((All I can do is either make him fidget or wake up...and I'm really wanting to emphasize that the power burst to show just how weak Luke is...so it gives lots of room to develop...but since it seems to be dead...Requesting permission to forawrd time a bit?
I'm also taking it upon meself to send pm's to everyone. 3nodding ))
((Ok, I've pmed everyone who used to be in the RP. roxora-roxiri said we are to kill off his character...or we could just ignore him or something...but I suppose the group should dwindle a bit as we go along...anywho, that's the only response I've got so far.))

((roxora-roxiri? Who was that? I can't remember. I would love to forward time. I really want this thread to stay alive cause it has way too much potenial to just let it fade away. Thanks for pming people!! Hopefully you'll get some responses soon.
There's alot of character development left in both Terra and Emmia (as you of all people should have noticed xd ) So... yeah, let's hope for the best. Destiny might not be coming back. Her computer has a virus and she's barely getting any comp. time as it is. I guess its up to us now.))

((hmm...since Destiny might not be comming back...we'll need to make up a story...like the elder sent us out in two groups...or something. Lae (and any other elves who won't be back) were in charge of aiding the students who may not be back with their development. The rest of us were put in Emmia's (and whoever else still active is an elf) care. I figure since we're a pretty imaginative group, we can work this out. Plus it gives the others a chance to come back if they can. ^.^
Plus, I think we need to vote a new RP master. One who make final decisions and whatnot. Iesumi? You up for it?))

((That sounds good to me. It'll leave it open enough so that the others who would like to catch up can simply find the active group. Therefore explaining why they may not know what's happening, since they weren't with the group. That might not have come out the way I wanted it to, but y'all get my point.
But yeah, sure, I'm up for it. Whatever will keep us going in the right (in this case-- active) direction.

I will run all this by Destiny though, since I have other means of contact with her. There is still a slight chance that she can come back. It just isn't happening right now. We'll see.))

Luke stirs a bit, opening his eyes...His now bright red irises try desperately to focus...but it's gonna take a minute. He tries to sit up, but can't...his entire body aches...
How long?...what happened?
An image of flame flashes in his mind and he almost jumps...and it hurts.
...oh yeah...
He settles down a bit as his eyesight comes back...he seems to be back in someone's home...even in someone's bed...
Upon examination of his body, it would appear that something had changed while he slept...as if his muscles shifted ever so slightly...
He had become more tempered in the fire...

((Alrighty, let's do this!! Anyone who wants to pretend they were with us the whole time, go ahead and join. Until we get settled who's all here, this will have to work.))
Her thoughts were scattered in the landscape that sat before her as Emmia gazed passed the glass keeping her inside. The window's light fell across her doll-like face, but stayed in her rust-orange eyes. It had only been an hour since the over sized group had split, but already Emmia was missing her dear friend, Lae. Her slender finger traced the window pane over and over as her thoughts dug deeper, out the window, passed the trees, over the clearing...
Upon hearing movement from behind her, Emmia turned to see Luke, her thoughts shattering as she was ripped from her imagination and thrust to reality. The boy seemed to be coming around, but this had happened several times already and she could only hope that this time his consiousness would sustain him.
"Luke?" Her soft, chiming voice called out in question as she wondered if he really was awake this time. "How are you feeling?"
While she spoke she swiftly walked to his bed and to his side. Immediately she was aware of his reddening eyes and the guilt struck her like a dagger in the stomach. Shasta had been quiet since the incident from before, but Emmia was more troubled over her demon now than she had been in seventy years. A repeat of those events was unforgivable, yet here she was, attending to the boy she'd effected.
Her eyes were starting to sink into a deep blue sorrow, but she stopped herself. She was sick of feeling this way. She looked back at Luke, reaching to check his forehead for his body heat. The boy had been scorching since Emmia had carried him back to her house.
She had him upstairs in the only bed within the tree-home. The room was small, but cozy. There was a sky light propped open above, looking out through the leaves into the bright blue sky and letting in the cool breeze. There were two shelves on either side of the corner-set bed that held several heavy looking books and sparkling trinkets. A window, where Emmia had just been, sat still in the wall--looking out at the rest of the forest with a tiny stool beneath it. Besides the windows, the only light in the room was a rather large broken jar with glowing embers blazing inside, these seemed to brighten and fade with every breath Emmia made and sparked in time with her movements.

Luke sits up slowly, scooting back against the headboard. His hand slowly moves to Emmia's shoulder.
"Are you ok?"
Even his voice has changed ever so slightly. Even with the same tone as before...just seemingly more power behind it...

