Richard was stopping back at the cafeitera to return his tray, He was lost in his own thoughts, flashing back and forth between his normal holiday greif and thoughts of his coming transformation. How much longer did he have? He barely noticed Gaius as he stepped through the door and headed directly to the tray return.

Aislinn had been dodging the bloody birds all day. Really, the woman hated fowl in general. They weren't -smart- and they weren't -cute- and they were really fairly disgusting and often mean. She hobbled into the cafeteria hoping for a break from them, only to see a couple meandering about in there.
"Bloody birds," she mumbled.

She hadn't been in a terribly good mood since the transformation anyhow. She was wearing long, rather loose pants that only just failed at showing off her hips where the hair was thick. Her shirt was short, though, showing enough skin to make up for the fact that she had to cover her entire bottom half.

She visited the buffet-- picking up mostly veggies and some cranberry sauce, though she'd have preferred proper fruits. Then, she settled at a table next to a familiar-looking bald guy with green all over his skin,
"'llo."

There was probably some rule about not getting oneself drunk earlier than 5 in the evening, but it had been forgotten in favor of a couple drinks too many and lack of a watch. It wasn't even so that he could loosen up. He'd had one drink, and another, and at least a couple more, as if with each he was a step closer to throwing away what memories he had. It hadn't done what he'd hoped it would, and while he wasn't blind drunk, he wasn't an expert at coordination or judgement for the time being.

He was dressed as he usually went, in a pair of now significantly sun-bleached pants, and his hat. There was enough sand around the bottom of the pant legs to indicate where he'd been, if his wobbly movement didn't. He stepped into the cafeteria from outside, blinking as his eyes adjusted from bright sunlight to the indoor lighting. The decorations took him by surprise, as did the live turkeys that wandered about. Thanksgiving? Already? He moved away from one of the idiotic birds and closer to the table of food, still not saying a word. There were a couple of people around. Some guy with a greenish pallor to him, the crazy old man.... and Gaius.

It took roughly two minutes as he stared, looked over at the tables of unappetizing food, and the idea clicked. With an odd smile on his face, he made his slow way toward the food, putting various things onto the plate that he had no intention of eating. Even if he wanted to, his digestive tract would have refused outright. Why bother? There was more to food than just eating it.

He waited until he'd passed Gaius and was safely out of view behind the horselike guy. Then, completely casually, he smashed the plate of assorted messy foods square between Gaius's shoulders, taking several steps away afterward. It was all he could do not to laugh. Yet.

Gaius was unawares of the dragon-man, too absorbed in the food and in the mystery of the live turkeys wandering around - surely there had to be some meat somewhere! - at least, he was unaware until...

SPLAT

A great scream errupted from him as his wings flailed and he spun around, swinging at whoever'd hit him, spraying the area around him with chunks of food dribbling down his back.

His eyes narrowed as he saw an all too familiar face. His lips curled in a sneer. "You."

He clenched his fists. That smug dragon, always leering at him... But he couldn't hit him. Sabin'd made that clear enough. Anger seethed within him as he glowered futily. That is, until he noticed the bowl of cooked corn sitting beside him. He dug his hand in and scooped out a chunk, throwing it angrily in Zach's direction.

Miller couldn't hear the chaos unfolding as he walked in to the cafateria, his ipod made sure that he was completly unaware of the fact that walking right behind Zach would earn him a nice bit of corn to the chest.

"What the-" he looked up spotting Gaius with corn on his hands. That son of a b***h threw corn at him! Or so he thought. He didn't know Zach was the target. First things first thought the boy took his ipod shoving it in his pocket before grabbing the closest tray as a shield as he made his way over to a table holding a nice bowl of cranberry sauce.

Liamh smiled up as Aislinn came over. "Heeeyyy, there's the girl. Haven't been eaten by turkeys yet, have...." He stopped suddenly as the shriek erupted from someone cafeteria - Gaius! Liamh turned in his seat, staring and trying to figure out what was going on. "What the hell?"

His eyes lit up as he distinguished the age-old scenario lighting up before them as Miller grabbed some cranberry sauce. A grin spread across his face. "FOOD FIGHT!" he crowed. He scooped up a large serving-spoon-ful of mashed potatoes and aimed it at whomever the lizard guy was that seemed to be having at it with Gaius.

Zach dodged awkwardly out of Gaius's throw, letting it hit the unwary guy behind him. He didn't have long to laugh at the spectacle before some mashed potatoes got him in the side of the face. He wiped them off with his hand, but he wasn't sure who'd thrown them with the alcohol making things a little dizzying. Gaius, probably. A challenge was a challenge, though.

He snuck back toward the food table as fast as he could with out tripping and grabbed a roll, launching it in what he thought was Gaius's direction. He'd have to blame his unsteady aim for not hitting the desired target, but there'd be other opportunities.

Aislinn smiled in return, suddenly recognizing the face before her,
"Liamh!" she started, then shivered as she spotted Zach, subconsciously scooting closer to Liamh..and then moving away as the other fired his mashed potatoes at the dragon,
"What the...?"

The scream caught Richard's attention and snapped him out of his depressing thoughts. He spun and see Zach and Gaius, well he thought it might be Gaius although the man had obiviously changed since RIchard had last talked to him. It took him just a few moments to gather what was going on but figured it out as Gaius whipped the corn back at Zach.

He laughed outloud at the antics, forgetting his troubles for the moment. He did love the three stooges style antics. For the moment he treated the fight like a free show.

Miller turned to raise his make shift shield as Zach let fly with his food but to little too late as he still got hit. "******** all!" he flung the tray aside grabbing a bowl of gravy and the laddle, if life was like a video game now would be the time. Covering fire: He swung the laddle about like a mad man flinging gravy about but not hitting any one just enough to try and make people duck while he edged his way to the other side of the room.

As he did this he noticed a distinct smell from where the turkeys stood and a twisted grin lit up on his face. "You all are going to pay for this..."

Liamh grinned at Aislinn and handed her his tray. "Come on! It's war!" He laughed, scooping up another spoonful - this time of greenbeans. "Have at thee!" He let fly toward the lizard-guy again, but the long floppy projectiles didn't fly as well as the solid glop, and scattered. They missed Zach completely and a few of them splattered Miller across the shoulder and chest.

Liamh's grin turned sheepish. "Oops. En-guarde!"

Gaius cackled as Zach got a face-full of potatoes, shooting Liamh a grin and a thumbs-up before running back to where he'd seen the orange jello mold sitting. The stuff was good and squishy in his hands as he picked up the entire plate in his arm. Running back around to get near Liamh for a team effort, Gaius was in the act of swinging when one of his big feet caught on a chair leg, sending him sprawling, and the projectile went wild, landing with a gooey plop atop the girl's black hair.

((I demand a fecking re roll... *Stabs Gaia*))

Miller continued to flind gravy makeing his way to the turkeys. Sure it was wrong, yes it was sick. But revenge- hold that stringed beans sucked. "Jerk! I hate green beans!" He didn't even bother to fight back this time he was too buys getting rid of the beans, so disgusting, vile vile beans.

Aislinn laughed, taking up some cranberry sauce in her own spoon and launching it in the general direction of whomever had just settled orange jello in her hair. She thought it was the rather equine-looking man that Zach had first attacked, but she wasn't quite sure as she'd been paying more attention to the man next to her.

"Liamh, this is positively ridiculous!" she grinned. At least the jello'd been orange and sort of matched the orange streaks that were quickly fading out of her hair...oooh that did give her an idea!
