It began slowly. A bank of dark clouds came scudding low across the sky, the promise of rain clearly evident in their puffy gray mass. With the dense clouds came a dwindling of the light, casting all into deeper shadow. A chill wind blew from the east, and the sun disappeared. The shades seemed to gather together, centered around a small valley between two crested hills covered in scrub brush and knotty pine. The shadows seemed to leech the color and vitality away from all they touched, and the thin grass grew brittle and yellow. Pine leaves fell to the suddenly dry ground, even as swaths of bark sloughed off like a lizard's skin.

Only after the plant life had succumbed, did the earth itself begin to rumble and roil, the surface breaking apart into a mass of freshly turned dirt. That soon gave way as well, before the inky blackness from before seemed to rear up like a snake, spreading out until it had become a large disc floating in the air. Within that disc, it's center seemed to stretch away into the horizon, into infinity. And within that deep shadow, something stirred. A shape seemed to detach itself from the inky abyss, before it dragged itself out of the disc itself, to collapse on the ground.

Keishi looked up at the sky, not blinking. She'd done it! It had been a long and strange journey, but she had finally fought her way back to the living world! She was dead, she knew there was no changing that. But her spirit had been strong, strong enough to survive the ordeal. At least that was what she had believed. And now, she had discovered firsthand that it was the truth. She still wasn't alive, but she was back! She leaped to her feet, before stretching her arms out toward the sky and screaming, letting her voice cry out far past what a living creature's lungs could sustain. Miles away, wild animals shuddered in their burrows, and human babies broke out into bouts of crying.

It was so intense! Life, all around her! She envied them their lives, she wanted her own life back. But she knew that was not to be, she couldn't simply take another's life. Even if it was possible, she couldn't have countenanced it. It was her personality and spirit that had enabled her to come back; she couldn't just discard her morals so easily! But all the same, she envied the life for what it possessed. Life, all around her. Large and small, of all sizes and strengths.

She shook her head, trying to snap herself out of her flight of fancy. She hadn't come back to life for such a purpose! No, she had come back to experience life, to rediscover what she had lost! She had died young, and had deeply regretted it. Now she had seized a chance to make up for that loss, to go out and act like she was alive again! Like she was a person again. She couldn't face her parents, not after they had been put through her death once already. They had hopefully found peace by now. No, she had to take a new life for herself, a new personality. Though she would keep her name. It was all that she had taken with her to the other world, after all.

She had experienced a lot in that world, the world of the dead. She had discovered truths about herself, and about the universe. She had come to grips with her death, and she had discovered what she had wanted out of life. And she had learned how to fight. She had learned how to fight well. With that in mind, she became aware of her body, of her accoutrements. She had brought her tools with her from the other world? Amazing! She hadn't thought that possible! She had learned to use them well, as extensions of her body. To have to replace them would have been a great blow. To realize she had kept them a special moment of joy. With them, she could fight. But still, she would need to learn anew. She knew that fights in the real world were different from the other world. She would have to learn an entirely different method of fighting, in order to do well here. And she didn't want to return to that other world, not just yet.

¤*Eiji Yakushi*¤
╚══════════════╝

Arriving at the Shinobi Academy Eiji Yakushi, was incredibly well dressed in his usual attire, he wore a decorative, overly ornate uniform he had had tailor made for him. He dressed impeccably and this was because he assumed a certain appearance that would be kept up at all times. It was simply because that this is how he was raised. Not long before he arrived here he and his family had returned to the Shinobi world from the Western nations, where he had adapted this style of dress from military officials. “The architecture of this place is incredible I’m sure they’ve spared no expense… “ placing his hand on his chin he stroked his chin as he walked through the halls, the students were all younger than him but that hardly bothered him at all, it allowed him a certain sense of superiority to his academy class mates. “However in the shinobi realms, I suppose that things are a little different than the rest of the world. So I shouldn’t be surprised at the simple elegance of this place.” Chuckling a little bit he brushed his hair over to the side out of the way of his eyes. The way he wore his hair down under the hat he was always seen wearing, it was one of the accents of the entire outfit. The reaction of the charismatic Yakushi was as usual, he got looks of awe from his female peers, and looks of disdain from the opposite. Holding his head high he walked through the halls and observed the various techniques that the ninja were learning here and knew that he wouldn’t have any problem learning any of them, it would only be a matter of time before he was recognized as one of the most talented ninja the academy had ever seen. A small smirk rolled across his mouth as he entered a small courtyard area of the academy, there was two ninja sparring in a circle. The smirk he wore stretched further across his face, approaching the circle a couple of students looked over at him and he began to speak, “Is this what passes for potential in this land? Surely you all must be junior students of some sort, because your attacks are slow, you will be crushed under the hand of a real fighter.”

The two ninja stopped and looked at him, one of them was slender and short, he was quicker than the other but he looked like he was winning the fight, he spoke first to the Yakushi, “Well look at you, tough guy who just showed up at the academy thinks he can take us on. I’d like to see you try loser!” swinging his arm out he took a fighting stance in front of Eiji. As the silver hair noble fixed the cuffs of his jacket he rolled his neck as he continued his smug look. Chuckling quietly again he looked at both ninja raising one of his hands he gestured with two fingers for the ninja to come at him, Yakushi was a warrior, he was a prodigal fighter as well as a scholar, he knew that he wouldn’t have trouble taking down either of these students, he had much more practice than he was sure either of them did. “You really want a piece of me? Ok punk let’s do this, Saku, get back.” Waving his friend away he dug his feet into the ground and prepared to attack.

“Hey now, I wanted to fight you both, but I suppose I can start with you, I’ll make this quick for you,” Yakushi stayed so calm and cool, everyone surrounding them just knew that whatever Yakushi was going to do was going to be brilliant. As soon as he finished speaking the young man leaped into action, taking a couple steps towards Eiji he leapt in the air and swung a massive punch. Yakushi grinned and slipped his head away from the punch, stepping back with two graceful steps, he shrugged and readjusted his hat. As the man kept on the offense, he spun back with a massive kick, leaning back he narrowly avoided the kick, but avoided it nonetheless. In what seemed like a split second he struck, the impact from the kick knocked his hat backwards. In a lightning flash of a step he stuck the young ninja as he was off balance, the counter quickly shot the ninja to the ground. The follow through from the punch left him in a stepped forward position, reaching back he grabbed his hat, flipping it around he placed it back on his head and adjusted it again. “Well well, looks like that’s all, too bad.” The ninja lying on the ground was out cold. Yakushi’s clever styles of fighting capitalized on counter strikes, it was the main type of attack he threw, it allowed him to act second in a fight, which is what he felt looked better to the public. They saw him get attacked followed by the quick defense of himself. “So, any questions?” without allowing anyone to answer he carried on again addressing the stunned crowd, “I assumed not, I hope that none of you will be attempting to approach me with such fool hardy challenges anytime soon, or you will suffer the same tragic fate as your friend here,” brushing his silver hair out of his face he carried on past the friend of the knocked out ninja, “Now where was I…” walking back into the academy the crowd was left in disbelief of what had just happened. Walking back into the Academy he wouldn’t be looked upon as an outsider the entire time he attended.

--------------------------------------

He had finished his business at the Academy sooner than even he had expected, he ended up challenging the final exam and leaving as a Genin rank ninja before he had even had a chance to make any friends. Although he had gained a handful of followers he never really considered any of them on his level, he had no reason to believe that he was leaving anything behind. He was a forward thinking and forward moving individual, he had no time for waiting around with some students. He wanted to make a real impact on the ninja world and that involved leaving the academy and entering the world.

His next goal would be to find himself a suitable group of allies he could rely on, his comrades would be essential in his plan moving forward, he had drawn this plan up quite some time ago. He had no idea how he would accomplish these goals but the first step would be doing some research on just who the most essential piece in this game would be. He would need to figure out just who this person was going to be, his plan would be one that would bring peace to the ninja land that had been in turmoil since the last shinobi war. Although the Kage and higher ups in the world wouldn’t admit it they were forced to face the disheartening truth that the world was in chaos, it was a world wide problem, but if there was someone who could solve it and bring the world out of darkness, it would be Eiji Yakushi. He would need to return home to gather intel on some of the ninja who would be vital to his plan moving forward, once he had a list he would approach them personally and sway them towards his cause, the ultimate goal of uniting the ninja world under a singular banner.

