Sage Chuckles for a few moments, and leans back. He nods and replies, " alright then, but if this ends the world, I'm blaming you."

After getting up, Sage stands still for a few moments, gathering his mental energies and focusing his mind once more. He slaps his hands together, then draws them apart slowly. As he does so, a blob of ectoplasm emerges in the air. it trickles down the air, and forms into a shaft. At the top, Sage uses his hands to shape the head of a spear, then he goes further, and puts foot holds on sides of the shaft. With a moments concentration, he sends a jolt of mental energy through the spear, and solidifies it into a crystalline mass.

Sage then backs up a bit, and hefts the spear around, pointing it at the case. He then charges towards the case, spear pointed at it's center. He lets out a Kiai as he nears the crystal. when he gets to 2 feet from it, he charges his legs with chakra, and makes a flying leap towards the crystal. In the brief moment between hitting the crystal and his leap, Sage moves around so that his feet slide into the footholds of the spear. As the tip of the spear meets the crystal case, Sage bends his knees and throws a bit of extra force into the impact as he springs off of the spear and away from the impact site.

Weather or not the crystal breaks, Sage winds up landing a few feet away, rolling to a stop and taking a few deep breaths.

Sage chuckled heartily as he was hugged, " your welcome....but...I really doubt this is the end of it. If someone is determined to mess with your memories, they're going to try again. and next time I doubt it will be as easy as shattering a glass case."

After taking a look over Zephyr for a bit, Sage shrugged and got up. " I suppose it was the doing of so much arcane energy focused in one point without direction. or...it was focused with the direction of making this place a death trap. in any case, we shouldn't leave that glass contraption around, it's probably ripe with Eldritch energies. if nothing else, we can probably break it up and sell some of the parts to a mage."

As he spoke, Sage meandered over to the remains of the cage, and picked up his spear. After a few moments of concentration, he reformed the ectoplasm of the spear into a crystalline shovel, and began digging the glass structure out of the ground.

Sage shakes his head, " that won't help if the source is still here...lets get this thing out of here, and any pieces we can find. then try that policy hmm? if we leave it here, it may well cause anything to grow here to pop up just as mutated. it would be like killing undead but not bothering to capture the one who raised them in the first place."

With a frown, Sage stops digging at the glass container's remains, " so...your positive the glass prison has nothing to do with the area around here? because if your wrong, we're just going to have to dig it up later...AND burn down this area again...and then we're going to have to wait even longer to get a normal area once more...so. Are you sure this was done by a single caster? if so, then we can tail it and burn...and..you know, keep from burning the rest down.."

Sage nodded, and dug up what he could of the glass case. He then used the largest piece to house any smaller pieces he could find. Next, he reformed the ectoplasm of the spear into a net, which he affixed around the glass structure, then around his torso. He then sent a jolt of mental energy through the ectoplasm, solidifying it's position around him.

Sage then made his way through the twisted landscape, and back to the forest with zephier.

Sage shrugs as they walk, " dunno, good I suppose. he looked fine when I saw him earlier...but I suppose it could have been a ploy. I'm going to go with 'he's okay'. "
