"what the hell IS dream, anyway?" auron asks, after hearing the ship comment "it surely isnt a regular sword, thats for sure" he says, walking over to Resatè "hey, care for a bottle of rum, Resatè?" he asks the towering man, straining his neck to look up at Resatè's face

Rez smiles and takes the bottle, downing it in a single gulp.
Kibo: I have several ways to make this day more interesting. But I'm afraid Auron gives up too easily in fights.

He walks belowdecks, returning a few moments later with a massive bag of gold, almost twice the size of his body, slung over his shoulder.
Kibo: I bet this that you can't last 10 minutes against me.

Storm tossed another bag of gold to the deck, smiling unpleasently. Zia and Maida each tossed in a small, bugling bag of their own.
"Five minuets."
"Three," "Minuets."
They giggled and payed no more attention to their wages. Which were a hoard of pretty river rocks. Worthless, yes, but pretty. Storm had tried again and again to expalin the difference to the friends to no avail. They alway ran away and raided her sugar stash.
"Mister Ranu," "Is your sword," "A dopplarganger?"

"Resatè, Resshin, you willing to go back into these swords for a bit, until i slice kibo to ribbons?" auron said, turning to Resshin "dont worry, you can come back out after i win" he smiles, chuckling as he turns to kibo "what about your weapons, admiral"

"jeez, not even my captain wants to support me" auron says, taking both Resatè's and Resshin's swords, then touching them to their respective spirits, pulling them into the swords "lets do this" he says, pointing Resatè at kibo

Ranu smiled coldly, "I bet this." He held up a small toy dog he had taken from a home in Port Royal. "Unless a lady would like it?" He offered it towards Storm, Zia, Maida, and his cousin, before answering the crow girls.
"No no. I'm not actually sure what Dream is, just that she is from another place, but I do know she isn't a droppleganger."

Storm looked, well frightened, at Ranu's offer.
"Don't tempt them, I beg of you, Ranu. It's already bad enough with the parrots and snakes and fish; please don't add to the calamities."
Zia and Maida c**k their head.
"Then how do," "You know she isn't?" "They can turn into," "Anything they want," "You know."

Ranu shrugged, tossing the toy to Zia. "Here."
Dream, shaped as a cat still, slinked towards the girls, sitting and looking at them in that intense cat way, "I'm a spirit. thats all you need to know. And I'm not a droppleganger."

Zia was examining the toy, Maida clapped her hands merrily, and Storm glaring death into Ranu.
"You are a spirit too? Oh goody!"
Storm's voice was mild and calm, much as one would speak to a building jumper.
"Whyever did you have to do that, Ranu?"
