[Alrighty, I'm new here so I hope that I'm not interrupting, but I thought that this might be a fit place to begin my roleplaying here at the Lady]
Rillian listened to the shouts and booms of the crews celebration and smiled softly, bring the small, curvy bottle of rum to her lips as she took a sip. She stared out to the ocean, watching the cannons fire and the water rise up as it was hit. She made sure to stay a little ways away from the group, not wanting to interrupt. Rillian was new, and she felt it would be rude to join in on their celebration. She leaned against the siding and slid down to sit on the deck. A sigh escaped her softly as she tilted her head back, staring up to the skies.

-Not familiar with the new face, he noticed a girl drinking rum slump nearby to the deck.-
Hello there! How are you this fine day?
-Still fishing, he placed his rod down and turned his attention to the girl.-

Quasan -Not familiar with the new face, he noticed a girl drinking rum slump nearby to the deck.- Hello there! How are you this fine day? -Still fishing, he placed his rod down and turned his attention to the girl.- Rillian brought her gaze back down from the skies above to settle on whoever it was that had spoken. When her eyes landed on the man she smiled softly, nodding her head in a sort of hello towards him. "'Ello. Me? I'm quiet fine, just listening to them over there have their fun. And you?" She looked to the fishing rod and smiled softly, the edges of her lips curving upwards. "Fishing are we? Caught anything yet?" She brought the bottle up to her mouth once more, taking a small sip. Her painted nails shined brightly every once in a while with a gold glimmer as the cannons went off.

*Ares spotted the two on the deck not having too terribly much fun. As the crew went back below deck for more rum and dancing, Ares approached them both.* Sorry to interrupt, but I do notice that you two are not having as much fun as we. Come, join the gun crew and dance with us. One of my men is very proficiant with a flute, and we have another who can bang a drum like no other. Come, dance, drink, enjoy! *she doesn't much wait for their reply as she grabs their arms and drags them away below deck* cheese_whine

Rillian squeaks slightly as she is dragged from her seated position to follow behind the woman who had just invited them to join them. She decided that it was okay to join then, although she was being dragged rather than just following. A small laugh escaped her as they went down stairs and she took a seat ontop of one of the tables, a leg crossing over the opposite ones knee. She took a sip of her rum and listened the the crew chatting up a storm. Or more like shouting up a storm, one could say. Rillian just sat there on the table, listening to them all with that small smile of hers. Sudenlly she stood up, raising the rum bottle above her head as she stood quiet high up on the table. "Alright! Listen up! Some how I feel as if we are missing something, aye? I think we need a good beat for some dancing. Anyone care to join me?!" A sly little smile crossed her face as she looked around to the crew, her misty blue eyes glimmering in the light of the ship.

*Ares smiled wide* AYE! Some dancing, needs be! *she climbed up on the table with her* A jig, perhaps? *she looks towards the new girl and nods, then looks at a group of men to signal to start the music. They start with something that's fast, upbeat, and fun. Ares starts to rattle the table with her boots clicking up a storm. Her jig was obviously Irish in nature. She pauses for a second to see if the girl was going to keep up with her* Care to join me? How 'bout a shillellagh?

Rillian smile broadened as she watched the woman 'dance'. She looked up to her face and laughed softly. "I don't know what a shillellagh is, but I know how to do that!" She laughed and tossed the now closed bottle of rum to one of the men. She turned back the the woman and smiled, she sudenlly tapped her boots a couple of times as if to tease. Then with a sudden laugh she copied exactly what the woman had just did, the sly smile plastered once more onto her face. "I wonder....who would give out first. You or me?" She looked around to the men as they all suddenly began betting on who would win. Rillian laughed and bowed slowly. "After you...mister. I mean madam." She laughed softly, just plain joking with the woman.

*Startledly noticing that the people a ways off were being dragged below deck, Omi curled in upon herself, glad to be unnoticed. It would have worried her if they'd found her, as she didn't really know any of them.*

*Jack was suddenly awoken from his world by the sound of gunfire. Might the Fleet at Gibraltor have been informed of his whereabouts? Might Ares be signalling in distress for help; being bomb-barded by the British Navy? Or maybe they were testing the guns...
"Well... Melaria, I must say that this meal has been quite lovely, but I believe that it is time for the ship's company to withdrawl to the decks of the 'Lady'. A world within our element....
Pray join us. I beg of you..."
*Standing from his spot at the end of the long table, he folds his napkin and places it on the table. Grabbing his sword, he looks about, turns and begins to walk away from the table. Turning..*
"So, are you all just going to stand there, or are you going to come along? Let us turn this gentleperson's banquet into something a little more rambuncheous. Let me put it this way...
"All Hands To The Ship! Let Us Splice The Main Brace! Drinks All Around!"
*Extending his arms out to the women at the table, he beckoned them to him.*
"The night is still young... let us spread our wings of merriment. Let us fly."

