yup know the feeling. My charries currently occupied at the moment.
and i'm not the type of person who can just create a character on a whim. Because my characters often end up being different sides of me, or all me.. or something and i'm not very good at the whole, cutting off that connection and what not.
Which is also why i could never play an evil character.. cause i'm not evil myself. i can't get myself into that mindset.

I'm kinda on the opposite end of the spectrum as you. I'm pretty good at playing evil characters, but I don't like playing good ones. sweatdrop
I can't create characters on a whim either, probably because I like my characters to be really original and creative, and it takes time to create them.

lol yeah, everyone's different.
with the creating thing, I was never really a original character person, when i first started roleplaying i would only roleplay as cannon characters in animes of which i could identify with.
So Sailor moon -> the sailor scouts.
Inuyasha -> Kagome
(don't laugh) Shaman King ->Anna.
and that's about it. I'm not sure when i started getting into the whole original character thing. it was after last december i know that. I went through a spell where i'd decided to give up drawing, because i knew i'd never get any better, and i was just kidding myself trying to think i could. amoungst other things going on then. I draw all my own characters, and i usually take the drawing and create a profile from what i see on the page.
I started seriously drawing again in february of this year, and i've come along way i still have trouble with hands and feet and hair. but anatomically the rest of the way i'm getting so much better, if you've seen my last pieces, currently right now i'm stuck on the profile for the characte r i'm going to be using for my guild's roleplay thingy.. which no one seems to really want to join there.. so yeah..
that's why i can't create characters on a whim.
