Hunting? BUTCHER?!? *gulp*
I love to go up in the mountains, but I usually avoid it during hunting season, thank you for asking. Seems everything looks like a deer to a hunter and people get shot accidentally. I just hate taking care of them in the emergency room. People can be so stupid! Or drunk. Or whatever.
Besides, I feel all sad even thinking about fishing and some poor little hungry fish ends up with a hook in its mouth. Can you imagine how that would feel?

There is no doubt you have to be careful when you are out hunting Bandaidd and some people do some really stupid things. I would agree with that. I have a small cabin up North and you'd be quite comfortable. The area is quite beautiful and private.
I don't know if fish have feelings in their mouths, Bandaidd? confused I never really thought about it I guess.

Well, it's not really against my religion or anything, but my grandfather taught me a respect for all living things and so I practice a kind of native american version of ahimsa. I eat meat rarely, as a rule and always with apologies and gratitude for the animal that gave its life. Recently, I gave up eating meat altogether. It wasn't a huge step for me and I get the nutrition I need with very little personal sacrifice.
I just had an idea! I won a contest for Halloween and have flight and a couple of nights hotel stay anywhere in the US for 2. Either of you want to come with me? Or we could easily get another ticket and all three go if you can get the weekend off.

*smiles at Justin* Really? Honestly, a cabin in the mountains sounds wonderful, too. Dougherty, you probably need a break more than either of us. You look so tired and worn out. I'm a little worried about you.

No fever. Still. I have never seen you looking so worn out, if you'll forgive me for saying so.
Oh! And ahimsa is a religious practice of not harming any living thing, practiced as far as I know in Hindu and Jain religions. It just seems so right to me when I think about it.
