[[So if there's a time lapse, what happened to Legacy? I'm just wondering. I'm perfectly fine with the lapse, but I just wanna know what happened to one of my horses.]]

((I would assume that Legacy could still be around the herd, be more accepted or not. It's your choice.))

Legacy had spent a whole three months out wandering with a bachelor stallion herd he found elsewhere. He traveled with them, fought over mares, and lost with them, and played with them. He should go back to that old herd now, check on the mares and see if he could come back and find someone to play around with, and maybe join the herd. He kinda liked being free, actually, but he needed to pass on his bloodline.
He traveled through hills, mountains, and valleys, finding the old herd he stalked before. Eventually, he reached the place where he had first found the herd. He slowed down to a slow trot before stopping upon the hilltop he was on before. The first time he had found the herd, right before he made a move on trying to steal the stallions' mares. He whinnied as he reared before taking off in a gallop again and galloping toward the way that he had once followed the herd,
When he reached the herd's grazing grounds, he slowed to a walk and walked around the trees of the herd's grazing grounds. He used the trees and shrubbery as a cover, staying far back this time, so the mares and stallions wouldn't smell him.
((Esh, long posts are my strengths. I'll try to make it make sense. And sorry if it's bad, I'm on the phone too.. It's hard getting off when friends are making plans for a party before school... sweatdrop
Edited, and sorry about the error.))

((Yes, before the time lapse it was early spring, and on this island the winters dont have snow, they just drop about 20 degrees. Summer lasts the longest in the rp, and so now theyre 3 months in.))

((I'm back!! ))
Ghost awoke to the sun beating brutaly on his body. He sighed and stood up, shaking his head. His mane was matted and long, almost to his shoulder and his forelock almost reached the tip of his nose, but his grey coat remained clean. He snorted and trotted to Kipcha's side, nuzzling her affectionately. "Morning, love." He said to her. He looked over at the macaw on Dreamcloud's back, he was used to the bird's presence by now. He looked over at Casper, the colt had grown and was becoming a stallion. Ghost would be forced to chase him out soon. Subconsiously, he looked up at Legacy, still untrusting of him, but tolerant of his presence, as long as he didn't get close to his mares. Ghost looked up at the mountains, longing for the coolness they possessed. He began to ponder if he should lead the herd closer to them. He touched his nose to Kipcha's neck. "You think we should move towards the mountains? It'll be cooler, and I know you, Sepsis, and Diamond need to rest without getting over-heated." He told her.
Evander had been very quiet for the past few months. He would occassionaly set a patch of dry and dead grass on fire just out of boredom. He snorted and tossed his head around, half-rearing, and showed his fangs, then pawed at the ground. The heat was no bother to him, on the contrary he quite enjoyed it. But he couldn't help but feel like the two other stallions that called themselves 'Rulers of the Island and Mountains' were going to bring trouble.

((Yeah! Welcome back!))
Kipcha swished her tail, she had barely spent anytime grazing and still she wanted to go lay in the mud to cool off. Her dark coat soaked up the heat. "Good morning. This heat is nearly unbareable if there's a cooler place with good water and grass then we should move." She nuzzled him and walked toward the water. She splashed into the water and stood about knee high in the water.

Ghost smiled and followed her into the water. "Well, I'm not too sure about good grass, but there's sure to be a glade of some sort up there. It's definetely cooler and there's water. We should start moving." He said, then trotted out of the water and whinnied to call the herd to him.
Evander snorted and looked over at Ghost, then trotted to him. "You called?" He asked him, smiling.

*Sepsis looked to the sky with the same longing everyone knew in their minds. She imagined cool rain upon her back, thousands of gallons pouring down, oceans of cool clean rain that washed away the heat and washed away their misery and washed away the hard, dry earth and washed away the muddy, mucky water. The clouds grew dark in moments and rain began to fall unbeliveably fast and bountiful, washing the mud slowly from the horses manes and tails and coats.*

Kipcha lowered her head and took a long drink before walking back over to join Ghost. "We're moving to a hopefully better spot." She answered Evander for Ghost and swished her tail. she turned her head and nipped at her stomach, where a foal kicked.

Ghost smiled and nuzzled her stomach when a foal kicked. He then noticed her stomach was considerably bigger than both Sepsis's and Diamond's, though she hadn't been pregnant nearly as long as Sepsis had. "Kipcha..." He said thoughtfully.
Evander nodded at Kipcha's words. "Sounds good to me." He said.

((I don't know if Aqua's last post means it's raining or if Sepsis is daydreaming?))
She looked at Ghost then at her stomach questioningly. "What? Is something wrong?" Kipcha flicked her ears nervously. So far in the three months of her pregnancy she had noticed that she was easily frightened and nervous.

Diamond trotted to the others. The rain felt good on Diamond's body that was cooling her down. "Where are we going Ghost?" Diamond asked shaking her dirty white mane that was now coming clean from the rain. She lowered her head to nuzzle her stomach. She was glad that she would have a foal. She always wanted one. When Diamond was younger she watched her mother give birth to her sisters and brothers. It was amazing and it always made Diamond want to give birth to a foal. She really didn't care if it was a filly or a colt but she was hoping it would be filly.
