Darith is jogging around the school when he bumps into a girl on roller skates
"Oh my god Im so..." his voice trails off when he sees her face
"...sorry oh uh let me help you up"

Serenity fell on her bottom, but let him help her up. "Oh, it's fine." She said, her eyes glistening in the blinding radiant sun. "It happens all the time." Her laugh echoed through the silent campus as she struck a hand out. "My name is Serenity! What's your name?"

She smiled back, trying to balance herself on the roller blades that were hard to stand on. "Nice to meet you too." Serenity replied. Darith looked kind of spacey to her, as if he was falling into her lovely purple eyes.

Serenity could tell that he was crushing on her, but pretended she didn't notice his red face so she wouldn't embarrass him. "You don't have to apologize, don't worry." She adjusted her blue helmet, which was slightly tilted to the side. Suddenly, Serenity slipped and almost fell to the ground, but caught herself to the metal bar next to the sidewalk and leaned on it.

Serenity looked into his eyes, which were filled with hope and confidence. She thought there was no reason to say no, and she was starting to like him a little. "Sure, why not?" Serenity replied in a fun tone, showing him that she wanted to.

"Alright." Serenity took the half of paper unwritten on and used the metal bar as a table. Once she was done writing it, she handed it to Darith as she took his number in the process.

Although it was kind of strange for a guy to ask her out the first 15 minutes they met each other, Serenity considered it rather sweet and flattering. "Cool. I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." She gave him one last look and started skating where she was going, letting her pale hair blow in the wind.

Wow, I guess dreams really can come true... Serenity thought to herself, surprised that she was already on a "date". She took a sharp turn down her sidewalk and headed home, the phone number tucked in her back jean pocket.
