day or so. D: ))
Twitching my nose, I pulled Avaricekit off the prey, placing him by my belly gently.]
"Avaricekit, dear, don't eat that, you'll get sick," I cooed.
[Meat aren't healthy for kittens, right? I thought to myself worriedly as I ate, glancing back at my kitten.] ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire
because some liar
told me he loved me
and I thought he was you.
Let me keep one thing near;

[A force pushed Avaricekit away from the somewhat delicious tasting liquid. Confusion ruffled his fur (figuratively, of course), and he sat down for a moment, dazed. Why is she keeping me from having that stuff? he thought sadly. He was hungry! The young kit mewled in protest, trying to fight against her grip, but it didn't seem to falter. He squealed pleadingly. Why couldn't he have a drink of it?
Suddenly, Avaricekit felt anger stab through him, and he growled slightly, his nose scrunched up accusingly. She was being simply mean! A small growl rumbled from the kit's throat for a moment, but it went away as soon as it had come. A new scent distracted him. There was still that pleasingly scented stuff on his muzzle. He squeaked happily, rasping his tongue across his muzzle, eager to have more.]

[The demon smiled at Puresun's sharp sense, seeing through it's clever lie of a hunting trip.] "I am afraid you may know me too well. As for the pray you know i cannot harm anything that isnt bleeding to begin with. Of course rabbit's are easily startled. kekekekek" [Forsaken's dark grin faded though into a scowl at the sight of Avericekit's ferocity that arose form the aroma of blood. The insanity and glee reminded the demon very much of Blood himself, it disgusted it. Forsaken tried to reason in it's head that it itself was not amune to the delightful smell.] They wont grow up to relive his legacy. I will teach them better... [As the demon pondered to itself it noticed Puresun's uneasiness. Forsaken's devil red eyes glared around the swamp, looking for the unknown presence as a dark and ominous growling sound gurgled deep down within the demon.] "Is there something out there?" [Forsaken snarled under it's breath, it's blood lust rising. Ever since the insedent with Blood, Forsaken had acquired a protectiveness over Puresun.

[The lone warrior looked up from his shadow to see Bamblefire tackle Eaglesoar. He grinned at the sight of his old clan mates, remembering each and every one of their unique qualities. He, however felt so far separated from them watching from the darkness, just like he would before he had become dead to them, had fallen and washed away in the river that one fateful mission. He looked around form his solitude, Fathom was no where to be found.] I guess what Cinderwinfg said was correct. Fathom is no longer the leader of Nightclan. Dose that now make my services no longer needed? Where will i go now? [With remaining hope he looked around for Thunderclaw, he beautiful mate. His heart sunk like a rock though when she was no where to be found.] "....Did, did i fail to save her after all?" [The dark tom looked down with sorrow, terrified of the worst. He quickly put on a mask for Shimmer, the golden kitten who had accompanied him here.] "I wish you luck here in your new home. I have to leave now, my loved one is not here and i must find her." [With that he nodded in respect to the kit and vanished into the darkness, no longer to be seen.]

[I rolled my eyes and snorted at Bramblefire's words. I sat down, curling my tail around my paws as I peered intently at Eaglesoar]
"He is your brother, Bramblefire. You should always be able to tell who your kin are.."
[I trailed off, lost in my own memories, but quickly snapped back and got to my paws once more. Geez, I was always on my paws these days]
"Eaglesoar, what happened to you?"

"Long story short, a monster ran over me, and some Twolegs took me to their medicine den to heal me. I broke my left foreleg and some ribs, so they shut me in their den for a good three moons. [I flicked my ears nervously, not noticing Avaricekit's sudden malice. I had a very ominous feeling that I couldn't shake. I glanced around, growing more skittish as the feeling grew stronger. I looked down at my kittens to see Irekit staring at me with shut eyes. I froze as his gaze locked with mine, and I felt my fur rise. What-? He was staring pointedly at me despite the fact that he couldn't see. I slowly moved my head left, and his face turned and followed me. I slowly moved my head right, and his head moved in my direction. How can he-?!
Irekit was staring at me with such a strange look. It sent shivers down my spine. I tried to shake the feeling. Leaning forward, I began grooming him quickly, trying to calm down.
Then he leaned up to my ear.]
"There is nothing to fear but fear itself, Puresun," a voice whispered in only my ears ((Forsaken didn't hear it)).
[I jerked my head back, my eyes wide. Who said that? It couldn't have been Irekit-he was a newborn kitten! I stared down at Irekit, who had turned away from me and snuggled into my belly. I stared at my paws, slowly contemplating what I had just heard.
It had sounded like Blood's voice.
I pressed agianst Forsaken, worry clouding my face. My eyes trailed over to Irekit, who was fast asleep. That's when I realized it.
The ominous feeling I was getting was from Irekit.
I rested my head on my paws, slowly closing my eyes. What could this mean...? I didn't want to think about it. At all. Instead, I closed my eyes and tried to force sleep to come, trying to ignore the little kitten who had terrified me so. He was my son! I would never forsake him...]

Brokensoul [Brokensoul let out a pure of amusement for his apprentice's clumsiness. He got to his paws and said over his shoulder.] "Then let's go!" [Brokensoul led Pinepaw out of camp, being careful of Willowheart's scent close by. Along with Songkit's. His senses grew alert and tense. One screw up and he would be in trouble and his apprentice sad. Once they got to a spot Willowheart couldn't see them in and camp was close he meowed quietly to Pinepaw.]I can't fail... "Okay, what do you smell...and where is it coming from. The first thing a warrior must know is how to track a scent, and since we're out here this is a good time for that. Tell me if you can smell a mouse."

[The demon burned with the lust for blood of the strange presence that seemed to linger. It faded temporarily though at the feel of Puresun snuggling up against it trying to sleep. Forsaken narrowed it's eyes, tasting her fear in the atmosphere. It's glowing red eyes scanned the area suspiciously as it coiled it's shadowy figure around her like a protective wall. Nothing would get past the spirit's murderous gaze. Forsaken eventually rested it's gaze upon the kittens snuggled up against Puresun resting in it's shadow. The dim glow from the hell fire eyes of Forsaken illuminated Irekit as it looked upon him.] How come Puresun seems so unsettled yet the kittens seem perfectly fine? Can they nit sense it?