Leaving the Academy for what he was sure would be the last time, he didn’t look back the future was bright for the young ninja. And this would be simply the first step into the world that would surely feel the impact of a being unlike they had ever seen thus far, the Silver Flare, Eiji Yakushi.

Jutsus Learned:
[N] Bushin no Jutsu: 300 Skill Points This technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the clone gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

[N] Art of Substitution: 400 Skill Points This is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

[T] Tree Climbing: 600 Skill Points The Tree Climbing technique serves a dual purpose. The first is that it helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. The second is that it teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise.

[T] Water Walking: 600 Skill Points A variation on the Tree Climbing Technique, Water Walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.

"Oh yes.. Yes I am very happy that Momma let me come train."

Annie said skipping to the academy. Her eerie yellow eyes started to beam when her mother told her this would be the year that she would be allowed to train. She had been punished for many other years for either operating on cats, dogs, or other larger to smaller animals. Annie had been fascinated with playing operations and genetics since her birth. Her doctor saved her life and she thought she owed it to him, and she had to be the best possible. She only looked up to the sky.

"Hmm? Oh I don't know supposedly he died. I know it is always sad to think about him that way. That he died. He was one that saved us. Well maybe part of his soul is inside of me huh Mister B."

She looked up to the sky again. Nothing hanging over head. She only brushed her dress off again. As she got happy looking down at her pretty dress. It was the most beautiful dress that money could afford. But then she cut it up and restitched it herself. She made her mommy mad sometimes when she did that, but it was fun. Her mommy loved to buy her things but she liked it better this way. She looked up in the sky again as she scratched her head a bit with a needle.

"huh? Oh what Mister bee? Oh no there is nothing to be scared of..after all if they get to scary.. you can just step on them. Then we can take all the pretty blood and make some science with them. Okay? So Don't worry Mister B.. if they make you cry we will make them kiss the angels."

Annie said with a smile. She dragged her feet a bit as he sat outside the academy. It didn't take much for her to understand the basics of ninjutsu, and genjutsus. She learned so much with understanding how to contract her titan; Mister Bee. However, Mister Bee was so scared of going out in public. He always felt that they were jduging him. However, he followed her. He followed her no matter where they went. She would always make sure that she was okay. Annie always made sure that Mister Bee was safe as well. They were all each other had in the world.

"Yes Mister Bee. I promise to keep you safe. huh? Aww? really? I would love for them to see you though. Aww!!! Fine. You are being such a baby today. But If I get in trouble are you going be there to help huh huh huh Mister B?"

She sat there and waited for the answer. However, She only turned when she saw one of the academy instructor waving at her. Annie looked back up to the sky again. She only folder her arms and stomped off. She turned her head slightly and stuck her tongue out. Annie skipped to the instructor who politely introduced himself.

"Hello you must be the young girl from Hidden Tree they told me to be expecting. Jeez they are starting them earlier and earlier. I don't quite recognize your clan name though... You guys must be new. Anyways Annie I am your trainer... you can call me Yana. I seriously haven't seen a ninja as young as you in a while. Who are you talking too Miss."

Annie looked up to the sky. She twisted her hair a bit. She didn't know exactly who she was talking about. She looked up to the air and gave a bit of frown. Her voice almost started to crack but it had a bit more of a whine to it. Her little pale yellow eyes started to fill up with the clear salty tears. She didn't know what exactly to do until she blinked and tears started to pour down her face.

"who are you talking about Yana? There is nobody out here besides me and you. Are you making fun of me? That's not nice Miss yana.. I thought you were going to train me not try and hurt my feelings.."

Yana looked at the little sutdent and waved her hands back and forward. She couldn't deal with student this young. She didn't know how. She was more sue to beating her students into submission rather then hold their hands. She never wanted them to feel good about themselves. However feel terrible until they started to do better. However this idea didn't work for those that were under age. She only placed her hand on her head. As she looked to see Annie's eyes were even more filled with tears. She blinked and they just started to fall. Yana waved her hands faster and faster.

"Wait wait wait. That's not what I meant at all. Why would you think that huh? Come on instead of spending our day at the academy. How about we go get some ice cream instead. Doesn't that seem like a better way to spend a suny day like today. Isn't that better than spending all day kick and punching. we can just have such a good day. Ice Cream the park... I can give you a couple of scrolls and you just learn on your own accord. You seem smart enough."

Annie smiled politely and bowed. She turned her head nad the tears were gone from her pretty little face. Her bright Yellow eyes only looked at her trainer politely. She locked onto the m with the promise of icecream. She clapped a bit and grabbed Miss Yana's hand. She gently clinched on as she looked up to her.

"Oh that sounds great Miss Yana. I am so happy that we are getting ice cream."

Miss Yana brushed the embarrassed sweat off her head. She couldn't help, but think she might have been conned. But she couldn't be known as the instructor that made little babies cry. How would she ever live that down? she did what was easier. Bribe the little kid and hope for the best. Miss Yana took her to the small icecream shop. They walked together through the park. They watched the small butterflies and the small animals that ran through and played at the park. Annie looked up to the sky once more. She looked up to Mister Bee.

They played together for the rest of the day. Miss Yana walked Annie back to the academy grounds. She was happy to end this day. But for Annie this had meant the world. She gave a polite smile and she walked away. She turned to look up her giant. Even though she had such a great day with miss yana. It all meant so much more when she was together with Mister Bee.

"Oh yes I did have fun with Miss Yana.... huh.. yes the book is helping. But I knew most of this after learning how to create you. This stuff is for kids. Huh? Oh no I forgot to bring you back something to eat. Maybe next time ey?"

She said with a giggle.(x2)

It was a lazy afternoon, the sun was high overhead and casting it's heat down shamelessly. The leaves were just beginning to turn, to herald the coming fall. There had been spotty rain just a few days before, but that had long since dried up. Now, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. A cool breeze blew for a moment, sending a scattering of fallen leaves and bits of dry grass across the vista that was the small hill. Several of those pieces of flora landed atop the figure sprawled out on the hill, dozing lightly. The contact, however slight, was nonetheless enough to wake them up, their eyes slowly opening as they shifted to a sitting position. Red eyes fixed on a point in the sky as they spotted a hawk soaring high overhead. A hand reached out, as if to pluck the bird from the sky. "..." They sighed, a hint of frustration evident in the simple expression.

They jumped to their feet a moment later, before lifting their arms high as they stretched. It was about time for them to get back. They broke into an easy run, a pace they would be able to keep up for hours. Passing through the woods, they moved with a sure grace that some would find surprising given their size. They weren't out of shape, far from it. But they were tall, and solidly built. Often, that was enough to convince people that they were heavier than they should be, though that wasn't the case. They were in their prime, and any bulk that they possessed was pure muscle.

The forest gave way to a cliff, a sharp drop that descended many dozens of meters until returning to the forest once more. They never stopped, they didn't even slow down. Instead they vaulted off the edge of the cliff, arms and legs outspread. An exhilarated shout rang out as they felt the wind tugging at their clothing, and whipping back their thick mass of dusky blonde hair. They burst through the leafy canopy before landing on a thick tree branch, balanced perfectly despite the thin slats of wood that were the base of their stylized sandals. Their black duster flared out behind them at the sudden stop, it's edges ragged from long years of use.

They hesitated only an instant, before they used the momentum from their fall to spring off of the branch and cover the rest of the drop in one steep drop. The trees here were immense, a vast stretch of old-growth forest that had grown over hundreds of years, if not more. The trees were a symbol of strength and resilience, and they had survived wars, fires and untold number of other hazards. They had seen the rise and fall of warlords, champions and heroes, as well as the worst of society. They endured, growing ever stronger, ever more robust. They also made excellent vantage points for mobility and reconnaissance.

The figure in the black duster rushed forward, sending up a flurry of fallen leaves in their wake. They sped up, almost vanishing from sight as the flickering shadows cast down from the treetops seemed to hide their presence. They cut an unerring path through the forest, dodging around the trees in their way while nonetheless continuing to orient precisely on their destination. That destination came into sight a moment later, still some distance away. It was a large building, surrounding but an entire complex of ancillary buildings. This was the Ninja Academy, founded many decades ago to teach those able to handle the rigors of the hellish training of the way of the shinobi. Those that survived would become ninja and kunoichi of their homelands, the tools that fought and died in the shadows to protect what was precious to them.