<< *giggles* I do believe you wanted to alter a post, not quote it, my dearest Captain>>
*Perhaps it was the consumption of drinks at the ornately decorated table combined with the warmth of the evening (despite the cool breezes down near the docks that could be felt earlier), but Jaden found herself in a dizzying amount of thoughts surrounding the question posed to her by the Captain earlier.*
"Miss Kale. Might I ask what your plans might be as far as your interest in the 'Lady' might be? How long might you want to stay with us?" "What are my plans as far as my interest in the 'Lady' might be?" the thought tumbled around in her head. "To get me away from this place... I've fallen in love with the sting of the sea salt in my nose as I helped the poor souls who perished upon the decks awaiting medical help from the Doctor.... I want to go to new places, see new things... I await adventure and new experiences. There must be more things for me to experience than what is offered in this place.... As for how long.... I should like to stay for as long as I would be permitted... so many things to see... I wouldn't wish to miss out on anything..." The thoughts seemed to have swept her away as the conversation had rolled along. *She was normally a spirited soul, but the liquor and the heat of the evening as she sat in the comfortable chair and confining clothing seemed to have stolen her breath as well as her tongue. Only a little later on, the voice of the Doctor speaking brought her back to the present, even if only partially for a moment.
~ She wanted to say something to Doctor Baxter as to his finding her aboard the ship. She wanted to know his feelings of finding her there in his bunk with what little contents he had in his footlocker strewn across the floor. His compassion towards her after her pilfering his items was so odd when he came in and checked on her progress when scrubbing the infirmary. That only caused her to want to ask him of the letter she left in his bunk after going into Toulon with him. Again her thoughts were all a jumble, but she she still was in a daze so nothing was said.~
It wasn't until the sound of gunfire caused her to shake her head and look about rather startled before turning to the Captain and become fully attentive to those about the table once more. It was only then that she realized that she had been mulling over what she had wanted to say to both the Captain and the Doctor instead of actually saying it. Blushing slightly at the passion in which she invisioned her words and thoughts instead of saying them outright, she ran her gloved hand carefully over the brim of her hat before untangling a few curls that cascaded down the side of her neck and to her shoulder.
She watched the Captain stand and attempt to take his leave of the table to spring the crew into more lively merriment. She realized this was the cue to leave the delightful dinner they had partaken in and set their souls free with laughter, drinking, music and dancing. Jaden took her leave of the table, also folding her napkin and laying to the side of her placesetting, and went to take up the arm of the Captain once more.
~ Before doing so, she turned and looked back to Doctor Baxter. The look she gave him could have been mistaken for a simple acknowledgement of him noticing her gaze. But it was unclear, even to Jaden, as to the look she cast upon him with her deep, piercing green eyes. Even fleeting moments such as this could cause such a look to get lost in a flurry of activity. And as far as she was aware, it was. ~
She turned back to the Captain and smiled politely as she took his outstretched arm and walked off with him back to the path. The commotion of the the others' excitement caused hoots and hollers from the less than provincial group. The final clinking of flatware, glasses and the shoving of chairs as the group started to quickly depart for grander festivities created a small thunder of sound before the crew too started down the path.*

Relieved that the banquet (most notably, the eating) had been put aside, Syn leapt out of her chair with a surprising agile backflip, narrowly missing striking the table.
"Aye aye, Cap'n."
Tuslo flew free of her for a moment when she sprang out of her chair, then once she landed on the ground he dug his claws into her shoulder and clung there as she took off in the direction of the ship without a need for lanterns, whistling a sea shanty to herself as she skittered off, leaving the Captain's arms to the true beauties of the company.

*OOC- sorry about not being on more-moving to another state next week and things are nuts***
Destiny got up from the table, bowed to the hostess, then slowly followed the rest of the crew back to the ship.
The night air was warm, and scented with flowers. The crickets chirped in the background as Destiny strolled down the path to the ship. Her elven night vision allowed her to see as clearly as if it were day, so she had no trouble following the path back to the ship.
When she finally got back to the ship, she heard music going on below decks, so she decided to check it out.
