If there were a virus that killed people at the first sign of alcohol, I'd be the only person left alive in the world. xp Not that I've a problem with anything that gets rid of what I consider to be a despicable thing in any amount. I don't believe in such ridiculous concepts as "responsible drinking", and "social drinking" is sort of akin to "if it were fashionable to jump off cliffs...?" If I had my way, I'd refuse to associate with anyone who'd ever even had a sip of wine at a ceremony. Problem with that is, that makes almost everyone in the world. 'Cept me. I'd be lonely...much as I hate the fact of it, I do depend on companionship.

And I'm not even religious. Hell, I find religion to be even more disgusting than alcohol. It's a simple matter of personal morals that may be bizarre, but are happily free of outside influence.

You wouldn't be the only one left.

Agreed.

Also agreeing~

Trust me you wouldn't be the only one left I do not drink hence why my friends don't hang out with me so much cause their idea of hanging out is getting drunk...and I am not the brightest person while I'm sober why would I wanna get drunk be stupid and maybe get taken advatage of? All anyone in my school wants to go to parties and do drugs and/or get drunk...I don't wanna do that so I just stay home and be on the internet all day...I need a life crying besides if it were fashsionable to jump off cliffs the world would have a lot less stupid people! lol

I have about a 6 inch slash going down the top side of my arm and around the elbow.

I just noticed it and it has been bleeding for about 4-5 minutes all over the kitchen, hallway and chair I'm sitting on.

No, it's not very deep nor very bloody and I'm fine.

I accidentally cut myself in the kitchen while cutting something up. I didn't even realize it.

Good luck cleaning that up, Blood. e,e I hate it when blood gets everywhere. It got over my white pillow that I always hug yesterday, and I freaked out and managed to get more blood on it. e3e; Thank gawd my mom's washing it in a couple of hours.

1: I stab/hurt myself when someone angers me or upsets me.
2: My parents dont know that im agnostic because they're both religious and would boot me out of the house if i wasnt anything besides Christian.
3: I think i might be bi, but im not fully sure of my self though i keep telling my self im not because if i was my parents would be disappointed in me and never look at me the same way. Life would just be awkward. I also dont want to scare my friends away because i dont feel they'd understand. ; _ ;
[it feels so nice to let all that out, Ive never told anyone.]

Believe it or not, I currently wish to create a system that will make them more or less completely obsolete. Not because they're dangerous, but because..... Well, they might as well be obsolete. Bunch of ******** wastes of space if you ask me. Civilian planes as well.
The general idea o' making this thing that causes problems with drinking is..... Well, driving doesn't usually destroy people even when they overdo it. You can talk a person with a knife down, usually(and if you can't, it's not the knife that's the problem).
An' as for the sex bit, on how it's not always willing..... Well, I figure the public brutal murder of everyone so filled with gall as to commit such a heinous act ought to dissuade any future offenders. And as for the diseases.... I believe the term is quarantine, though the humanity in that is also questionable.

Driving can't destroy societies. Walking outside, bathing, screwing, most things can't destroy societies. Alcohol, however, has demonstrated an ability to rip communities apart, destroy families, and cause a great deal of other things to occur.
That, and it just so happens that it's pretty much already a poison. Even just taking away the ability to neutralize it would screw people over. Adding a poison to add to the pain would just be icing on the cake, really.
I'd argue that driving, and all those other activities, could destroy families and societies, especially if a person is seriously injured or dies. And that alcohol also doesn't always destroy families, only in the cases in which people become alcoholics or abusive. And I fully agree that those people should be punished.

...I think the middle ages thoroughly explored the avenues of public brutal murders for crimes, especially treason, but that didn't stop people from going out and committing the crime again. Watching someone being drawn and quartered, and seeing their rotting body parts displayed to the whole city, is pretty gruesome. People have an amazing ability to think they can get away with things, so they'll do them even though they know the punishment is terrible. Speaking of, people who are alcoholics, true alcoholics, would probably just ignore the sick feeling they got when they drink and drink anyway. A good example of that is all of the smokers who get mouth or throat cancer, need a tracheostomy, and continue smoking through their new tracheostomy. They know how terrible cigarettes are, they know they've already had body parts removed and could die from their cancers, and they keep smoking anyway. It's depressing stuff.

Oh, fabulous. My best friend just texted me saying she thinks she's going to kill herself. Dystopian to the rescue... though her boyfriend, parents, baby, and sister are there and are probably going to try to kick me out. Yay for 2:20 AM road trips!

...I really hope she's okay. sad

Walking in the sun destroys societies! Yay!
[/shot]
And I really wouldn't care if they were so stupid to ignore it all. More people to publicly murder.
ninja

And as for the people who would ignore it and keep drinking anyway..... Well, there's the fact that if you go over a certain BAC, you're dead. And with it not going down, the likelihood of going above that point with continued drinking is high.

I've got this idea for an event...problem is, it would require a lot more preparation and dedication than a normal event...it's more something for one of those Gaian theater groups, I think.

But it'd be funny. xp
