I don't know how they got blown out in the first place. They weren't that loud to begin with, at full volume I could go upstairs and not hear them at all.

But if I was off doing something in another room I would put them up.
Then one day I noticed they were all static-y.
And like a bad liver they gradually got worse, now they barely work at all.
