Clow's smile faded and then he looked down across the table at her, and sighed, before raising an eyebrow and keeping quiet for a few moments.
"I...um..."
He thought of what to say and just decided to ask a question.
"What do you mean...?"

"Heh, you didn't hear why I left, just that I left then."
She paused for a moment, then did her best to explain.
"I'll just assume you know about the Kimura clan bloodline. I was training for the chuunin exam when my bloodline ability awakened, and I managed to outright kill my best friend with a ninjutsu technique that should have been harmless at the level I was trying to perform it at."

Clow sighed and then looked to her before looking down at the table.
"I heard something like that...but I didn't want to believe it until I heard it from the actual source. But..."
He tilted his head to the side, and then pulled on his collar a bit, revealing his Curse Seal.
"At least you don't have one of these..."

"True. Though sometimes it feels like I may as well be cursed. I'm terrified to do anything with chakra, since I know I don't know how to control when I use that extra bit that makes our clan unique."

Clow narrowed his eyes some, and then turned to look out the window. The sun was beginning to set, but it was enough time for what he wanted to be done.
"Well...why don't you show me a bit...of what you got?"

"All I've really 'got' is my kenjutsu. I haven't done anything with chakra since that incident."
She paused for a moment, then remembered what Sage had told her.
"But that reminds me. Sage told me I should look for Tutsumi or... Fenris? He said they might be able to teach me a thing or two about chakra control."

"Well I've got some good news...and bad news."
He then looked back up to her.
"Fenris passed away...and Tutsumi's left the GNA. But the good news is...I taught Fenris alot on chakra control...and I taught Nami some chakra control too."

Nami, having finished making yet another snack but conscientious enough to cook enough for three, sank back down into her chair and set the plate between them.
She hadn't been paying much attention to the conversation although she heard the last bit. "Excuse me, I'm the expert at chakra control between the two of us my dear and-" She broke off, the first part of what he'd said registering.
"Fen's dead?" She stared at him wide-eyed. "How...I mean...I never heard anything..."

"So long as there's someone who can help me, that's really all that matters to me. I obviously didn't know who either of them were, just was going off the suggestion of a boy who didn't seem to understand things all that well. I had to explain to him like 10 times about how in my clan they didn't work too much with chakra control til after chuunin."

Clow sighed, and then nodded to Nami slowly.
"Yeah...I haven't heard any details. I just heard she was dead...She has been for a few weeks."
Clow then looked back to Damaris with a small smile, trying to widen it, but it was hard.
"Alright, so Nami's right. She is the better one of us at Chakra control. I make it by though, and I've been a big help to others. But...since Seph would be your sensei...he'd teach you. I mean I could...but...I'm not really supposed to without the other Sensei's permission."

"Yeah I keep hearing that, but I haven't seen the guy since I first got here a few days ago. But I'm hoping all goes well. I would like to be able to master some techniques and gain some control over my bloodline. It'd be a big help to the village where I live now, or so I've been told."

"But I'm a student...I don't apply to those restrictions...but my chakra is being a bit tempermental right now." She nibbled at something from the place absently before washing it down with her beloved chocolate milk. She was fairly sure that the morning sickness had passed for the day and was reveling in the ability to eat.

Clow took Nami's hand softly and smiled to her, and nodded to her before he took a bite of the food Nami had made, and then he looked back to Damaris.

"Maybe in exchange then, I can help you get back into the swing of things with your kenjutsu?", she said with a smile to Nami, before turning to Clow.
"I'm hoping at least. I just hope I don't hurt anyone else in the meantime. I'm working with a pretty big disadvantage here."
