Lord Yawgmoth

Shadowy Lunatic

PostPosted: Sat Apr 18, 2009 10:30 pm

Yawgmoth's crimson eyes followed Ali's every motion as best as they could follow, the darkness around them telling him what he couldn't visually keep track of. Smirking a little his forked tongue grazed across his lips. His darkness would not be countered so easily by any form of night, not after all that work. For now though, he decided to let Ali amuse himself and let the bright flaring aura peel away the shadows around his feet. Without having to maintain so much infused power across a spread area he was more able to concentrate on offense than just letting his natural defenses do all the work for him. This time in the form of something he'd been dying to use on a live victim. Due to the amount of shadows around them, even if Ali's light had dimmed some of them, gathering would be fast, extremely fast given his current power output.

Into his left hand the shadows around him went forming a crystalline missile looking structure. The moment Aliator vanished was the moment the titan thrust the crystalline darkness at his direction. This attack was the strongest form of focused and condensed darkness he'd managed to create. Weaving shadows into a solid form. Stronger than the orbs, stronger than any kind of beam energy. Shadow Crash was its name for a reason. On impact with either Ali running headlong into it at that speed or avoiding it, the explosion would be massive. A large corrosive cloud would begin to eat away at any form of life left inside its huge radius as well as chewing at the very dirt and earth itself. Yawgmoth of course, was immune to it having created it himself and it being of dark power. So he was freely able to stand in the resulting explosion, and the cloud it left behind as its second effect while his opponent was either obliterated by the explosion, eaten alive and devoured by the cloud or managed to escape.

* Since Ali was reacting on insticts and observation now, he knew better then to run straight on and since Yawg seemed to be charging up some attack, Ali did a quick sideways dash to get out of Yawgs line of attack. When landing on the ground however, Ali did the one trick he had learned from Ziven that she had learned from Yawg. His dash technique.
Combined by his already fast movements, this would now make him break the speed of sound and barrely light itself. Going straight towards Yawgs left saide and aiming to slam into him so hard he'd be knocked back and durring that punching him as many times as Ali possibly could before he landed. Each punch letting out a energy burst as well as Ali aura acting as a constant flow of outbursting energy.*

The Titan's pale white pupil-less eyes followed every motion and when his eyes failed the very missile he was shooting acted as his sight until it exploded. Ali was much faster than Yawgmoth, no one was going to dispute that. However, he wasn't as experienced in combat as the warlord was over the span of his near infinite life. The sidestep was the key, it meant there would be a fractional pause before Ali started charging straight at him again. His lips curled into a taunting grin when Ali disappeared from normal sight and began his charging ram. Yawgmoth knew his own technique when he saw it, he was no fool. For a split second a faint purple glow burned around his black obsidian skin. He thought about his next course of action, take the hit and see what Ali would do from there since the initial impact, even from Ali, would be mostly absorbed by his tank like skin or try to use the terrain to his advantage..yes he liked that idea.

His body dispersed into a cloud of dark matter, another new trick so named dark dispersion for a reason. He was unable to perform any offensive action in this state but since he was simply a cloud of darkness he would be immune to Ali's charge. Not just immune either, at that speed Ali would plow right through the cloud and hopefully it would obscure his vision long enough to send him flying off a cliff edge at that high speed. Even if he didn't fly off the cloud began to move towards the area where the shadow crash had exploded leaving behind a similar cloud and liquid muck on the ground that was eating away at the soil with each passing second.

* Ali let out a shriek of pain as he twisted himself around when he landed, the bones in his legs and arms still unbroken, barely.
Ali inhaled deeply afterwards, drawing to him all the oxygen around him into his lungs and around him. Making sure he didn't swallow Yawg's cloud. Exhaling afterwards and creating a gust of wind that folded up like an umbrella, manipulating the wind to split the clouds up and keep them seperated. If Yawg decided to turn solid from his cloud form he'd already be torn apart, if liquid then Ali would would just keep the liquids floating in mid-air. Turning to a cloud was one of the worst ideas anyone could get when it came to a fight with Ali, he'd send it divided up around the earth if desired.*

The gust of wind caught most of the mass as it was making contact with the shadows on the ground, probably 80 or 90% and scattered the dark particles across the forced darkened sky. Unfortunately for Ali enough had made contact with what darkness remained on land to matter. The oil like mass left by the crash began to quiver with ripples and bubble up the liquid silhouette of Yawgmoth who chuckled as he snapped back into a solid. All he needed was part of him, and enough darkness to reform the mass. The law of matter present of course. He couldn't reform from less darkness than he'd created by exploding into the cloud. That's where the matter on the ground came in, filling in for what Ali had scattered among the sky. Cracking his neck he grinned thrusting his arms down and yanking them upwards causing a least four times the amount of writhing tentacle masses to burst forth from the pool he stood on.

The defense flawless now. If Ali tried to get into melee range he'd have to step across the pool of liquid to reach Yawgmoth in the center and be devoured or impaled or otherwise killed by the mass of shadows. Any ranged attack could be thwarted by the tentacle masses slapping it away or taking the blow for the titan. All that was left, was offense. A gleam in his white pupil-less eyes shone and he looked above, pointed at the sky then threw his finger forward pointing to Aliator. The dark matter present among the clouds solidified into crystalline structures shaped like needles and pins. A few hundred of them about the size of a standard pen but all very deadly. The pins in the sky started to rain down towards Ali's general locale.