As the figure got closer, it became clear that their goal was not the actual Academy building, as first expected. Instead, it seemed to be one of the fields that was located almost directly behind the structure. The field was a simple grassy field, level and neatly trimmed, with a simple line cut into the ground around it's edges. It was easily forty meters long and twenty wide, more than big enough to be the site of a full-sized ball game. But this was not a field for games, it was a field of battle. And the figure's eyes were sharp enough to see that there was already someone there, standing in the center of the field. They clenched a fist before shouting out a challenge to the one standing in the field. They were still quite some distance away, but their cry was more than loud enough to be heard. It tore through the air, echoing several times over.

Despite the distance yet to cover, it took only a moment for the duster-clad figure to reach the field. They came to a sudden stop a scant few centimeters from the one who had been waiting for them, almost vibrating with absorbed momentum. The two created a striking contrast. The one who had been waiting was dressed in a striking ensemble, a form-fitting top that exposed her midriff and extended to a mask that reached up just past her nose. A red scarf with thin white lines was wrapped around her neck. She wore baggy red pants covered in a frayed gray cloth tied around the front. Her hair was a vibrant purple, though her eyes were the same shade of red as the one who had just arrived. The other was a full head taller than them, and was dressed in what was called the bancho style. The jacket that resembled a duster was in fact a gakuran, under which was nothing more than wound bandages covering her generous chest. Her pants were a slightly faded blue, tied with a simple piece of rope, and her shoes were nothing more than wooden sandals, with a single thin board extending down from the middle of each to add still more to their height. Their hair was a dusky blonde, and hung loose down their back in a thick mass. Perched atop their head was a cap, it's bill cut and weathered just as much as the rest of her outfit.

The two stared at each other in silence for a long moment. The bancho's glare was rife with restrained animosity, while the shorter woman's gaze was level and calm. Finally, the bancho spoke, her voice suitably deep for her statue. "Rin-senpai."

Rin smiled slightly before giving a shadow of a nod. "Daidouji. I thought you were going to be late."

Daidouji barked a laugh, shaking her head in a flurry of hair. "And miss this? Not a chance. I'm going to beat you this time, Rin-senpai!" She shifted into a ready stance, both hands clenched into fists, one arm raised to block high, while the other pulled back to be ready to strike. She shifted her footing, too, one foot moving back slightly to create a slightly more narrow profile, and compact her stance to give her some added force.

"What makes this time different from all of the other times, Daidouji? You've never even beat me once!" Rin didn't waste another instant before going on the attack, she threw a rapid series of strikes that seemed to come from every direction at once. She kept up the onslaught for several moments, pushing Daidouji back step by step. Finally, she finished with a springing kick, pushing herself back several meters by the simple expedient of kicking off against Daidouji's raised forearm. She reached behind her before pulling out her stylized Windmill Shuriken. Two of them, each bearing several thin but very sharp blades, connected on a swiveling ring handle, enabling them to slide into an open or closed configuration with a single flick of the wrist. She did so even as she drew them, the twin quartets of blades soon taking the appearance of their namesake. She prepared to rush forward in a fresh assault, but Daidouji had taken advantage of the moment she had used to draw her weapons to grab the initiative.

Daidouji rushed in to close the distance, seemingly not worried by the fact that her opponent had just drawn their weapons. She came in a headlong rush, before ducking low and swinging a tightly clenched fist high in a powerful uppercut. It didn't actually hit Rin, but the force behind the blow was such that it still knocked her back several meters, her feet skidding on the grass until she came to a stop. She spun on one foot before whipping one of the Windmill Shuriken at Daidouji, the blades glinting as they created the illusion of a solid disc of spinning metal, the revolutions enabling the blade to actually maintain it's flight. It scythed through the air almost completely silently, aimed directly at Daidouji. It was dodged without any real effort, as well as the second Windmill Shuriken an instant later, from where it had been hiding in the first's shadow.

Daidouji took a moment to taunt Rin then, waggling a finger at her. "You'll have to try a lot harder than that, that trick will never work on me!" She rushed forward in an explosive burst, grass and sod torn up in her passing as she dashed toward Rin. Her surprise blitz was successful, as well as the ensuing shoulder blow that knocked Rin sprawling head over heels in a rapid tumble. She didn't wait to give Rin a chance to recover, either, running along right behind her and lashing out with a savage kick that brought Rin's stunned form up to eye level with the taller Daidouji. A feral grin split her face as she pivoted on her lead foot and throw a right hook, a powerful blow that knocked Rin's head back even as her back bowed from the impact. Her momentum was instantly aborted and redirected, before she was sent flying to the left, bouncing several times against the unyielding ground.

She staggered to her feet a moment later, spitting out a bit of blood from where she'd bit her cheek. Her outfit was scuffed now, and stained with dirt and grass. But she was still capable of fighting, and far from finished. She held both hands out, palms facing Daidouji for a moment, before she closed them into fists and pulled them back and up. She shared a special connection with her Windmill Shuriken, and could make them do things that nobody else could. Like she was doing now. They were still spinning, long after they had missed Daidouji, and now they spun back, as if following an invisible circuit in the air. They were still virtually silent, spinning rapidly as they zeroed in on Daidouji's back. They would strike almost simultaneously, in a blow that could well leave Daidouji crippled if she was caught unaware.

She almost was. At the last instant, something she saw in Rin's eyes made her realize what was about to happen. Perhaps she saw them reflected in Rin's eyes. She dove forward, but it seemed her frantic effort was too little, too late. Only until her body, now embedded with the blades of the Windmill Shuriken, disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving a log in its place. Daidouji appeared a short distance away, frowning as she realized how close she had come. If she had been even an instant slower, it would have been too late. Her fists tightened, even as she began to prepare for another attack.

"You're still too slow."

She froze as she heard Rin's voice, hot against her ear. She swung her arm back in a vicious backhand blow, but it met only air. She had already moved away, and was standing back where she had been before, in the center of the field. Rin completed her taunt when she beckoned Daidouji to come at her again. Daidouji knew she was being baited, but she was also getting mad, making it a bit harder to think clearly. Even so, she knew another head-on attack would fare no better than all the others. That was how she had lost, all those other times. She had tried to simply overpower Rin, and couldn't keep up with her speed. That had led to her defeat, each and every time. So she forced herself to remain where she was, and sharpened her senses to be ready for any further shifts on the battlefield. There! She couldn't see or hear it, but she knew that the Windmill Shuriken were coming for her. Call it instincts, if anything. Rin wasn't holding them, therefore they were still a valid threat. So she spun around and jumped to the side, a smirk glinting for an instant even as she felt the passing of air as the two Windmill Shuriken passed through the area where she had been standing just an instant ago. If she would have tried another frontal attack, it would have been likely that she wouldn't have had the attention to spare to realize they were coming again.

"Turning your back on your enemy? You're getting sloppy, too..." Daidouji felt a pair of arms wrap around her neck in an iron grip, applying pressure directly to the front of her neck. She didn't know the exact numbers, but a hold like this was designed to knock someone out in mere moments. Already, she could feel her body growing heavier, and her vision was beginning to gray out. She'd only have one chance to get out, before her strength would have degraded too much to avail her. So she used the Substitution technique again. The Substitution technique was a very useful jutsu, it enabled one to escape an attack. What it could not do, however, was let the user escape from a grapple. Instead it would take both people to whatever the destination was. She had felt Rin's grip on her neck tighten at the same moment that she used the Substitution jutsu, to ensure she wouldn't be shaken off too easily. Luckily for Daidouji, that wasn't what she had planned.

Instead, she had chosen to move to a place immediately in front of a tree. The instant she appeared, she was already shoving herself backward with all of her strength. Rin had realized what was happening, but not quickly enough to both release Daidouji and make her own escape. She was crushed between Daidouji's back and the solid tree, gasping as the breath was forced from her lungs in one great exhalation. They were both left reeling after that. Daidouji from Rin's chokehold, and Rin from being crushed against the tree.

They both managed to recover at roughly the same time, before facing each other with renewed determination. They had both been wounded, this fight was about to get serious. So they rushed to close the distance once more, before beginning to fight in earnest. A rapid fire series of blows came from both of them, individual strikes parried or deflected in an increasingly manic display of prowess. Neither could block everything, however, and ultimately they had to break apart. Both bore fresh wounds, bruises and contusions, signs of their recent flurry of activity.

