Con watched from a distance as the others tried to get the entrance uncovered. In all honesty, he wasn’t sure if he wanted it to be uncovered or not. On one hand, he really wanted to bite those Rockets, but… it meant going underground again. And he didn’t want to go back down there. But maybe it would be worth it, to get rid of this threat? Something bad was going to happen, he knew it.

Seeing Ryou made Con’s decision for him. Getting up, the houndoom went over to his old friend and used Faint Attack on the rocks, fading in and out to break the rocks up a bit. He wasn’t as good with this sort of attack as Ryou was, but he could certainly help out.

Alastair wiped some of the sweat off of his forehead and glanced up at the cloud that had suddenly formed. Well, that was convenient! It would help everyone cool off a bit. No, he was NOT thinking about women wearing white shirts getting wet. Perverts.

The extra rain even made the ground muddy, which gave Alastair an idea. “Hey, Piney! Can we have more Rain Days over here? If we get the ground muddy enough, we might be able to slide the rocks instead of picking them up and moving them.” It sounded far more efficient than all of this muscley work. Not that he denied showing off a bit. The ground would also be a bit more slippery, so everyone would be in more danger of tripping.

Arin streched when they finally arrived at the mines. Much to her and everyones dismay, the entrance was totally blocked, and there seemed to be no way past it except to dig through.

Arin smiled, though. For once, she could possibly be helpful. Picking up Hush, she walked towards the entrance and put her back down, eyeing the large rocks that were lodged in the mud.

"Hush, use Rock Smash!" Arin said, pointing to one of the larger rocks.

Nodding, Hush ran up and used the attack to strike the rock dead center, causing cracks to run through it until it fell apart.

Now the problem was moving the smaller bits of rock out of the way. Once the stones were moved, it would be easier to dig through the thick mud and dirt. Not being able to think of a move that would be helpful in this situation, Arin directed Hush to the next larger boulder. They would be able to move the stones later.

Zen smiled at Jen, who he saw working not too far from him. He waved at her when he thought he saw her look over at him, and went back to work. Eventually, he got to a larger rock, and began struggling. His arms were screaming at him, muscles threatening to tear.
"Could I get some help over here?" He called with a grunt, stone still not budging a bit.

Meanwhile Armageddon was beginning to lose energy. Hyper Beam wasn't a move meant to be used continually. Panting, he loosed another large yellow beam, chest heaving.

The damage done was tremendous--it's would take all night to get through those rocks! She looked around at the other trainers, and saw some where using their pokemon to help out as well.

"Better get started..." Riza mumbled to herself, when she caught someone struggling in the corner of her eye. She ran over and grabbed the rock without asking, trying to help him move it.

"Ooof!! This--is--heavy---" she said through gritted teeth.

Ridley started to help slowly, Soulcrusher doing a few tackle attacks and horn attacks to break rocks as the Rocket grunt started to pick up smaller pieces of rubble. Good thing this wasn't easy work. Maybe the trainers would give up. He knew the Rockets would have some plan of getting out, and didn't need to worry about freeing his comrades. Ridley knew that now wasn't the moment for him to blow his cover, so for now he continued to play it safe. His nerves were mostly worn down now, however, and he was terrified he'd slip up somehow.

Angel glanced at her hands, which were covered with smeared dirt from picking at the wall with Aero. This was going to take awhile. Angel rubbed her forehead with a sigh, then grimaced when she realized she got mud on her forehead. Ont top of that, she had a headache from all the Rocket explosions. Could it get any worse? Suddenly, there was rain. Yup.

Kicking at the wall in frusturation, Angel had an epiphany. What about the Tauros? The could pull wagons. What about rocks? Hurrying over to the wagons, she chose an alert Tauros. "Hello!" She greeted the Pokemon. Angel unhitched the Tauros, grabbed some rope from a wagon, and went back to the wall.

After akwardly roping a rock jutting out of the wall, Angel secured the rope around the Tauros and gave it a pat. "You can go now!" The Tauros gave her a blank stare and didn't budge. "...You know, forward? As in, moving in the direction you're looking in, step by step?" Nothing. Angel growled and stomped over to Aero, who was dutifully pecking and scraping at the wall. "Aero? Can you encorage the Tauros to move?" Aero glanced at the Tauros, hopped over, and gave the Pokemon a nasty peck. The Tauros moaned and lurched forward. The rock moaned as well and edged outward a little. A long time past before the rock popped out of the wall, leaving a dent in the wall and the Tauros stumbled forward. "Yay!" Angel cheered. Now to repeat this paragraph a few more times... Angel sighed again.

Faraon tilted his head and pawed at Lock lightly. "Perrr...."

