*A second pulse hits, if Sage remembers Zyphier he would feel this chakra begging as it were for freedom terrified and scared of becoming the first pulse. The energy is greater than Zyphiers chakra has ever been before and it is building trembling and fluctuating. This pulse fades quickly though followed by a second pulse hungering, trying to devour the first pulse.

(( Maybe... but... the names are different!! ToT Oh well... Quit assumin'! It'll kill you one day. <.< )) Yuki looked to the milk the Sage poured, then waited patiently for Sage to place it down before the cat would go at the bowl of milk hungrilly. the cat felt the next pulse though as it looked up and straight out the door, laying down and squinting. It was making the area heavy and hard to concentrate on what was important. Milk... of course.

Blinking a bit, Sage moved over to the bowl of paste. " feels like we're needed there more than they're coming here cat called yuki. "
As he spoke, Sage closed his eyes, and tapped the spoon and bowl. He quickly reshaped both of them into a single object...a small bomb without a fuse. He then sent a jolt of mental energies through the casing of the bomb, solidifying it into a strange blue crystal ball with a gooey center.
Sage then picked this up, and began walking towards the forest, " come when your ready Yuki-Cat...I'm sure this will take more than I have to finish. So be ready to bring some cavalry eh?"
((as for the kind of bomb, think: ball with a fuse coming out of it...like a large old fashioned grenade. but...without the fuse.))

The cat didn't follow as instead it went back to the milk. Yuki would rather have milk than go after someone just yet. The cat would wait for the right moment.

*Sage can feel and increasing number of pulses they are speeding up in number and the closer you get the more Stronger the Zyphier pulses are but they are often devoured by the stronger demon pulses trying to stop them. each pulse you feel seems to be a cry for help. Begging and pleading for help.*

Sage made his way quickly through the forest, placing his home made bomb into a fanny pack and jogging. As he jogged, he focused his mind and opened his third eye. Through it, he saw the pulses as waves, and he began adjusted his jogging to go towards the source of the waves. I know this power....what was his name....baaah, I'm bad with names...I'll figure it out when I find the source....

*Eventualy Sage finds himself in a very alien part of the forest. the ground is hard and red, the trees have scythe like tendrils that hang from them, off in the distance Sage can see a doe devouring her faun. There is a heat rising from the ground keeping it warm enough here to be spring.*

Sage stops at the outside of the area, and inspects it through his third eye. After a few moments of hesitation, he takes a stick from the normal part of the forest, and continues following the pulses of chakra.

*He further he follows the pulses the greater the mutations become. The more horrific the plants become. The epicenter though appears to be a very normal looking white rosebush. Well normal that is until what looks like the result of necromancy with amphibians hops along. As the toad gets near the rose bush the bush lashes a branch out at him. flowers start turning from white to pinkish to bright crimson read as the toad shrivels up and starts to look like it was mummified until it finally dies, all the blood pulled from it's body, all the fluids, all the life.*

Sage quirked a brow at the strange surroundings. either an illusion...or a large bit of playing god has been going on around here...perhaps I can lure the source of this out into normal lands...where I will be more farmiliar with the life...rather than at a disatvantage...granted, I've probably already fallen into the trap. oh well, time to try things out then.
With a shrug, Sage tossed the stick like a javelin at the bush in the center, and as it wobbled through the air, he shouted out, " come on out of hiding! it's time to face the piper and pay him to play at your nemesis' party instead of your own!"

After a little bit, she found herself on one of the couches. After the traveling she'd done today she'd realized she was quite tired, and ended up taking a nap

~=Hello? Hello? Is someone out there?=~ Sage gets hit with a telepathic message that sounds like the voice of a crying child. In his mind he can see a small purple haired boy sitting in a room sorounded by all manner of eldritch fiends plucking out his memories and editing them and then putting them back in his head as fast as they can. Another force is pulling out the edited memories and trying to put back in correct ones. But it is one and the fiends are many and they are easily overtakeing him.
~=Help me, please, help me. I'm...down here, help me.=~ Sage can feel the meaning of the words. The person crying for help the boy is under the rose plant, the plant was ment to keep him from being disturbed while the fiends worked on him.

Sage nods, and pulls out the explosive with no fuse. he winds up like a pitcher on the mound, and hurls the strange, crystalline grenade at the plant with adequate force. As he throws it, Sage summons a small plug of ectoplasm where the fuse should be, and as the crystal ball hurtles towards the plant, the unstable plug reacts with the air, and catches flame. When the crystal reaches about 2 feet distant from the bush, Sage dives to the ground and covers his head. simultaneously, the flame of the plug hits the paste within. The crystal ball quickly heats up, then explodes into a rain of shards and fire.
if I'm lucky, the one inside won't be too harmed, and I'll be able to help him.....if I'm not lucky...the bush will be immune to fire and I'll have to think of a new strategy...or worse, the captive will be mortally wounded by the shards of hot ectoplasm.
As he covered his head with his hands, Sage replied with a short telepathic message, ~I'm here to help, just try not to die from the shards of flaming pointiness eh?~

*As Sages bomb blows up it burns away the plant tearing it up the concosive force uprooting the plant and revealing below it's roots what looks like a clear glass or crystal tube made from one piece of glass or crystal. Inside of it is a thick fog that swirls around the form of a monster. It's wings, have feathers of scarlet, yellow, and green. The face looks like a mix between snake, dragon, and man. the horns on it's forehead say Oni, while the the spines along it's back scream dragon. It is Zyphier's Chimeric form. The evidence that he was only 1/3 human to begin with. As Sage looks at the fog part of it condenses into the form of a screaming skull and it shoots up ward at him but is trapped in the crystal chamber but a burst of arcane energy sparks from the many runes that cover the surface of the camber. The chamber is still buried in the ground though.*

Sage quickly got up and jogged over to the chamber. Arcane runes? I didnt know they had mages around this land....how strange...this is going to be a bit different then won't it...
Sage examined the tube carefully, and nodded a few times. it would be better to leave the container sealed for now, however the one inside still needs help. it would be nice if I had someone to watch my back while I try this, but I suppose that's not much of an option right now.
Sage moved over and sat cross legged next to the container. He then closed his eyes and leaned in towards the Crystal structure. He held out his hands and placed them atop it, and began to take deep breaths. Sage opened his third eye, using it's gaze to pierce the crystal. He then reached out with his mind, attempting to push his way into the structure with mental force alone. As he pushed, he sent a telepathic message to the one inside. ~let me in, that I might assisst you in your endevors. Allies are always a good thing to have in a fight, especially against powers Arcane.~