Daidouji suppressed a groan as she breathed deep. She'd bruised a rib, at the least. That would limit her mobility, especially in regard to any punches she wanted to throw. She'd have to act fast if she wanted to use her trump card. She could tell that Rin had been put through the wringer as well, her own blows doing a lot more damage per hit. But if she knew her senpai, that would not be nearly enough to stop her. And sure enough, she could see Rin's eyes were still alight with determination and inner fire; she wasn't about to give up. In fact, it seemed Rin was finally getting serious. An instant later, she had clasped her hands together in a quick series of hand signs, before she performed a different jutsu, creating multiple copies of herself. Numbering at least a dozen, they all looked virtually identical, even down to the fresh series of wounds and bruises. All but one were a fake, and would be mostly unable to hurt her, but Daidouji couldn't afford to ignore any one of them. She would have to act now, before she lost the chance.

"I'm putting everything I have into this, Rin-senpai!" She raised a fist, before concentrating and gathering her chakra and internal energy into it. Her hand began to glow a bright orange, before she threw a punch at the army of Rins. The energy exploded out in a shockwave, a sphere of chakra that resembled a roaring lion's head, rushing at the clones. It was followed by a successive volley of the same, a massed assault of shockwaves in a barrage that spread from the center and extended to either side of the area where the clones had been preparing their own attack. "Dorya!"

The results spoke for themselves, a series of explosions heralded the destruction of at least a majority of the clones. If she was lucky, she would have also managed to hit the real Rin. But she didn't expect that. Instead, she was expecting that Rin had used her mobility and speed to use another Substitution jutsu, to escape just before the shockwaves hit. As such, she didn't even wait to see the results of her handiwork, and turned, preparing to meet the expected strike. And sure enough, there was Rin, a look of surprise on her face. Daidouji grinned, before lashing out with one final punch, putting the last of her strength into it. A final shockwave hit Rin at point blank range, creating a blast of such force that it nearly knocked herself off her feet, despite having braced herself before throwing the blow.

The clone burst in a puff of smoke, and Daidouji realized she had been tricked. She tried to turn back to where the rest of the clones where, but before she had finished her turn, she felt a sharp blow to the base of her neck. As everything went dark, she wanted to curse. Beaten again! Damn it, she was going to defeat her one of these days!

-------------

Daidouji opened her eyes, before levering herself to a sitting position. She had been knocked out, she knew the feeling too well to not recognize it. Looking around, she realized that she was still in the field. Rin was still there, too, and was already holding out a hand to help her up. She hesitated only an instant before accepting it and pulling herself up. She didn't hate her rival, she never had. Envied, sure, but not hate.

"You're getting better, Daidouji."

"But not good enough to beat you, right, Rin-senpai."

"No, not yet. But you'll get there. I look forward to that day." Rin smiled before turning to look out at the world beyond the Academy. They had both been here for some time, honing their skills and testing them against each other. In their class, nobody else could compete against either one of them. They could only teach each other so much before they would begin to stagnate. There was only one solution. She turned back to face Daidouji. Her kohai was still growing stronger by leaps and bounds, and soon enough she could well finally overcome her. She had no intention of making that any easier than it had to be. They would both need to become stronger. "Daidouji. I-"

Daidouji cut her off with a slight gesture. "I know what you're going to say. It's time to move on. We'll meet again, and when that day comes, I'll finally defeat you. Don't you dare lose to anyone else!" She grinned then, a big smile that showed a hint of mischief. She had yet to let go of Rin's hand, and took advantage of that to pull sharply on it. The surprise attack caught Rin unaware, and she found herself being pulled overhead in a wide arc. She responded quickly, though, and when Daidouji released her hand, she didn't let go in turn, and instead pulled Daidouji along with her. They both went sprawling, before sharing a laugh. After something like that, there wasn't anything more to say. So once they both regained their footing, they simply nodded to each other before taking their leave.

Kwaii walked into the academy and he only frowned. He didn't even understand why he had to be here. He wan't a ninja. His people weren't part of the whole Ninja world. But for whatever reason they decided that only the people that were worthy could learn the seals. He clinched his right hand tighter. He wanted to rip the head of Injustice. But he figured that starting here would give him the progress that he needed too... he could just go missing nin. But he would hate to fight his brethren to try and gather techniques. So THE FIST OF JUSTICE. Walked to the academy. He let his knuckles crack as he walked into the academy. He couldn't even access his first seal that he had since birth. His family had limited his powers. But he knew that he had to be like his all time hero Drago. He walked into the academy and he still had on his devil costume.

"Excuse me.. my Name is Kwaii.. I am here from Japan.. To learn under you for the time being..."

The Chuunins looked and nodded at him. They found it a bit odd that he was wearing such a costume. However, the ninjas had been getting weirder and weirder over the years. However, he had promise tattooed all over his body. IT didn't take him long for him to understand the basics of the ninja world. He was able to keep up with the academy Students that had been studying for months in the matter of moments. He only wondered why the ninjas had been chosen to be the worlds protectors. He and his clan would have been the better choice. However, he wouldn't make a big fuss. He knew there had to be a reason and his ultimate idol was a ninja. SO if he was a ninja he could be a ninja too. After a few more hours of trianing with the chuunins. Kwaii held up his hand.

"Thank you chuunins. But I believe my fist of JUSTICE is needed in the real world now. You have been wonderful.. and I am happy to be training in the same place that the GREAT DRAGO trained from... but now I must go and destroy evil from the world."

The chuunins scratched their head. This in fact was the place that Drago had trained. However, that had been over 40 years ago. As matter of fact nobody that trained with Drago was probably alive. However.. if that made him happy. It made him happy.

Kwaii walked outside and today would be his first day. His First Day to own the world. However he sat down on a bench before he went home. He pulled off his mask. He opened one of his comic books and he started to read through it. He looked at Drago and he read the story of how he killed the giants. He only wondered if he was ever going ot be anything like that. destroying the greater evils of the world. IF he was going to be able to destroy anything that stood against him. He only sighed a bit. He felt so weak compared to him. DRago followed his own moral compass.. Doing the greater good. Would he ever be able to know what the difference was... He clinched his right hand tighter.
A small hand gripped him on the shoulder. His eyes opened wide.

"Don't try and be someone else... Try to be the first you. Because their won't be another one of you. Your idol done things that I don't understand.. will never understand. But I think it would inspire him to know that he inspired somebody else.."

The older man continue to scoot off. Kwaii couldn't understand wanting to be somebody else. He only wanted to make Drago proud and he would. He stood up and jumpe in the air. He turned around and let his full right hand hit the bench splitting it in half. He looked at his arm and felt the power generating from it.

"Nice.."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NICE YOU BROKE MY BENCH HOOLIGAN!!"

"OH SO SORRY MISTER!!"

Kwaii ran as fast as he could. THe Old man was chasing Kwaii back to the docks. He shouldn't have broke that bench. But he had to see how powerful he was, and if he couldn't break a bench. How could he live up to the namesake of Drago. However, now he had his first taste of powerful. He wouldn't end until the world was full of good. (761 x3)

User ImageIt only took a moment of him standing still and staring, as the female he was trying to gain the notice of as well as get a better look at simply walked by him without a word, continuing on and not even giving him a glance or an answer. Raz slowly frowned as he rose a hand and brushed it underneath the mask he wore, pushing the mask upwards and out of his face. What a terrible person, not even giving him the time of day! He sighed as he slowly turned and began walking away in the hopes of finding a training ground or something similar that he could at least get some fun in on. After all he was here to learn, and a good way to begin learning was to actually get some decent training in. He had gotten around to doing the whole tree climbing thing, and the water walking thing wasn't all that hard either. Now all he really needed to do was strap on some weights and begin sparring in order to gain the fundamentals of a decent battle. What was he, as a puppet master, going to do if he couldn't handle himself in a battle of whits and fists?! Raz chuckled to himself as he neared the location of what was soon going to be his place of battle. There were a few shinobi sitting around and minding their own business. No real spars going on, that was for sure. The lack of sparring in the area actually set him off a bit. He was here in this area to train! Train! Not sit around lazily and do nothing! What did these shinobi think they were? Nara clan members?! He growled lowly under his breath and approached the closest shinobi he had lain his eyes on. The black haired male before him tilted their head upwards to look at him as he approached with the full bravado of someone read to fight. "Hey! Ki-" <******** off, queer. I'm trying to concentrate here.." The male says before he could even pull off a full challenge, Raz' eyes grew slightly wide as he looked at the male, before they hardened and he casually shifted his hands together into his sleeves. His head cocking slightly to the side as he frowned momentarily. "Excuse me? I was going to challenge you to a friendly duel to get some decent training in... But it appears like you've got some obvious issues to deal with." The male didn't seem to pay him much attention for the moment, and then they slowly turned their attention back towards Raz once again. Their eyes blinking, and a single tomoed sharingan forming within their gaze as their face contorted with annoyance. "This is the last time I say anything, f*****t. I'm busy, find someone else's d**k to try and suc-" The unexpected backhand to the face would send the male directly off the table he was sitting on and towards the sand pit of a sparring arena. Raz lowering and adjusting the mask over his face as he slowly began walking forwards and slipping his arms back within the sleeves of his clothing. "I don't like that mouth on you... And since you're not willing to nicely spar with me, we are going to do things the hard way." He would say, as he stepped into the pit, slowly taking the time to grab and adjust weights onto his waist, legs and arms. These weights significantly slowing him down as he attempted to situate his body with the sudden additional weight he had gained from them. The Uchiha had by now risen to his feet, holding a hand to his face as he glared angrily at Raz.