((It was sweatdrop ... but I kinda thought about it and her being blue doesn't make a lot of sense. Her eyes are orange, after all, so why not use that?))
She watched his hand, then caught his expression as he spoke. He'd mirrored the next question she'd thought to ask and for a moment she was confused by it. She noted that something about him was different. Not only his eyes, but his voice too. In fact, now that she looked at him straight on, many little things about him were different.
"Me? Wha..." She stumbled for some sort of an answer. He must have noticed her eyes.
"It's just... it's my fault. For your... your attack, I mean. I'm sorry. I haven't gotten to say that I'm sorry for not restraining... it... better." she said, rushing and hesitating and avoiding his face. It was stupid of her to dwell on it so much, but she couldn't help feeling responsible. "I just need to know that you're alright."

Valerye leaned against the wall of the small treehouse. Despite its size, she felt right at home. With events happening right after another, she wondered what would happen next. When Luke started to stir, she got up. "It might not be my place to say this, but stop beating yourself up." Valerye said, right behind Emmia. "I don't even know what really happened, but if you keep on thinking that it's your fault..." she shrugged. "It's just sort of depressing, you know? Besides, no one's blaming you."

(( Hey everyone! I'm soooo sorry I haven't posted in like.... EVAR! I totally spaced and forgot about this roleplay, then when I went to post my apology yesterday, I had apparently left the guild sweatdrop I'm sure that I never clicked to leave, so it could have been that my comp kicked me off... Anyway, would it be alright if I rejoined? I've noticed my character's profile is gone, but I remember his name (Thayli) and he was a Dark Elf/ Shadow Elf, but I don't remember which element I controlled. If it's ok with you all, could I chose my element again?))

((Destiny took off any profiles of people who had disappeared on us. Since she's not so active anymore, I'd say you could, but just to be safe I'd pm her about it. She might still check her messages.))
Emmia heaved a soft sigh. She knew that Valerye was right.
"Yes... I suppose I should. Let me explain. I have... a sort of demon inside me. With a great deal of magick from quite a few elders and Lae, they locked her away in the back of my mind. Whenever she had escaped my control... I ended up hurting a lot of people." She said this slowly, cautiously glancing between both the humans' faces. "She's like an alter-ego that's constantly trying to take over. I guess I let my guard down, and Luke took too good a look into my eyes and I think she tried to attack him through my magick. That's why..." She left the sentence unfinished, thinking that the effects of the event were obvious at this point. Her eyes then wandered back to Luke, trying to read his expression.
"Does that put things in a better perspective?"

((Hey, people! Nice to see someone trying to keep this RP alive!! Sorry I didn't reply to your message, Ace...things got crazy here over the holidays and I completely forgot!))
Gabe laid his large head on the bed and gave Luke a concerned stare. He'd been sitting near the boy since his collapse, keeping guard. Seeing Luke awake, he moved over to the other side of the bed where his master was sleeping soundly.
Leaning precariously on the back two legs of a chair in the corner was Marael, her eyes closed and her breathing even and slow. She had been working her magic on Luke since his collapse, trying to help his healing process as much as possible with as little pain as possible. All that magic had obviously taken something out of the elf, and exhaustion could be seen crouching not far off in her eyes.
Gently, Gaebrial walked around the bed and nudged the sleeping elf's hand. With a small sigh, she woke up, her brilliant turquoise eyes opening slowly. She blinked a few times and her hand found the silky ears of the cat. She gave a huge yawn followed by an almost catlike stretch. Her eyes fell on the bed and she blinked several times as she saw Luke sitting up, the front two legs of the chair hitting the floor with a soft thump.
"Well." She said. Her face broke into a relieved smile. "You're finally awake." Marael's eyes scanned over Luke, noting the differences with a practiced eye. She had seen similar things happen over and over again, just not to this degree of severity. Gabe walked back around the bed and nudged Luke's hand, asking for a pat.

"Attack?
Luke slowly examines his own arms where he remembers the flames and pain were...
"If it were an attack...would I not be burned?"
He then grins as he feels a nudge against him. His hand moves to the point where Gabe's head and neck meet and begin to rub/scratch lightly.
"Hello, my friend. It's good to see you again..."
He then looks up at Marael, still rubbing Gabe, and gives her a warm smile. It feels to him as if he's been out of it for a few days...

(( Alright, I'll post as soon as I can figure out a story as to why Thayli disappeared. (makes it funner) Also, I was wondering if I could make a new character too. I sent a pm to Destiny, but as noticed while reading past pages she hasn't been on for awhile, so I guess it's up to you all))