* Ali moved his head very slowly to look up, giving the impression that he was now moving at normal speed. Starring up at the crystalis matter falling down at him in a slow manner. Ali waited until he knew it would look unavoidable before he moved, using his air manipulation to glide inches above ground in a arch manner and away from the crystalis pins and needles. In the progress also whirling up a cloud of dust where he stood at first as a manner to decieve Yawg. Once he reached Yawgs blindside Ali attacked, Deciding that if he couldn't take Yawg anywhere around him then he'd come down at him from the top.*

Ziven appeared not too far away from where the fight began after they had exchanged several blows from one to the other. Her presence was completely silent, for all intents and purposes. It would be a challenge for they to know she was there, observing them fight. As she promised them both, she would not allow either to go too far. She would step in if she deemed it necessary. To hell with their pride.

Arching his eyebrow the titan scoffed to himself, no no it wouldn't be that easy now would it. Besides, Ali seemed to forget he could see through the shadows of all types. He knew the pins and needles struck only soil. The shadows hissed just as he looked up. A little too late to do anything himself, but that didn't mean he was defenseless. From above it must've looked like a massive jaw as the tentacles formed to each side and curved waiting for Ali's descent. The tentacles acting as some sort of teeth. Coming anywhere near him was foolish indeed. What did he hope to accomplish Yawgmoth wondered briefly, if he did land a hit it would have to kill the Titan dead to stop the darkness from swallowing him whole in the very next instant. Laughing aloud as Ali descended the maw of shadowy tentacled teeth started to slam shut attempting to either impale and devour Ali by themselves or swallow the two combatants leaving only the one who was immune to them alive.

* Ali let out a gasp as he felt himself get impaled by the tendrils, feeling how the blood crawled up his troath and out his mouth as he gasped for air. His power and aura withdrawing back, restricting itself inside him as when he walked around normally. Ali simply staring into Yawgs eyes, painfully flicking his right wrist and drawing one of his pistols to his hand. Then aiming it at Yawgs head. "Now he's getting desperate" would most likely go through Yawgs mind at this point. A small move of his wrist and a pull of the trigger and Ali had the gun aiming at Yawgs left eye, the ammo was a armor piercing high explosive round. Custom made to do damage if an armor was too thick. Going through the eye would be easy as it was soft matter, behind Ali assume there was a small obsidian black skin that would make the bullet crush, the explosion caused by that would do massive injury to Yawgs brain as the brain is exposed behind the eye.*

Seeing what was happening, anticipating what would happen next, Ziven reacted. Moving her hand in a casual yet swift manner, her fingers clasped in to a fist before making jerking motion. If one had not known better, it would look as if she had plucked something from the air and dropped it beside her. This was not too far from the truth.

Just after the shot was fired by Ali, he would feel himself being jerked backward, away from Yawgmoth, away from the attack. In no more than two seconds, he would now be on the ground beside Ziven. Anticipating anger from both, as well as confusion from Ali in this moment, she spoke but one word aloud for they both to hear, simple and clear;
"Peace."

Yawgmoth watched intently and thought something like that when Ali drew the pistol. He almost laughed, did he really think that was going to work after all this time? He must be delirious from blood loss. As the shot fired the titan did what one was...supposed to do instead of resorting to violence. Turn the other cheek per say, simply turning his head to the side and upward so that the bullet would smash into his cheek where the skin was thicker. He was not, however, anticipating the explosion resulting after the impact as the bullet crushed itself against his skin. The resulting explosion flared and caused him to recoil holding his hand over his eye. The close point bright flash causing temporary blindness in that eye. Growling in anger he looked around for his prey knowing it was injured and the killing blow was soon to come only to note that he was not there before he heard the word 'Peace' spoken by an all too familiar voice. No...no she didn't. She wouldn't dare...would she?

* Ali coughed and twitched a little before he painfully rolled over on all four and started to slowly and very painfully stand up, throwing a glance at Ziven and then at Yawg. Holstering his firearm after two failed attempts, things was starting to get blurry and moving around a little. He'd live to fight another day.*

Turning to look at Ali, she showed him a small smirk. Speaking softly, she replied to his comment with a bit of humor. "You may only dream of such." Stepping away from him the moment after, her focus fixed on her Husband. Slow and steady, she began walking toward him, waiting for him to speak, wanting them to be done fighting. Ali was clearly ready to stop, willing or not. As for her Love .. she knew this was not the case. One way or another, she was going to ease him from this blood lust.

Watching the scene unfold his white pupil-less eyes glared in their direction. Closing his eye that was blinded by the flash of the explosion he took a breath the shadows seeming to take a breath with him. The mass of dark tendrils around him banded together and formed a face behind his. He let loose a terrifying roar that the shadowy face behind him echoed twice as loud and with a sickening undertone of dread as if the darkness itself was roaring in frustration with him at not getting its meal. The shadowy muck on the ground parted the closer Ziven came to avoid harm to her. Just because he was mad didn't mean he wanted her dead..yet. The tentacles returned to writhing in the oil whispering nonsense that only the titan could understand. As Ziven passed by them they would begin to point at her and jeer hissing and whispering louder in the area she was closest to. In the center of all the commotion he waited for her to get close enough to explain herself. His expression still emotionless for the time, at least, since his skin was so dark and black it was hard to tell just what form of snarl or frown his lips were curled into and those blank eyes just starred a hole through her waiting..blank eye rather thanks to Ali.

* Ali watched as Ziven moved closer to Yawg, he still had some juice left in him. Hell you could tear off Ali his arms and legs and he'd still try to headbutt you to death, Ali was a struggler. Never give up until you let out your last breath, now it was more like a tacticall withdrawl. He had now seen just what Yawg could do and this would be useful information for next time. Besides in worst case Ali had a back-up plan.*