The Uchiha male would rush forwards, his hand shifting behind his back and drawing a kunai outwards in his hand. Brandishing the kunai in front of him now like the weapon that it is, he would reach Raz and lash out with the kunai, frantically slashing at Raz's chest with anger showing all across his face. Raz dodged backwards, the kunai sliding through the clothing wore across his body. Continuing backwards a few more steps, Raz flicked a hand outwards and a set of chakra strings connected with a nearby training dummy, the training dummy itself coming alive and bounding forwards towards the back of the Uchiha male. With a few flicks of his fingers, the new puppet he had took control of would thrust a single fist forwards towards the male's back. The hit striking them in the back and sending them collapsing to the ground at Raz' feet. Raz shook his head slowly behind the mask as he looked down at the male before his feet as he takes a few more steps back, the training dummy moving and stepping into the way between himself and his opponent as he slowly rose and adjusted the strings he formed with his other hand. "Are you done already? You're a Uchiha right? Terrible..." Raz sighs and shifts his hands a moment as he looks down at the cut clothing he was wearing. The Uchiha male slowly rose to his feet and moved his free hand behind his back, pulling out a second kunai as he threw the second one towards Raz and rushed the puppet with his first kunai. Raz shifted his hand to the side, the puppet moving and throwing itself into the kunai before rushing forwards in order to attack the male before it. A single arm raising and thrusting it forwards like a punch, and yet the Uchiha would duck to the side as the single tomoe spun in their gaze. Raz's head tilted to the side in order to see passed the puppet's moving body, his gaze watching closely as the Uchiha shifted in stance and came running forwards, in an attempt to bypass the puppet completely and get within range of Raz. Raz flung his hands to the sides and then pulled them back, the puppet drawing itself backwards and being sent towards the Uchiha's back once again as Raz pulls himself backwards and away from the Uchiha. As the Uchiha gets close, he flings the kunai in his hand forwards towards Raz, something that Raz was incapable of dealing with at the current time. His gaze snapping to the kunai as it slams into his mask, cracking and breaking it with little difficulty due to the mask being made out of nothing more then plain wood. He growled angrily as he moved backwards the puppet moving forwards and leaping into the air, a spinning kick being sent towards the Uchiha as the Uchiha turns in order to attempt blocking the new attack from the puppet. A single arm raised up to block the attack, but instead of correctly blocking, Raz pulls hard on the strings of his puppet causing the force of the attack to nearly double. The puppet's leg cracking against the Uchiha's arm, shattering over the male's head and sending him flying to the side and across the ground. "Well.. I think I'm done here.. Doesn't look like you're going to get up. Evil never wins after all! And your words were certainly a shining example of a small evil." Raz turns and begins walking away, the chakra strings dissipating into the air and causing the puppet itself to collapse onto the ground. His golden yellow eyes looking from one side to the other, as he shifts his hands into his belt and heads away from the academy, he had learned enough of what he needed to, it was about time he headed to Hidden Sand and began what he could of his own personal adventure.

Hitomi Ichi (Orimara)

Hitomi yawned and stretched her petite body. Today was the day she was going to set out in search of her father. He had disappeared a few years before, looking for an escaped slave. He had told her that he would be right back and that it wouldn’t take long. She patiently waited at her home in Hidden Moon, but he never returned. During his absence, she took it upon herself to go into the town and explore, something she was never allowed to do before. She got to meet and know everyone in the town in a short period of time. Soon, they were giving her homemade sweets and drinks when she came to visit. Months became years. Hitomi’s father remained missing and the village took it upon themselves to take care of the little girl. Then one of the villagers told her on a place where she could become a ninja just like her father, but it meant leaving the village. The next morning, she pack what little belongings she had and set out.

Hitomi climbed out of the bed she slept in and walked over to the window. Her big green eyes looked over the village she had traveled to. She had just gotten there the night before and the journey from Moon was a long one. She didn’t do much sightseeing and almost passed out in the middle of the street. A woman had passed by her and offered her a place to sleep. Hitomi smiled a little and went to her backpack and pulled out a picture she had stolen from her father of him and a woman who she assumed was her mother.

“Good morning Mother and Father,” she said as she sat down next to the window. “I start school today! I’ll be a full fledge Ninja soon… Then I’ll find you father…” She traced the red-haired man with her little finger and then looked at her mother. She truly wished she had gotten to know the woman that gave birth to her, but sadly she had died during childbirth, or so her father told her. When the tap tap tapping from her door caught her attention, she looked up to see the woman from the night before entering with a tray in her hands. She smiled warmly at Hitomi and began to walk towards the desk in the room.

“I brought you breakfast,” she said as she place the tray down.

“Thank you very much!” Hitomi said, a smile on her face. She hopped off the bed and hurried to the desk. She placed the photo next to the tray and gazed at the food. She clapped her little hands together, like she normally would just before she ate. “Thank you for the food!” She happily began to eat and the woman giggled as she stood next to the table. Then the woman saw the tattered photo next to the tray.

“Oh what’s this?” the woman asked as she picked the photo up.

“That’s my mommy and daddy!” the little girl said as she stuffed her face. “Daddy told me momma died a long time ago and then he went missing too! That’s why I’m going to be a ninja! Just like my mother and father! Then I’m going to find my father!”

“Sweetie… This woman… She’s our kage… She’s very much alive…” Hitomi just looked at the woman, her eyes wide in disbelief.

“But papa told me she was dead…” Hitomi said when she took the photo back. The woman had walked out and then returned with another photo of the Hokage with a few other members from the village and handed it to the little girl. “I don’t understand… Papa said she died a long time ago…”

The woman kneeled down beside her. “It seems to me that your father didn’t tell you the truth dear… But you’ll never know until you graduate from the academy… Then you can find him and ask him yourself… Or wait until the Hokage returns from her mission.” Hitomi looked at the woman, the question clear on her face. “She was last heard being in Sand… but she was attacked and they took her to a secured location. No one in the village knows where she’s at.” Himoti frowned for a moment, but went back to smiling. Her mother was still alive. If she stayed there, then it would be only a matter of time until her mother came back, but then there was her father. Is she stayed and waited on her mother, then she wouldn’t get as much time to find her father and if she went looking for her father, there was no telling when she would get to meet her mother.

“I’ll become the best Shinobi ever!” Hitomi said smiling. “Then I’ll find my papa and come back here to momma!” Hitomi finished eating her food, grabbed her clothes and ran into the bathroom. She dressed quickly, brushed her teeth and her hair and ran out the room. She grabbed her back pack that was waiting beside the door and headed out into the village. The village was different during the day. A lot more people walking around and a lot less creeps. Hitomi happily ran all the way to the school. She followed a few of the kids and sat in the back of the class. She watched and took notes and when the children went outside, she practiced just like the other kids. She came to realize that she had a lot of natural talent. It didn’t take her long to master Henge no Jutsu and Bushin no Jutsu and she started working on the Art of Substitution. She had a couple bad turn outs, not being able to get any nearby objects to switch as she get kunais through at her. She quickly dodges out of the way and frowns. “I couldn’t do it again! I’m never going to get this...” She pulled her knees close to her body and rested her forehead on them.