The man didn't payed him any attention as he tried to meditate. The feline sighed and suddenly grabbed him by the arm and started to pull him towards the blocked entrace.
"I need to pull my heart out and tie you to a tree when i meditate, I swear..." He sighed as he was dragged.
The persian just groaned and let him go once they were close enough.

"Alright, alright...We'll help now..." He looked around. Hearing Zen, he walked over. "Faraon, help over there with your own hyper beam" He meant Armageddon, but Faraon just sat there with an annoyed look. "Oops..sorry.." The healer walked over to Armageddon and Faraon follow. "Sometimes I forget you are blind...." He walked back to Zen. "What are we doing?"

Faraon's ears twitched and he charge his attack, easily telling where armageddon was hitting. He suddenly let out the attack losoe.

Zen gave an appreciative smile to the girl who just came to help him, and nodded to her. "My name's Zen, nice to meet you." He grinned, tugging at the rock.

Turning to see Lock, Zen gave the healer a smile. :Fancy seeing you out of the coliseum Lock. Care to join?" He nodded to the rock he was tugging at.

"We pull on three, okay?" He grunted, digging his feet into the ground.

"One...two...three!" He pulled with all his might, digging his feet deeper into the dirt.

Seeing that his work was being helped with, Armageddon whispered a thanks in pokemon speak, and switched to a less energy consuming attack; Shadow Ball. Now with the combination of attacks on a single spot, this would hopefully go a bit faster.

"Nice to meet you too Zen, I'm Riza," she said fairly quickly.

"On three? Alright," she nodded in acknowledgment. She braced herself for his count and....three!

She pulled as hard as she could, straining a bit but...the rock started to move!
She bit down and shifted her weight back, trying to pull the rock out with her weight.

"All--most--got--it--!"

After about an hours worth of work Liam straightened up, brushing the sweat off his brow with the back of his hand. This was why he had become a healer and not a construction worker. There didn't seem to be much progress either. Many of the pokemon were helping via attacks -- even Soulcrusher -- and yet still the entrance seemed just like when they had started. How were they ever going to get through?

Sighing heavily, Liam shook his head, retreating back a bit and collapsing next to his pack, getting some water. "Just a five minute break," he convinced himself, taking a swig, pondering over what was inside. He was not really looking forward to another butt kicking courtesy of team rocket. Truth be told he felt more like a hinderance than anything else. Without any pokemon, someone had to look out for him, right? Man, that was a blow to his pride.

The healer chuckled. "Hello zen." He looked at the rock and nodded. Digging his feet into the ground, he took a hold on the stone as well as he could and pulled as hard as he could.

Faraon continuo the attack, giving just a little sign that he heard the thanks.

After Hush had shattered a few of the larger rocks, Arin rolled up her sleeves and walked over to the smaller chunks, picking them up one by one and moving them out of the way, grunting every time she lifted one into the air.

It was hard lonely work. There were lots of trainers helping out, but most of them were keeping to themselves. Hush was there with Arin, though, so it wasn't too bad as her pokemon was cheerfully picking up the even smaller rocks and tossing them out of the way.

She stopped for a moment, using the back of her muddy hand to wipe the sweat from her forehead. She was already dirty, didn't matter if some mud got on her face after all. Sighing, she looked around to see Liam sitting down, taking a drink of water. Just then realizing how thirsty she was, she reached into her own bag and grabbed a bottle, taking a long drink before stumbling over to the healer.

"Hey, hows it goin?" She asked, though the answer was pretty obvious.

With the combined effort of the three, the large boulder finally came out with a 'pop!' Glad for it to have come out, Zen sat down briefly, rubbing his sore arms.

"Thanks guys, that was tough." he chuckled, before standing back up. "Now let's get back to work before Jen has our heads." He laughed, pulling a smal rock out of the way.

"So, you've battled my daughter, Koori?" Armageddon asked in between attacks, not wanting this to get too boring.

Lock sat down after they moved the rock. "This is going to kill us ..." He laughed before getting back up to his feet, pushing the rock further away to unblock anyone's path. It was earier to move now that dislodge.

Dusting himself off, he walked back and started to move smaller rocks.

Faraon nodded. "Indeed, like most of my opponents, she was a worthy opponent." He answer softly before performing at shadow ball attack. His eyes were close as he did this, it was easier to concentrate if his slight movement-detection didn't get on the way. His target wasn't going to move.

The boulder came free! Unfortunately, with the way Riza had been pulling she ended up falling when it popped out.

"Atch!" she said, standing up and rubbing her sore tail bone, "Well, that was fun!"
She nodded at the suggestion of getting back to work, and picked a spot about five feet over that looked like it needed work.

She gave a sideways glance at Lock as she pulled a few of the smaller rocks down and kicked them out of the way, making a nice pile. She had seen him in her wagon. She grinned at him, "Hi there! Another wagon mate! My name's Riza."
