With no one around to disturb her, and no clock to keep track of time, she spent a good few hours working on her training. She'd through to bring a large glass of water in with her, but now it was nearly empty and she knew that keeping hydrated was just as important as the actual training itself. So she knew it was about time to at least take a break, if not stop training for the day.
She finished up the set she'd been working through, and then took a few minutes to do some meditation to get out of the training mindset. She then walked over to her bag, grabbed her katana's sheath, grabbed up the bag and her now empty glass, and headed for the kitchen.

Nami sipped happily at her chocolate milk. It had always been a treat she'd enjoyed but her stomach had recently forbidden much except tea. Now she was comfortably seated, one knee drawn up to her chest as she enjoyed her drink and a plate of peanut butter toast.
She could sense an unfamiliar energy field approaching and glanced up at the door to see who it was.

She noticed the young girl sitting at the table as she walked into the kitchen.
"Hello," she said with a smile as she walked over to fill up her glass.

"Hey." Nami greeted the woman with a smile. "Are you a new student?" She asked before taking another mouthful of toast. The light from the window caught her white eyes as she brushed a strand of dark hair behind her ear.

"Well, I'm new, but I'm not anyone's student as of yet." She sat down at the table with her glass, setting down her bag and katana on the ground next to her chair. She took a drink, and then began messing with her hair, headband, and headphones.

"Ho is my primary, never was able to find out if I had an affinity for any others though. Seph had said something about that making me his student, but I haven't actually seen him since I got here."
By now, she had her headband sitting on the table, her headphones around her neck, and was just getting around to pulling her hair down, the way she was most comfortable wearing it.

"He's great so you shouldn't have any problems studying under him..." Nami trailed off to take a drink. " And he's around most of the time so it shouldn't be hard to train."
She set her glass down. "Oh yeah, I'm Nami, Hyuuga Nami." She held out her hand across the tabletop.

"Kimura Damaris," she said, offerring, her hand as well, and taking note of Nami's last name.
"A Hyuuga eh? I'll assume you're from Konoha then. Main or branch house?"

"Main...although they seem to have a problem with it sometimes." Nami smiled. "I recognize your name, well you clan name. I trained with a Kimura in the academy. Powerful family." She smiled. "What brings you to the GNA?"

"Hoping to learn how to harness that 'power' since I kinda didn't get the chance to before," she said, hanging her head a bit, knowing there was a good chance this girl already knew her story, if she knew other Kimuras.

Nami nodded. She remembered hearing about a Kimura leaving the village when she was younger but she couldn't remember the circumstances. She'd probably remember it later. "You train with a katana?" She asked instead, pointing at the things laid out beside Damaris.

"Yeah, one of the only things I learned at the academy that didn't really require chakra techniques to be useful, so it's really the only thing I've kept up with."

Clow stretched, as he slowly entered the kitchen and gave out a large yawn. His crimson hair was really ruffled and spiky as it always was, and he gave a small smile, creeping behind Nami and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Afternoon..."
He then looked up, perking an eyebrow, looking at the girl he had no clue about. He blinked a few times, not sure how to ask who she was without sounding rude.

Nami smiled, tilting her head towards him. "Afternoon babe." She grinned before replying to Damaris. "Yeah...I kept up with it for a while but the past two years I guess I kind of neglected it in persuit of family techniques but I'm thinking about taking it up again...in a few months it'll probably be the only thing I'll be able to do without worrying about getting hurt."
She glanced over at Clow. "This is Damaris, she's a new student...she grew up in Konoha."