“Don’t worry Hito-chan!” one of the other kids said as she sat down beside her. “You’ll get it. It took me a long time to do it too. I could help you if you want?” Hitomi looked up at the other girl and smiled. Hitomi stood up and stretched as the other child ran to the line to throw another kunai at her. Hitomi was ready and nodded at the girl. The girl threw the kunai at Hitomi. She quickly did the hand signs and the next thing she knew, the kunai hit a piece of wood where Hitomi was standing. “I did it!” Hitomi jumped up as the other girl ran up to her and hugged her. Hitomi learned three fifths of the techniques that were there. A few more classes and she would be done.

“I’m almost done father! I’ll be with you soon!” She exclaimed as she skipped back into the class room. She sat at her seat in the back and looked at the teacher. He had a huge box on the table and Hitomi wondered what was in it.

“Today is a very special day,” the teacher said as he walked behind the box. “Some of you are graduating. These students have trained really hard and have done exactly in their studies.” The teacher smiled and started to name the names on the list. Hitomi watched as the kids got their headbands. She knew she wasn’t getting hers. She had too much to learn. “Hitomi Ichi.” Hitomi looked up, surprised that her name was called out. She slowly walked up to get her headband. “Some things are better learned outside of class.” The teacher smiled and handed the headband to Hitomi.

"Ehhhhh? That looks like fun, Shea. How's it done?" Within moments of speaking a large set of breasts would rest upon the back of a young girl. The girls' body would tense before she would shiver. Hands delicately slipped into white gloves reach out around the shoulders and down to the desk to touch tiny plastic pieces. The girl stutter's through it and informs that one questioning her that she's playing a game called Chutes and Ladders. "Ooo hoo! Show me how to play," the playful voice would say before the weight of the woman's protrusions are gone and the sound of heels clapping against the ground is heard. Rounding the table, the gloved hands never leaving it, the female would finally come to sit across from the girl in an ornate golden chair. Her golden gazes running across the bland girl before her before fixing on the tiny pieces again. The basics of the game are explained by the bland girl, a female fair in face, and a young woman wearing a retainer. The three begin a new game to demonstrate the instructions they gave as the small hands of the female are brought up to her lips.

With a girly gasp she would say, "Wow! It sounds so fun! But watching all of you I don't think I can manage to do it." The group reassures her and soon she is playing as well. It isn't long before the game is through and the female with the golden eyes wins. She would peer into the nearly mesmerized gaze of the girls before inquiring, "What were the stakes? Do I get some sort of prize?" When they shake their heads quickly the girl pouts. She points her index fingers at her temples and moans, "Oh poo. And I was so looking forward to getting something for winning." The girls would aim to comfort the female only for them to suddenly freeze. As they linger in suspended animation it almost appeared, the girl would adjust a glove with one hand and stow a black mechanism back into her satchel with the other. She runs her hand across the pink star, Miye etched into one corner. "I guess that we'll just have to make do the best we can. You all continue as you were before I came," she would state while standing from the chair. She would run her hands along her gray miniskirt before adjusting her white button up beneath her tan vest.

"And I'll be on my way. Bye nao~." She would wink while giving a small, stiff wave to her side. She would be leaning forward a touch and far off to the side. She would kick her farthest leg to be beside her bent one before turning and beginning to walk off. Her breast would rise and fall, swaying when they could manage, as her hips would do the same. The girls would begin playing again, the star markings that had been in their eyes gone, as the golden, starry eyed girl would toss her hair with a flick of her wrist amidst her locks. She would proceed along the path leading out of the Academy with a smile, one hand always resting against her bag slung over her shoulder.

Miye would stroll along the halls of the Academy, hardly taking note of anything, and just walk about. Her aimless strolling would be peculiar to anyone, even those who know her, but was nothing out of the normal. When traveling around in Hidden Moon it's only smart to walk without any real direction to get anywhere. Still, they knew very little of her abilities so they probably couldn't grasp how little mental ability she needed to spare for making sure not to run into anything. After all, she had the rare ability of Mind's Library and her powers relative to Mental Out. She wasn't the least bit formidable, but not being able to locate her destination without mental thought was little more than child's play. Her brown loafers clack as they hit the ground while she moves to stand in front of an open doorway. She would have the toes of the shoes facing inward, her eyes wide and staring, with a finger to her lips. "Oh mah, mah. There's more people already here than I thought. Hm?" She would center her gaze on an unfamiliar specimen. A male in a school luckily filled to the brim with girls at the present? Quite the interesting spectacle for today.

She would not approach him, though she wanted to. Instead Miye would draw into the room and move through the congregation of long benches for seats until coming to a row at the back and distant from others. She would make to sit when the instructor would call her up to the front of the room. Now what could she want? Slipping back into the isle she would glide down the steps. With her back to the class she would stand in waiting for the instructor. At her back her hair would seem to be split and spread outward, almost as if something were blocking it at the center and then further preventing if from falling along her back outward. An open ended like structure to her hair."Hmmm? Is there something you want from me sensei? Don't tell me you are upset with me coming later than my normal early entrance!" She would clasp her hands over her mouth before the teacher would tell her that it was fine time she introduced herself to the class. She had dodged introductions for almost a week now and it was time for her to stand before the class and greet them properly. A bold demand, even for a teacher, to request she speak publicly. Though small and irrelevant, this was still a decent collection of bodies.

This was still outside of her comfort zone. "But I'm so shy, sensei. I think I might faint." She rests the back of her hand against her forehead, sweeping her neck and head off to one side. She would squint her eyes before pursing her lips slowly. The boy in the room would watch this, a bit taken by her antics, and would smile at her. Feeling a shiver run up her spine, Miye would stop and turn from him and look directly at the instructor. "Far be it for me to deny your demand, but I'm not built for public speaking. I would much prefer to casually introduce myself to my peers on my own." No manner of reasoning would persuade the teacher to let her continue on without giving her fundamental details to the class. After finally being allowed to return to her seat until being called again, Miye would narrow her eyes and think. Was she willing to try again with Mental Out so soon? And if she did then how many would she be able to manipulate mentally? Then there was the issue of control. She could very well remove her restrictions to select a mass amount of targets, but would then be forced to affect all of them the same. She would sigh, realizing that her best chance was no chance at all.

Korren entered the Academy with a certain level of skiddishness. While she had no doubt in her mind that she could easily pass whatever trials awaited her here, she dreaded the idea of showing her face in broad daylight. Fingers trembling ever so slightly, she tightened the back of her wine colored scarf so that she could feel it secured against her so tightly that her nose would break before the scarf could fall away. It was her only layer of security here. She was sure that she was a vision of terror without it, and it quite simply wasn't fair that she should have to bare this burden among so many other beautiful girls. She was nearly 17, and though her ninja skills were superior to most girls her age, she was still bothered deeply by such trivial things as boys, popularity and beauty. Yes, Korren was aware that to a shinobi these things were luxuries and perhaps even more so aware that her interest in them disappointed her superiors, but she could not shake the innate urge to feel accepted by peers.

She ran her tounge across the smooth backs of her sharp teeth, now clenched from stress and discomfort. Nobody was looking her way. Good. that meant she was fitting in. Cautiously she took a seat in the back corner, so that she could have a better view of the room. It was set up like a lecture hall, with long rows of desks tiered so that the back row could see over the heads of the rows in front, and there was a 10ft black board on the fore wall, covered in white chalk residue and thus she deduced that it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Other students steadily filed in around her, so many that there was no chance the seat beside her would remain empty. Pity, she had so hoped she's have been able to take comfort in that. Oh well, there were more important things at hand, like scoping out her competition. There appeared to be a blonde girl to the middle left hand side of the room with a zeal like Korren had never before experienced. She seemed to be talking to another pair of students playing chutes and ladders. She knew that game from somewhere, but couldn't quite place where she knew it from. She had many moments like this. She would remember the object or place, sometimes even something more, but then it would vanish just as quickly as it would come and she would get a sort of throbbing in her temple. Typically the pain would subside in moments if she were patient and let it pass, but if she tried to focus on the full memory it would grow stronger and stronger until she were forced into a violent frenzy.... She wasn't very proud of those moments. She usually ended up killing someone. In resignation she sighed and leaned back in her seat, one arm slung over the back idly as she slouched her torso forward.

