alrighty.. there seems to be a superlative amount of postings since the 2nd of the year..... does that have anything to do with the contest?
LOVE guitar hero 3, finally got it wireless for the 360. Waiting on my friends rock band to get in so we can totally jam, man.

I don't play guitar hero myself but I have played some of the sports games on the Wii...namely the bowling...It's kinda fun....
Hey if a contest is what it takes to get people to post why not?? Plus, we can comment on just about anything...it's fun!!!!

my husband has been begging for a while now to get rock band... but i told him no...lol poor guy right? naw, the kids come first, maybe when we have some extra cash or the price goes down. plus i figure it will be like all his other games and he will get bored of it after a couple weeks and want to trade it in at game stop for something else...

I think the wii is definitely the best all around system right now, especially for families. We love it! Well, my son and I do... my husband is still into his shooters and his rpgs more...

I agree about the Wii.....our whole family loves it!! Even my hubby!! He played it at some work thing and got hooked on it and that was what inspired him to get one for the family....the being up and active as opposed to sitting and just working the controller....of course there will always be the rpgs in the house but over all it's a family game that all can participate in.....

My mom was looking to get me and my boyfriend a Wii for x-mas and couldn't find one anywhere! She even started looking back in October... it really sucked that she couldn't find one but I got my sewing machine instead! That means I get to fight with it untill I figure out how to make pretty skirts and stuff!

Oh I so wish that I knew how to sew. My mum has a couple machines and an overlocker but I can't do much, I try though. I like to get vintage dresses and alter them to make them more modern because you find some really beautiful prints on ugly dresses. I know the local TAFE's do short courses in sewing, would be fun to learn.

I sew. I guess mom taught me how when I was really young, so its been something I have known how to do forever. Heck, I remember there was even a sewing class in middle school.... do they have those any more?

i bought myself a sewing machine a couple years ago for valentines day. i think my husband got me a stuffed animal and some candy, and i bought him a $100 gift certificate to get a tattoo, then paid 50 more for it..lol so i bought a machine. i hadnt sewn since middle school. i am getting pretty good at blankets and mending things. i make a lot of quillows (quilt/pillow) for people i know....
