The Haelstrom Fist
Dag nabbit, I thought you meant your screen AGHREHGGRH- but I see. I was thinking "Drej-ack." So noted. [Pose.]
And indeed, it's a weird story actually. Back when I was a kid, my first screen-name online was Omnislash K (K being my name.) Except, I misspelled it Omislash. So later, I went "well ******** it, people're calling me Omi, may as well make that into a name" and tried Typhoon Omi as a play on words from Tycoon, which I thought sounded badass at the time.
It is at this point I decided to adapt the name to a roleplay character. Drejak's origin is a rather funny one.
I play Xbox, and PC, so when I got my 360 and Oblivion I was in heaven.
I made a character, Flayer, on the game, and one of his custom-made weapons was named "Dejrak".
When I started play Worl of Warcraft, I needed a name for my character. I went Horde, started a troll shaman, and then looked around my other games for a name that people could shorten, but was still original.
I found the weapon, and thought of how I could rearrange the letters to make it a more user-friendly name, and one that could be shortened, and came out with "Drejak".
Then, I decided to carry the character from WoW into my roleplaying, but since Shamans in WoW can turn into a wolf form, and summon wolves if specced properly, I made him a wolf anthro instead of a troll, and instead of having him be able to use Fire, Earth, Water, and Air, (since WoW shamans can use all the elements, plus lightning) I made him only use Earth.
And now he has a mate, a backstory all his own, and is in his second-round match in his first-ever tournament appearance.
XD
Flayer on the other hand is a long-time-running screen name with me that started out as Shadow]Flayer back when I played SC: Broodwar.
Good times.