She continued her crowd watching trying to look as common place as possible. She noticed a handsome looking fellow and his friends talking in a group near the front of the room. No doubt they were the local popular boys, as no girl entered without first looking on in their direction and giving a sort of subtle swoon. She longed deeply for that sort of attention. Intrigued by their tom foolery, she continued to watch them interact, subconsciously moving a hand to the back of her neck and playing in the short hair at it's nape. When se first woke up on the operating table, her hair had been very long and wavy, and her nervous habit would be to twirl it around her finger or stroke it close to her face, but after she'd been awake a little while and gained some independence, Roku- her trainer, convinced her to cut it all off so that it could not distract her any longer. She liked it better long, but it was ok now too; boyishly short and platinum white, the front barely long enough to tuck behind her ears.

Out of the corner of one yellow reptilian eye she caught movement, and sharply turned her head to face it. Some one in the class was waving up in her direction. She furrowed her brow and tilted her head slightly. 'Is he waving at me? do I know him?' Furrowing her brow confused, but admittedly somewhat excited that somebody had taken interest in her she hesitantly raised her hand and waved back, in a sort of slow unsure way. To Korren's surprise, the boy came racing up the stairs towards her row in the back with a very appealing friendly look on his face. She smiled behind her scarf trying to look as agreeable as she could muster when suddenly he stopped and took a hard right into the row in front of her! Thoroughly embarrassed she quickly put her hand down and started twiddling with her thumbs as the boy took up conversation with a pretty brunette in front of her. 'Jeez, I hope nobody saw that.... How silly of me to think he would have been waving at me.... so very silly indeed...' she sighed and slyly continued to watch him. He didn't appear to have seen her wave or even notice she was there, and neither did anybody else in the room. Dodged a bullet there, but man she'd come awfully close to humiliation in the first thirty minutes of her first day.... She decided she better keep her guard up against things like that, she didn't want to chance it again.....

"Febrie might be far too unstable for our plans. I'm uncertain if she can even manage to hold out until the demonstration." Ticking away at a keyboard is heard before it stops abruptly.

"My calculations are flawless. You should understand as you double checked them yourself. She will last until the revolution. This will assure to that." Murmuring and soon a new voice enters into the conversation.

"It seems to be a waste to stabilize her further. Her statistics are certainly poor compared to Janie but her abilities are sufficiently limited as a result. Though her abilities being limited was no mistake, the only issue I find is with Febrie having escaped. She could very well fall into the hands of one of those small minded asshats we call the elders." A scraping is heard as a cloaked figure stands from their seat. The chair they had been resting in reels before clattering to the ground. All cloaked heads shift to observe this figure at the head of the table. The second to speak would be that standing figure and they would clench their fist before making another sound.

"There are no deviations from the data. Everything that has happened has been according to our plans within an extremely minuscule margin of error. We accounted for her not being in the equation closely from the start. There is not a concern in the world that we have not taken into account. I can assure you that our time as METAL will come to fruition. All in favor of proceeding with the plan?" Silence befalls the dark room before black sleeves are raised into the air. Not a single person would leave both hands on the round table. "Very well. We will further the scope once we have gained sufficient data on the current probabilities." All of the cloaked figures would suddenly vanish, the room growing darker before becoming pitch black.

"Miye, Miye, Miye. Da dada da. Febrie, Febrie, Febrie… da da." A small girl no more than maybe six years old would be seen idly twiddling her fingers out in front of her. She would have her arms resting with the elbows against the table, her wrists bent, and her fingers pointed up and moving slowly towards her and then away from her. She would be sitting at the counter of a local ramen shop in Hidden Leaf, happily singing and fiddling as she sits on the wooden stool. As she would sit people would swarm inside and outside of the little shop to get a look at the child. One person would lift the curtains covering the entrance to provide themselves and a few others a decent view. The server behind the counter would set a cooled bowl of beef ramen on the counter and ease it towards the child. He would ask very carefully about her name but she would just continue to sing and make her fingers dance. Suddenly she would stop and shriek. Her eyes would settle on the ramen bowl after she would stand atop the stool as she would smile showing all of her top teeth. She would begin to stick her hand into the bowl only to see the person that set the dish down for her to hand her a small metal fork. She would take it, glancing over at a basket of chopsticks, before sticking the fork into a piece of meat.

People would crane to see as she would lift the beef, blow on it with one hand on standby near the fork in case she dropped the meat, before sticking the fork and the food with it into her mouth cautiously. When she see's it isn't hot then she goes in for another for of meat. She would chew the big piece she had in her mouth and swallow before doing as before with a new piece. The man behind the counter would ask again for her name in a kind way and she would let her fork rest inside of the bowl. The child would sit down now, turning her head to look at the people around her. "Febrie...?" She would say slowly but with a hint of question in her voice. Her small, timid tone of voice would invoke sighs and coos from those around which would in turn make the girl look back to the food giver and then back at the people around her. Every action would be slow, as if to show that she wasn't comfortable with the present crowd. It wouldn't be long before the one behind the counter who informed Febrie that he was the shop owner, head chef, and server for their small shop and soon shoo any who weren't there for a hot meal. This would make the small girl feel warm and safe as this person cared about her enough to notice that she was uncomfortable.

Certainly this person was showing her the good fortune that she had been taught about. When she is finished she would thank the man for the food before readying to leave. He would try and ask her more about her again but she would not respond. Instead she would hop out of her seat and head for the open doorway. Febrie would brush the bottom of the curtain serving as the door out of the way before coming to a halt just outside. She could feel the warmth of the sun on her skin and the sensation reminded her of when she first learned of the sun's warmth. As she would remember she would shift about in her satchel until pulling out a sucker. She would not seem to remove anything but the sheen of the candy fades. Once it does she shoves the item into her mouth and smiles. The girl would place one small foot in front of the other; making her way to another place that interested her.

"He's lost too much blood!" A female voice cries.

"He'll die at this rate!" Another female bellows.

"Don't die on me kid!" A male exclaims.

xxxxx"It all started with a joke and some smokes..." Everything goes from black to white as the voice goes on. This process is slow and seems to give off a pulling sensation. The sensation escalates before words are again spoken. "The sun's shining and it's warm. The grass is greener than ever on the side streets of this home town. One might even say the cracked up sidewalk and the few potholes hear and there are actually a nice touch. One might. There aren't kid's running around like normal, but there is a group of youngsters roaring with laughter in a small house." The scene is set just as described, the warm sun beaming down on the area with not a cloud to obscure it or decorate the sky. There's no one outside walking the cement sidewalks and a scarce amount of vehicles line the streets. The suburban feel is accented by the fact that this location is actually a cul-de-sac. Right where the curve peaks is the house, smaller than the others but quite large, would be the house. Nestled nicely between a house with a four car garage and a house with a three car garage, the two story home with its quaint features would have large windows where small figures could be seen prancing about behind the heavy curtains.

xxxxx"Whatever the joke was, it made them all laugh and jump around. They would smile amongst each other--boys smiling at girls and girls smiling right back--and continue to joke and play. Their feet would swing through the air before the two perched atop the island in the kitchen still their legs. They seem to stay frozen until another joke is made and they fling their legs outward. The male sitting beside the girl would take a tumble and hit the floor behind the island they were sitting upon. Not a second of pause would be allotted before the laughing grew louder at this. The boy telling jokes on the sofa in the living room would smile at the three young boys chasing one another in front of the window at the forefront of the house. A girl would come strolling into the room, eyeing each person before standing behind the couch." Transitioning harshly from outside of the house to the kitchen, the scene would play out just as expressed. Smiling and laughing youths positioned in the kitchen and living room, just enjoying each other's company. The colors are a soft yellow throughout the home, accented with dark browns and greens, giving off a nature feel.

xxxxxThough quite modern, there was still a hint of that old-fashioned look that the outside of the brick house held. The teens in the room looked to be still in their high school years. And based on their jokes, they were around Sophomore or Junior in ranking. Whether they were of age or simply insinuated such a perception or if they were actually as they appeared was unknown. "The ones on the counter would have the same freckles and caramel skin, hair the same rich chocolate color, and eyes a similar shade of brown; akin to siblings. However, they looked so similar that it would best be said they were twins. The three running around in the living room would seem to be wearing the same colors of red, black, and purple, but those were all the similarities they shared. One would have dark skin and dark eyes, hair a faint dark brown. Another would have pale, ivory colored skin, red hair, and an irish green color to their eyes. And the last would have noticeably pink skin, blue eyes, and blond hair. Each would be different heights; each would be different weights. The one on the couch would have yellowish skin, black hair and eyes, and would be wearing strictly blue jean garments."

xxxxx"The female posted behind the couch would have long auburn colored hair, narrowed hazel eyes, and would be wearing a cotton sundress of a pale yellow color. Her hand would graze the shoulder of the boy on the couch, and he would just continue to observe the others. A hint that the two might be closely acquainted. Finally the black haired youth would speak..." The exchange would be brief, as the boy merely wished to express his happiness regarding them being together. As he would speak the girl would continue to rest her hand where it laid, described as such on the boy's shoulder, and then would move around the edge of the couch to sit on the middle cushion. "She would move. And it would be slow, almost careful, and her eyes would never leave her hand. She would finally rest beside the boy and sigh. Her body would slant, her neck craning, until she would come to rest on his shoulder atop of her glued hand. The boy that had fallen would finally get up, having needed time to compose himself after his fall. He chimes in saying how he was also happy and that it was a decent change from their droll actions while in school a few months ago."

xxxxx"But it was clear that summer was moving out of the full swing phase and into the phase of homework, chores, and stripping trees. The twin would explain that in commemoration, they should all do something grand together. But what might such a thing be?" The boy on the couch would look over at the first twin before looking over at the other. As he was the only one not preoccupied, no one else would acknowledge the girl at the moment. They were heavy in numbers. Seven friends considering doing something big together. It would undoubtedly be a task but one of pure fun or of genuine mischievousness and debauchery for few? The look of the girl, eyes glittering and smile widening, would make anyone wonder. "And then the door would ring, a loud rapping against the door would quickly follow, and then someone singing for the door to be opened. Was this another friend or some strange person seeking entry hearing their the cheerful cries of the youths and prying them free of any reverie they may have had prior? The three would race, nudging and stumbling along until one of them manages to get to and open the door."

xxxxx"Just who is unknown as all chime that they got the door and they were all crowded at it when it was forced open. One of the three, the one with red hair, would tumble out of the door and into the one knocking." A boy with white looking hair and white looking eyes would be knocked off the porch and onto the sidewalk a ways back. The other two boys would step out of the doorway and onto the porch as red and white blur together. The two males would be wrestling on the ground, grumbling about what happened and whose fault it was. They would continue going at it as the two males would cheer. Finally the black hair youth would step through the roaring boys and stand on the porch with the auburn haired female and the twins behind him. Finally names would be said while being careful to focus on who is who. "Toshio would be the black haired and eyed boy that was sitting on the couch. The auburn haired female with hazel eyes would be name Gandhali. The red haired boy with irish green eyes would be Fergus, the dark skinned and eyed boy with dark brown hair would be Absko, and the pink skinned boy with blonde hair and blue eyes would be named Isaiah."

xxxxx"Aidan and Nadia would be the twins with it being in order of male twin to female twin. And the newcomer would be named Archa. Toshio would urge for Archa and Fergus to stop and before long they would. Coming to rest in the butterfly position next to each other on the ground, Toshio would ask everyone to listen to what Nadia has to say. And again the subject of them doing something for the summer before it ends comes up. Having a loving personality, Isaiah would be the first to suggest a bonding activity. He would go deeper and suggest that they all participate in some sort of festival or event together. Gandhali would be the first to quickly shoot down the idea. She wanted to do something more exciting and that wasn't it. Absko was in agreement, expressing how that activity felt more like school. Attempting to give some sort of suggestion, Aidan would part his lips to speak only for Nadia to exclaim about throwing a party. Aidan would quickly reject his twin's suggestion, guessing that a party would be too much work, before suggesting they all go on a road trip. Nadia would pout before Archa would comment on how his older brother had a mobile home that would work just fine to get them around and that he knew a girl that might be willing to tow them about."

xxxxxThe group would have somehow gotten into the same butterfly position in the vicinity of each other. The front door had been left opened until being closed by Nadia after she pouted. Archa, having the idea in mind to involve yet another person made this whole road trip a bit harder to accomplish. Toshio would finally say that they were all teenagers and that meant taking some risk. So he would suggest that they go 'hunting' on a camping trip together. Hunting was a code term for them. It's basic definition was doing something against a rule that someone declares on their way to the campsite. So if on the way to the campsite someone tells them not to walk on the grass then they will do so where ever the rule might be placed. Normally the campsite is anywhere they choose to set up their place to sleep at. So they don't have to go camping, per say. All those around wonder if that's a good idea before Archa states that it's the best option of all of them.

"He's flat lining! We're losing him...!" Silence befalls the room after this woman speaks. The only noise coming from beeping machines and heavy breathing. Suddenly the beeping stops and the female speaks again saying, "He's gone..."

"No damn it!" Slamming is heard and then some sparks. After a few moments of held breath and a drone of high pitched sound, the beeping continues and breath is exhaled. "He's trying so we need to too! We have to save this boy!" A new male voice implores.

xxxxx"The answer is no. Clones do not have a physical form as many assume them to. One might be willing to say that the Bunshin no Jutsu simply uses chakra to create a mirage of sorts for those capable of sight. All parties can see them unless lacking the ability to observe illusions. A bunshin is not to be mistaken for a summoned ally. Students, please be mindful of the fact that they are not tangible. Any other questions?" The instructor glances at each of his students before setting his sights on one that seemed engrossed in a book at present. "Archanam," the man calls while gesturing his hands at the student reading. He waits a moment before an azure eye seem to meet his gaze. "Do you have any questions regarding the lecture? Better yet, can you give your interpretation of the topic we have been discussing the past few minutes?" The youth quickly replies 'no' and returns to staring down at the tan pages of their book. When the instructor begins moving through the assortment of desks towards him, the boy again looks up from the story. "This is a classroom, not a library. While you are here you will give your teacher and classmates the respect they deserve by actively participating in class.

xxx"Respect they deserve, ka?" Snapping shut the book with one hand, the teen raises himself straight up. The thumb of their other hand taps against the wooden desk as the teacher looks at it briefly. "I have fulfilled my need for learning for the day. I have no desire to receive a firmer grasp on cloning techniques; especially the Bunshin no Jutsu. To prevent any further disrespect, I will take my leave now." Archanam would sweep his free hand out to rest atop of a cane. He would clench the skull tightly on the end of the tool before easing up and out of his seat. He would hold on tightly to his book with his other hand while moving outward more and then making his way towards the open doorway on the far right of the front of the room. The teacher would call his name but the teen would not respond. And before much time would have passed, he would be strolling through far away halls. His cane would tap against the ground in time with his left foot as he would pass a hall of lockers. Soon after rounding a corner he would stop and stare at a woman that seemed to examine him slowly with her gaze.

xxxArchanam dressed rather oddly, even if disregarding that it was almost winter time now. He wore no shirt but puffy, dark navy pants. On his feet he wore black boots with white straps crossing every which way across them. That was about all of the clothing he seemed to wear. Every other thing across his body was considered an accessory. Assorted jewelry, an eyepatch over his left eye, and the sword with a red eyed skull hilt. When the youth observes her eyes trailing the blade strapped to his waist, he takes his hand with the book and shifts the weapon behind him. He asks if there is something the woman needs and addressed her as Arlquina. "Nothing. I just hadn't seen you at school for a while." He explains briefly that he was in attendance and that she hadn't seen him because he was actually attending class for a change. "That's surprising. I suppose I wouldn't see you if you if you didn't ditch around my lunch hour like this. So then why aren't you in class now, Archanam?" He lacked enough social interaction for the day so he would speak with her until that need was also fulfilled. But after noticing her eyeing how his pants hung low on his waist, he finds her to not be the company he would want to waste any allotment of time on.

xxxHe would move to walk around her only to feel her hand enter into what he referred to as his Reactive Zone. "Do not misunderstand my sudden motion to leave as a scenario where you should grab me in order to halt me. Touching me is not the most rational thing to do." She would pull back her hand and explain her reasoning but he did not care. He was wasting precious time on someone who was neither fulfilling a need or leading him down a path that would ensure to later fulfillment. He would continue walking, leaving the woman to grumble alone. Once he finally reaches the end of the hall, standing before metal doors, he would turn his head slightly to catch a glimpse of the female shifting around the corner he had turned in order to come in contact with her. Opening the doors he would find himself first staring at a path and then on the path. The colors of fall--browns, oranges, yellows, and reds--would decorate this path due to it being lined with many different types of trees. The brown of wood made even Archanam feel relaxed despite having so many needs to still fill. He would continue to move, not allowing the cane to hold up his movement by keeping in time with his left leg, making his way towards a town a couple of miles downhill.
